Kyllah was out fetching water when a ship of pirates came trashing her village. Killed the men, chased and caught the children for selling... after all they are useful for meaningless house chores.... and raped what women they could. Also of course, grabbing what items they could that would fetch a high price.

Kyllah found herself hiding behind some trees and bushes, but what gave her away was the splashing of water when her bucket fell over. Just as soon as she tried to sneak off, a hand grabbed her raven black hair and yanked her hard.

"Looky here boys... One trying to be smart."

He was about to do his business with her, groping and trying to tear at her dress threw her fighting hands.

"Stop fighting you little bitch!!"

The captain stopped him just as she bit into his arm and he came close to slapping her but the Captain grabbed his arm before it hit. Looking down at the female and taking a real good look at her. Hair wasn't like any others in the little village, nor was her pale, almost ivory white skin. Took hold of her chin causing her look up, she was flawless from what he could see in her face and what skin did show anyway.

"Shes' for the emporer... her eyes... they are strange.. He likes the exotic females. Bind her to my cabin. "

He couldn't get the image of her crystal like eyes from his thoughts.

"Make sure she is ..... dressed.. correctly. And DO NOT touch her anymore than needed ... or sharks will be feasting tonight with you still alive to feel it."

Gave her this peircing look with a grin she wanted to so desperatly smack off his face. And was soon takened away, stripped down and left in his cabin to wait his return.

After a few days of sexually tormenting her, finding out her weakness' what makes her scream with pleasure... finding out with the right touch, she really was a screamer. Also in the process of finding out she was a virgin. Almost to late of course. But the Captain new the Emporer likes his virgins too. If the captain was to guess, she was about 22. Kyllah never spoke to them, even when they were all over her and wanting her to beg... Bit her lip so hard at one point it bleed just to keep quiet.

Now found herself in a thin silky black dress, it was more like a slip and hid nothing of her ivory body. Being forcefully kneeling before the emporer as the Captain spoke his peace and the gift he offered. The man standing next to her held a hand with a tight grip in her hair to keep her in check. It was clear she was still pretty defiant. Her knee length hair was braided and at the moment was being used as rope to keep her on the floor and head bowed.

"I have brought a prize for your Highness.... She is like no other we have found. We all tried to break her. Used what we could without permantly harming her or taking her virginity. Yet, the female still fights. Definatly has a lot of spirit...."

Captain looked back towards the female with a grin to his lips.

"She can outlast hours worth straight orgasms without ever passing out.... Definatly a keeper if I say so myself.... Do you accept her M'Lord?"

He said just as looked back to the emporer and bowing his head in respect.

The King looked the girl over, and felt a familiar lurch in his belly.
He was tall, and lean, brown skinned, but fair hair bleached by the Sun. He was the Sun King by rights, but he also had the look of the Sun's child. Continents went to war on his whims, mountains were razed to make way for his palaces, women were his to pick and choose, to use, or discard, or keep, as he saw fit. He was a cruel man, without pity, people for him were to be used as sport, to satisfy his ever-jaded appetite.
Stories of his cruelty and excesses were legendary.

But this one....he liked the look of this one. Feisty, fierce, with spirit......she was proud, of that he was certain. And passionate, too......once the pride had been broken. There was nothing he liked better than to make a woman hate him, hate him with all her being, and then break her spririt, and give him everything that he wanted from her.

He looked at her more closely, noticing the ivory hue of her skin, the paleness.......contrasted with the jet-black hair. The dress, draped over her form, revealing little, suggesting a great deal. How that skin would feel under his hands, as she turned into him, panting her desire and willingness to serve him.....he could feel the hunger growing in his belly for her.

He smiled, with his cruel mouth, at the captain. "I will take her. She will........suffice."
The captain bowed his head, and left the two of them alone.

"So..........what should I call you?" he smiled thinly. It hardly matters........you will call me Your Majesty.......but I would like to have a name, that I may call you by. Or should I choose a name for you, since you seem to be mute?

Fought herself to keep from putting a hand up to her head as the man roughly let go of her hair. Gray-silver like eyes just glared at the two men, specially her so called *Master*. WAtched as the Captain finally took his leave, leaving her alone with this man that only thinks he could break her. If 15 men .. priates no less.. couldn't break, she was sure to beat this monster as well.

Though it did actually surprise her that he asked her name. Even the pirates didn't want that. They just called her whatever came to their thoughts.

"Kyllah"

Short, sweet and simple. Clear defiance in the single word though, showing that she wasn't going to go without a fight. Even now she wanted to rip that hungry look from his face. A look she has grown to know all to well, more than she likes to admitt. Not once did she take her eyes off him though. Wouldn't show what little fear did feel... course she has been told what kind of man he was.

During all this time, although, she had plenty of time to think. He was Lord of these lands... his title alone... deserved some considerate respect. Even in it's smallest measure. Kyllah stood up.. without permission of course.

"You are a Lord of many lands, I will show you some respect.... There is areason I'm wearing black. The Captain did not respect you enough to tell you what his men had done."

Let the thin dress pool around her ankles without hesitation. Knew he would see her soon enough, figured she would just get it over with. Against her pale skin were many bruises, some were obvious hand prints. Specially at her legs and chest area. Turned around to show him the purple, blue markings from the many lashes she had to endure. Course, she did after all deserve every one of the lashes.... Bit into the .... tender... area of at least three men that tried to get her to suck them off. That part she left out.

"If the pleasure I am to gain from you equals to the pirates so called pleasure. Then your better off killing me now because I do not wish to feel that kind of pleasure again. And I will fight to make sure you don't get pleasure from me in return. I am not a stupid child, but I am no animal that can be beat upon either. I did not speak for them because they didn't deserve it."

Her voice was calm for the most part and it definatly showed him the kind of strength and spirit that was behind those eyes. Kyllah knew that she was speaking out of turn, at the same time she didn't care either. He needed ..... no. Had the right to know what was layed upon her. No matter how it's looked at, he would have found out and most likly would have asked in the end.

The Sun King's eyes widened a little as the girl talked, and widened even further when she dropped her dress. My, the girl had spirit! He liked that.....but she was respectful too, and he liked that even more. Not grovelling, or obsequious, just respectful, or apparently so. He would have to teach her the proper etiquttte for speaking to a Sun King, of course, but that could be done in time.

He did not answer her, but instead walked around her, examining her body, which despite the many weals and marks, was a very beautiful one. He put out his hand, and touched one of the weals, which looked like a whip mark, The girl drew breath, but did not flinch, and he liked that, too.

"You are a beautiful girl," he said, slowly. "Your body, flawless, would have been a precious gift indeed. Now the perfection has been spoiled. Who gave you these marks?"

He completed his tour around her, and stood in front of her, looking directly into her grey-silver eyes. His own eyes were dark brown, almost black, and the contrast with his fair, bleached hair was incongruous. He would have been very handsome, had it not been for the thin mouth, which curled cruelly at the edges.

"I will expect you to be truthful at all times. Truth is the path to favour in the court of the Sun King. If you are untruthful, you will be punished, in extreme cases, by death.
Now, who gave you these marks?"

Kyllah closed her eyes at the touch, it still hurt, at the same time it caused the smallest hint of possible arousal, which of course she held back. Thought about how to answer his question, whether or not she should tell him.

"When you are on a ship full of very heartless men, you tend to fight back. The first night I fought. Got punished by the captain, secondd night I still fought, he threw me to his men like sheep to a pack of wolves. He wasn't lieing when he said he tried to break me. I have spent a week with no food or sleep. They made sure to keep me awake by taking turns at touching me in ways that did not please me. Trying to make weak as possible...They only let me rest, clean up and feed last night before coming here."

Shivered slightly at the memories of it all, it was something she would die remembering. Now that she is speaking of it, was begining to realize just how much of made her want to break down and cry.... No.. Kyllah held her ground.

"The Captain is weak and for the past week, day and night, he allowed his men to do as they pleased... except of course the taking of my virginity. . They were mean and far to rough for my body to handle.... So I fought them. With that came the lashings from the Captain...... The second time he couldn't stop himself, it took one his men to finally stop him and in result is what you see."

At this point the tears started to slowly escape as she lowered her head, wiping them away not wanting him to see her weak. Took a deep breath, which quivered slightly, then looked back up towards him.
Almost spoke something else, but then just kept her mouth shut, Kyllah felt she had already spoken to much. To much for her own comfort that is. Now it was just a waiting game to see what kind of man this King truly was.. outside all the rumors and stories about him. After all they were just rumors and stories to her, till she saw the real deal, espcially in this situation.

So......they had violated her, if not by taking her virginity, but by taking her innocence. The Sun King was enraged.

He did not speak directly to the girl, but took from his robes a small golden bell, which he rang. Heavy footsteps pounded the hallways, the doors were flung open. Ten fully armed guards, each half the size again of a normal man, stood in the doorway.

The Sun King barked out an order. "The ship that arrived this morning - the captain and his party are heading back there at this moment. Mount the Cazimirs and bring them back to me."

The guards hurried out again, and Kyllah could hear the sound of gates being opened, and unearthly shrieks from whatever was within.

The Sun King turned to her once more. "You are my property - they have damaged you. They will be brought to account, very soon. As for you - I will see to it that you are bathed, and your wounds tended to. He reached inside his robe once more, and Kyllah was intrigued to see he had a silver bell also, which rang with a different tone when shaken. Immediately servants entered, and began bustling about, calling for hot water, opening wooden doors in the floor which she had not seen, to reveal a great, sunken bath.

"I have heard it said that I am cruel," he said with a small smile, and that may be true. However, I expect the girls that are brought to me to be treated with respect, at least on their travels, and this has not been the case. I will not apologize, as I am the Sun King - but as you will see, their transgression shall not go unpunished."

Kyllah was scared enough to back up behind the King without thinking of where her feet took her from the sound of the guards. The sound aloneecho'ed threw the halls and made it sound as if it was a thousand men. Was willing to accept death, at the same time she had done nothing wrong... or so she thought.

About to protest and ask until she heard the command and for a split moment she feltrelieved that they weren't here for her. It was then Kyllah realized she was hiding behind the King, using him as a sheild from the guards eyes it might have looked that way in the Kings eyes.

Even though it was unintentional, she found some peace at that thought, He was the King and she knew she belonged to him, with that, he had every and all rights to see her like this. It didn't mean that she was proud of her body, which she wasn't, let alone bring unwanted attention to it.

It still surprises her that the King finds beauty in her.

Stepped back a little as the King turned around to look at her, his words were a little comforting.... Especially at the mention of a hot bath. The rest of his words about the pirates just seemed to have faded as Kyllah was so drawn towards the steam that started to rise from a tub. Acted as if she has never seen a hot bath before. She has of course, but a week without a real bath felt like an eternity.

"The captain gave me freezing water....."

It wasn't like her to actually thank people... in this case she was simply to grateful.

"Thank you...Maj...Master.."

Kyllah knew full well what she was to him, she may not like it, but this hot bath was enough to at least start calling him what he was.... for now.. Her Master. Within moments she was creeping her way towards the bath, looking back at him to make sure he wasn't playing some kind of trick. Soon Kyllah was sinking into the bath, letting the servants do their thing.

He sensed, rather than saw, the way she hid behind him when the guards arrived, and this pleased him enormously. It was almost a new sensation for him to be in the role of protector - after all, the vast majority of his subjects were justly terrified of him, the girls that were brought to him in perfect condition he would use until he became tired of them, but there was something different about this one.
Maybe it was simply force of circumstance, she had been brought to him in this condition, he was enraged, she was frightened, events were happening all too quickly.

And also, she was grateful to him! He knew that most subjects were grovellingly grateful for every word that passed his lips, but he suspected that. given a moment in a darkened room with a knife and his back turned, the knife would more often than not be buried up to the hilt between his shoulder blades. She seemed to be quite genuine in her gratithde, and he felt a small flame of warmth stab his loins, and travel upwards, a little way, to the blackened, corrupted, rotted organ in his chest that was once a heart.

He clapped his hands. Immediately on his signal, the buckets of hot, soapy water were poured into the bath chamber in the floor. Oils and lotions were added, the water rose, until a deliciously hot, scented steam billowed upwards. Kyllah looked up, and saw what was almost a smile play on the Sun Kings' lips.

"I think you will find this bath a little more to your liking than your last," he said.He looked directly into her silver-grey eyes. You will be bathed by my servants. I will stay with you a while, however. I would like company, and conversation - many of my subjects have had their tongues removed."

He registered the shock in her eyes then, and enjoyed the moment - and then he motioned her to the great bath, where three servants were waiting to lead her in.

Kyllah found it strange that she seriously found no real fear towards this King. Perhaps it was just simply because he was a king. Didn't want to die, but didn't fear it either. And so far he is showing her just as much respect as she was him.

In fact she could have sworn she caught a glimpse of him smiling? Now he wanted her company? Conversation? He had to be up to something.... Just had to be. Rumors say he never smiled, at least not in the way she just seen.

Began to unbraid her hair, letting the now wavy length glide across her back, hiding what flesh it could just before stepping into the tub. At first she was a bit hesitant of letting more strangers wash her. That to faded when one instanstly started to comb and wash threw her raven hair. Every so often she would slightly shy away from the other hands that washed her body, washing areas that she didn't want touched. Then decided that it wasn't worth it to fight in this very moment. Not knowing when she might enjoy another bath like this again.

"What do you wish to talk about M'Lord? I'm afraid I do not know the kind of things you do."

He watched the way she unbraided her hair, liking again, as he had so much about her, the simple, unaffected way she went about things.
Her questions took him by surprise.

What did he want to talk about?

Well, that was an unusual question, the accepted practice in the Court of the Sun King was that the king talked, or more usually gave orders, and others listened. Oh, not forgetting the paid minstrels, fools and jesters who would patter, flatter and try to entertain him, at lest until he became bored of them and found a superior form of entertainment in the way they begged for their lives.

And as for the other question - 'I do not know the kind of things you do' - left him almost speechless. The kind of things he did - well, he was the Sun King, wasn't he, the Magnificent, the Proud, The Lionhearted. The Giver of Life and Death, The Fiery Blade of Vengeance, The Rays of the Great Yellow Eye............

But what actually, did he do, when you thought about it? Ordered people around, ate, drank, slept, sat through innumerable boring ceremonies dedicated to his greatness....he stopped this train of thought very quickly indeed.

He gave a short laugh, more like a bark. "What I do is none of your business. I am The Sun King, and that is all that matters. What I am more interested in is you. Where are you from? What was your life like, before you were brought to me?"

He sat at the edge of the ater, and had a sudden urge to take off his shoes, and trail them in the warm soapy water while h talked to her, but that would be a very unkingly thing to do in front of a mere girl, he thought, and he resisted.
The other urge, which also came to him quite unbidden, was to wash the girl himself, to drag the suds all over her pale, ivory skin, washing away her hurt and pain, to feel the curve of her body as she -

He controlled himself once more. Damn this girl. He was the Sun King, he could do whatever he liked - but something about her had got under his skin a little, he didn't want her to think ill of him, at least not yet.

He waited for her reply.

Had a feeling the King was holding back on her, saw in his eyes that he was thinking. Probably even fighting with himself to keep from touching her, which if he was, the thought alone shocked her. He was King, what reason would he have to hold back such urges?

Kyllah moved around a bit, just so she could keep her eye on his actions. In this very moment he seriously wasn't acting like the stories told of him. In fact if she was to take a wild guess... he was searching for something. Even if he didn't know what that something was, it was there deep in his eyes.

Tilted her head back and stood up enough for the water to caress over firm breast and hard nipples, allowing the servant to rinse out her hair. Once the servant was done, Kyllah slowly sank back down, her hair becoming part of the water it seemed.

"Me? I am a nobody.. To be honest I'm not even sure what you would see in me. I look nothing like other females. I am not as pretty as they are...."

Fell silent for a moment,

"I come from the north. My father ... from what I was told.. was a King before he died. The one that took over killed my mother because of how I looked and casted me out me with a servant. Also the new king knew I wasn't his either. I ended up in the small village of which the pirates found me. I was just a child then and I really do not know much about my parents or even my history beyond that. Other than that I grew up as any other commoner."

Looked away for a moment debating if she should say anything more.

"I was also learning the use of magic.... I do not know alot, I've only been praticing it for about two years. And of course the pirates knew nothing of it either."

Placed some water on the edge of the tub, next to where the King was sitting. Made it in a straight line as much as possible. Ran her finger over it and it turned into a long stem ice rose.

"It will not melt as long as I remain within these walls... It is for you if you accpet. A gift of thanks for this wonderful bath..."

Kyllah didn't move away from him this time, wanted to get a clear idea of how he would react to such a thing..

The king stared at the rose. He had seen everything, he thought, everything it was possible for a man to see, even an Emperor, until this beautiful, damaged girl stepped into his chamber and produced an ice rose from the water in his bath.

However, he was the Sun King, and must not appear overly impresssed. He picked up the rose, turning it over in his hands, the rose, though cold, did not melt in his touch.
"A neat trick." He was aware he was being graceless, that he had been given a thing of rare beauty, but habits grow and set hard, and he was not a man who had any reason to change.

The girl looked at him, startled and a little disappointed, he thought. He stood up suddenly. "You say have studied magic.......what else can you do?"

Was a little disappointed, but not all that surprised at his reaction. Was as if he didn't seem phased by it in the least. Moved back to where the servants were kneeling and waiting patiently for her to return, and slowly got out of the tub, feeling the towels dry her off and a robe wrapping around. Kyllah didn't close the robe however, found no reason to be shy anymore. Less of course more strangers were to walk in again.

Didn't speak a word to answer him, not yet anyway. Looked towards the tub finding it to be a considerate amout of water. Held out a delicate hand, with a single finger, she started to make a circling motion within moments the water started to spin, faster and faster. Soon it began to rise into a funnel, creating a tornado type look. It didn't move from the spot, she had complete control over it.

"I can create any storm I wish to. This one is only childs play with obvious reasons. I deal more with water and ice for now, fire was something I was just begining to learn."

Kyllah let the water slowly fall back into place, facing the King and in the palm of her hand she held flame, making it dance and take on different shapes. For the first time she actually felt proud of herself and it showed within those silver eyes, even if the King didn't appear impressed, just showing a King... someone of far higher rank than she has ever known.. what she was capable of. Then she smiled at him as words came before thought.

"I can also dance....."

Bit her lip and shied away again after realizing what she had just said. Kyllah wasn't ready for that, if he wished it, she might comply with hesitation, but she wasn't ready. In that same moment it was as if she remembered her place, the way she was acting wasn't like her at all. Was begining to let this kindness go to her head. Kyllah lowered her head and fell silent, had said she was no child and it felt like she had just now acted like one. She wasn't a fool or jester, didn't need to impress a King with such tricks he had probably seen a thousand, or a dance which Kyllah was sure he has seen more than a million times. No, she was here for different reasons.

"I'm sorry... I tend to get a little carried away. It won't happen again M'lord.."

Just then there was a knock at the door and Kyllah closing the robe tightly and stepping back alittle as a man entered.

"My apologies Majesty.. We have caught the Captain and his men. What is it that wish for us to do with them?"

He was kneeling on one knee and bowing his head in the proper manner.

The king was glad of the diversion - what on earth had he brought here, a woman with such power? He felt a threat to his own invulnerability, a sense that all he had could be brought crashing down by a beautiful girl who made ice roses and whirlwinds.
He had no such powers, despite all the trappings that went with his position.
He was going to have to watch this girl very carefully, if he did not have her immediately killed. It was time to demonstrate some of his own power now, he felt.

"Bring the scurrilous creature to me. You can throw his men in the dungeons to rot, until I decide what is to be done with them." He snapped his fingers, guards rushed out of the room.

The Sun King stood very still, not looking at the girl, just waiting, a cloak of indifference now surrounding him. There was a commotion outside, a struggle, shouts, a cry of what could have been pain, or anger. The doors were flung open, and a bloodied, bruised figure was half pushed, half dragged, across the opulent rugs of the magisterial chambers.

"Tie him in the harness."

The captain looked out through a filthy mask of dust and blood, two wild eyes blazing with hatred. A brown leather harness was released from the ceiling by a long hook, and the captain was strapped into it. The harness was quite loose, Kyllah realised, and the guards were still holding him still.

The Sun King looked inpassively at the dirty, bloodied figure.

"You have violated this girl. She belonged to me. Do you have anything to say in your defence?"

The captain did not reply, but gathered his phlegm and spat a great, bloody gob of mucus at the feet of the King.

The Sun King did not move, but gave the smallest, almost imperceptible nod to his guards.

"This is what happens to those who dishonour their King."

The floor beneath the captain suddenly gave way, and he would have dropped into the hole beneath, but for the harness which was simultaneously lifting him clear, up towards the ceiling, so that he dangled several feet from the floor.
Kyllah could hear snuffles, and grunts, and the most chilling slobbering sounds, as though some unearthly creature was shuffling somewhere down there, in the dark.
The guards were well away from him now, staring transfixed, a mixture of fear, awe, and bloodlust.

A huge snout with sightless eyes shot up from the hole in the floor, a great grey-green body, a flash of razor-sharp teeth, a bloodcurdling howl, and the bottom half of the captains body was ripped away, torn, pulled from him, his genitals and intestines trailing in gouts of red blood, as the creature fell back into the darkness, to consume its first mouthful of meat.
The captain, incredibly, was still alive, screaming in his agony, crying, whimpering with shock and terror, swinging round and round in the harness as the blood drained away from him.

The Sun King remained impassive. "The creature will find ot more difficult to bite the second time. Look how he swings. It may take a finger, or a foot. Or it may miss altogether. Perhaps it will decide to finish its first catch, before seeing to the rest."

"So, Kyllah, you see how I deal with those who displease me."

He turned to her once more, to see her reaction.

Kyllah couldn't believe her eyes and quickly realized she was once more hiding behind the King. At first she her feet were subconciously moving away from the Captain, that look in his eyes alone scared her. Had a hatred for her now, one that she felt to the core of her being. Kyllah didn't want to be anywhere near him, putting the King between her and the Captain.

Couldn't stop watching though, something about the whole scene pleased her in ways she couldn't quite understand. It was the most grusome thing she has ever seen in all her life. Kyllah was fascinated with the creature though, heard stories about such things, it was indeed intimidating, definatly fit for a King such as this one. She almost wanted one for herself, feed the whole crew that tormented her to it... One by one. Maybe even limb by limb, giving them to the creature as treats.

Only a smile from that thought was seen. For now though... It there was a huge trust issue between the King and Kyllah. The little time she has been here is only a scratch in the surface, he knows of her power now and with that will naturally gain concern. Once he turned to face her again, the smile faded from her lips as she lowered her head once more to his words.

"I.."

Struggling to find the right words, but no matter how many times she said it in her thoughts, it didn't sound right.

"I am not afraid of Death M'Lord. But I do not plan to provoke it to come across my path either. I could have burned down the ship in possible hopes of escaping, yet what would that prove? I would have been lost at sea and possibly a sharks dinner. . If I would have waited till we hit dock, your guards would have caught me and I would be here anyway, only under a different situation. Hence it would have done nothing"

Paused a moment, her head still lowered, not daring to look up right now. Kyllah knew her place and she had to get used to it, even if she wasn't in this position, it wasn't right for a commoner to look up at a King to begin with. Less he allowed it.

"At least here, despite my position to you, I know I will be taken care of. If death comes my way, at least I will know I deserved it. You are a King, my King now, there are things I need to learn, but I do not wish nor plan on displeasing you.... Master.."

Kyllah heard the creature finish off the Captain and she couldn't help but smile again. Wondered how she could get one for herself, obviously now isn't the time for such things. There was a lot she needed to prove to gains this Kings trust.

The Sun King watched Kyllah's reactions as she saw the Captain devoured by the beast, and noted, through her shock, the fascination, and the slight hint of pleasure at what she was seeing. After all, he had done this partly for her - to avenge her treatment at the hands of such a rogue, she at least knew now, that there were some advantages to be had as a chattel of the king.
Also, he was pleased that now she had seen some of the power that he wielded close to hand - just in case she might decide to use her magic against him.
And she was certainly using the proper, respectful language.....he liked the way she called him 'Master'. Of course, the proper form of address was ‘Your Majesty’. But ‘Master’ had an intimate ring to it…….and the more he saw of this girl, the more he began to feel that she was more than just a chattel. She should not be allowed out of his sight for long, she would cause trouble. Also he was intrigued by her, he wondered what other talents she had to offer. His gaze travelled once again over her supple ivory body, lingered on the contrast with her beautiful black hair.

He turned to her.

"So, you liked my little pet?"

There were so many things she could have done to get out of this. And it would have started at the village or on the boat, in the end though, she seriously had no where else to turn to. The priates trashed and burned her town down, she didn't know anything outside of it. There was a city somewhat close by, one needed a boat to get to it, but she was told she was to never return there... Despite it being her city.. Kyllah didn't have the power or the know how of claiming it back.

The more she saw of this King, the more hope rised. All Kyllah needed to do was gain this Kings trust, and like all Kings, it was a challenge in itself. Almost rather be a Knight that fights Dragons. No, she was here and if she is able to, Kyllah would gain his trust then when the time was right, he would hopefully help her gain back what was her fathers, therefore, being hers now.

There was a long dead silence between the two, Kyllah wasn't sure what the King was thinking of, he was definatly thinking though. Could feel his eyes upon her, for a moment she wanted to look up, instead held it back. It was his question that made her finally look up and meet his eyes. Her silver eyes lit up and she seriously couldn't hold back the smile.

"Yes Master.... I like him a lot. I do hope I could see him up close sometime..."

Kyllah looked at him with thoughtfulness, then her smile grew a little more as the thought made her excited again.

"May... May I feed him? .. I know the one that caused most the ....brui..ses.."

After she spoke that last word, a little slowly it seemed, her smile faded a little and once more she looked down, not really shying away from the King. For the first time it seemed as if it hit her of how she must really look and it only shamed her all the more. Kyllah even caught a glimpse of a hand print against her ivory skin and it made her sick. It was then that the tears finally broke,

"Before.... You said I was beautiful.. What made you think that? My skin is as white as a ghost, people say my eyes are strange, even though I have never seen them myself. Now... now I'm painted with all these bruises... Standing before you.. A King. If I can not see myself as beautiful, how can I expect a King to?"

Kyllah didn't look up mainly because now she was showing weakness, to her, that only caused her to feel more shame.

The Sun King stared at Kyllah. How could the girl say she was not beautiful? His eyes roamed over her once again, just to make sure. Cuts and bruises aside.........her skin was like fine bone china, her red lips, her ivory hair........and more than that, she had a mystery to her, a magic, and not only the magic she performed, but something deeper than that. The King was dimly aware that he was beginning to fall for this girl, she seemed so beautiful to him.
Most of the other girls he had had were beautiful, to be sure, but servile, and shallow, and interested only in the prestige of sleeping with him.

"Kyllah......you are beautiful," he said slowly. "At least, you are beautiful to me. And I am the Sun King, and my word is law." He said this without any trace of irony, looking directly at her. "If I say you are beautiful, it is so."

He paused again. So, she wished to feed his pet? She did have a sense of revenge, of bloodlust in her, after all. However.........

"You wish to feed another to my Devourer? You should be careful of what you request. The creature should not be allowed to get close to you, you who wish to see it up close. It has a very different reaction to a female, it can sense the alteration in scent. Male flesh it feeds upon.....a female is a different matter altogether."
He paused again, as though considering whether he should elaborate further, but did not do so.

" As the scum who mistreated you are all male, that should not be a problem. However, you should not be allowed too close. The creature will have its meal in good time, I have thrown what remains of the Captain to his shipmates, so that they can wonder about their own fate for a little longer. When that time comes, you may be allowed to watch from a distance, like today."

"I request your presence at dinner tonight. There will be wine, and dancing. I confess I do not take to wine very well, but nevertheless I must drink, it is in the Old Traditions. Perhaps you could entertain with some of your magical trickery.
Come, you must accompany me. I will show you some clothes that you could wear to the ceremony."

He held out his hand, in an invitation for her to take it.

Kyllah almost broke completly right there. Choked back words that would have disagreed with him. At this point she really couldn't speak to even thank him.. More and more he was actually surprising her, he was nothing like the stories told of him. She thought for sure he'd be forcing himself upon her by now, yet he hasn't laid a hand on her, not even when she was fully naked in front of him. Again, Kyllah couldn't let all this go to her head, if she did, it would mean losing focus and slipping, almost slipped once already with her magic, and right now she couldn't afford that. It was as if she actually wanted to please him. If for no other reason, to repay him for the kindness he has been providing.

"No... Noone has ever said that to me before. I'.... Thank you for the kind words Master..."

it was all she could really manage to say about that subject, Kyllah still a bit shocked from hearing such words. From a King of all people....

Listened to what he had to say about the creature, had even a feeling of what he meant by it reacted differently to females. Course she couldn't be for sure, figured there was time for questions later. The rest of his words about some dinner and ceremony caught her attention, watched as he held out his hand towards her, for a moment Kyllah seemed afraid of it. It was only a moment though, with a delicate hand, took his into hers.

"I seemed to have an unusal connection with strange creatures. They tend to accept me, even when they won't accept anyone else. Perhaps you can let him free in the arena? I just want to see him fully, I have heard about them, but never seen one. I will remain distant from him as you wish."

Thought about his request, of course she couldn't deny him of his wishes, mostly thinking of what she could possibly do that would be entertaining enough for a King.

"I shall dance for you Master.... Do you have clothes that will allow me to move freely for the dance? Something similar to a bellydancer? Perhaps I can impress you through a dance, since my rose didn't seem to work..."

gave him a little teasing smile from the comment. Kyllah knew he was impressed, she felt it, he just knew how hide it well from her. She was sure he still had it too, since she didn't notice it laying anywhere else.

"Of course something nice for the dinner. I can change before I dance... Whatever you wish for me to wear. Perhaps a dress of your favorite color? If you have one.. Master."

The King felt excited. It had been years since he had felt this way, years since he as a young prince had fallen for a pretty girl, and been broken-hearted. As a prince he had priviledges, to be sure, but as nothing compared to those garnered as the Sun King himself, the deity of the Sun God on Earth. Girls were free to reject him then, if they chose.
And now he was excited about this girl, about choosing a dress for her to wear at dinner.
Who would have thought it? The Sun King Himself, choosing a dress for a girl to wear at dinner. He shook his head at the absurdity of it.
Taking her by the hand, her led her out of the room, down darkened passages that still glinted of gold, towards the Chambers of the Chosen. He had not been down here for a very long time, it was where the girls who were to stay with him were prepared, and where they retired to when their duties with him had been exhausted. Until, at least, he became tired of them, at which point they were banished back to their villages, or their places in the ordinary lodgings within the Court.
Of course, those who displeased him greatly, did not return at all, but his mind was far from those dark thoughts as he led the trusting girl, the conjuror of ice roses and whirlwinds, of ivory skin and raven hair, towards the Chambers.

At last they arrived at a door with what Kyllah could just make out in the flickering light, was some sort of seal, set with the symbol of the Sun. The King muttered a word, which though Kyllah strained to hear, could not quite catch, and the door simply swung open at his command.

"Come."

He led her into the chamber, in the middle of which was a huge, four-posted bed, hung with drapings, all depicting various mythical and magical creatures.

"Sit on the bed for a while. I will return with what you need."

The Sun King strode across the room, his heart light, he had not felt so happy fro a long while. Opening a great chest, he rummaged around inside, until he found what he was looking for. A pair of the finest silken white panties.........his heart began to beat a little faster at the very thought. Over to a wardrobe, again wondering what he was doing, this was a job for the servants, surely. But somehow it did not seem so unnatural.
He looked in the wardrobe, pulling out various dresses, until he found what he was looking for. He held it out, eyeing it critically. A sheer white, almost translucent dress, flowing, that would hint and suggest the form of the body wearing it. It would cling to her a little, yet flow around her, he was sure she would wear it beautifully.

Carrying his two treasures, he returned to the room where Kyllah was still sitting, patiently, on the bed as he had asked. Holding the dress and the panties, not letting her get a full view of them just yet.

"Kyllah, you will need to undress. Take off your dress. If you wish, I will leave the room while you do so. However I wish to see you put on the clothes I have chosen.
There was no compromise in his voice, no hint that he would accept anything less.

Kyllah looked closly at the walls and the few little things as they walked, learning her new surroundings, the way things were going, if she was roam around free sure as hell didn't want to get caught in a place forbidden. Knew it wouldn't happen anytime soon, but the possibility seemed to be growing at least.

Loved how the walls glinted gold against the darkness, it gave her more ideas for the dance. Already knew what she was going to, it was a work in progress, but surly it would be enough to fit a King, most likly something different.... she hoped. Once at the door, she was fascinated by it the way it was decorated and appeared to be locked by a spell, that guess came as the King spoke an unheard word to open it. She wasn't even sure of the language of the word, although she did take note of it. Could tell there wouldn't be a way out less the person knew how to open the door. Most likely can only be opened from the outside too. Another random guess, Kyllah wasn't planning on escaping, just like to know details of her enviroment.

Eased herself onto the bed, it was the most softest bed she has ever felt, and the size was incredible too. Could easily curl up on it and just sleep right now, of course sleep was the last thing on her mind though. Didn't want to stay seated, the room intrigued her, wanted to explore it some more. While she waited, looked at each of the hanging drapes, fascinated by each of the creatures. One or two she actually has seen from up north, almost befriended on even, but the town wasn't impressed. Type of creature that would have fed upon the livestock.

Finally the King had returned to her with a few things in his arms. Heard his request and found it a little strange, he was willing to leave while she undressed, yet he wanted to watch her dress? What was the point of not watching her undress? It almost made her laugh and she just shook her head as it was alittle confusing.

Not that it mattered anyway, he has already seen her. Stood up from the bed and very slowly, almost teasingly, took off the simple dress that the servants provided. Held it a moment at her chest, letting her arms slip out first, then letting it go. Feeling it caress her form as it slid to pool at her feet. For some reason though, Kyllah couldn't look up to him, deep down she was still upset with how she looked. Despite how much she tried to hide it.

"Would.."

Stumbled a little to find the right words without it sounding ... eager? Perhaps even a little wanton? Kyllah didn't know.. Just had a feeling she couldn't quite put a finger on.

"Would you care to dress me? Instead of just watching? Master."

Her words electrified him.

"Would you care to dress me? Instead of just watching? Master."

He swallowed. To dress this beautiful girl....he had never done anything quite so intimate, so touching with a girl before. Why did this excite him so? He did not know, and in the headiness of the moment, he did not care.

And yet.......she was still not ready. Her body was covered in bruises. He knew his apothecary would have just the creams to soothe and hide the marks......yet he did not wish anyone else to break the spell of this moment, the two of them alone in the room, the Sun King and the pretty girl, with just a sheer filmy dress betweem them.

He thought quickly. This was a Chamber of the Chosen.....surely there would be everything that a girl would need, right here, to beautify herself for him.

His voice was still thick when he spoke. "Wait here one moment."

He noted the slight disappointment on her face as he spoke, as he left the room.
When he returned, he was carrying a small black tub with an ivory lid.
"You will need to remove the marks on your body, if you are to be my guest at the feast. I am the Sun King, and perfection must be seen to be my companion at all times. There would be much chatter, were I to be seen with a girl who was less than perfect."

He paused.

"I accept your offer to dress you. On one condition. That what you have asked, and to what I have agreed, never goes beyond the four walls of this room.
Before I dress, however, it would be wise if I were to apply this cream to your skin. I do not wish servants to disturb us here, and there are some marks that will be difficult to erase, should you attempt it yourself."

It almost actually scared her with the dead silence, then he suddenly left. There was nothing threatening behind it, it still made her wonder if she asked to much? Displeased him how? It was nerve wracking while waiting for the unknown, waiting for his return. Wasn't sure if she should move, or stay, or what.....

Finally he returned with some kind cream, oil, something. Couldn't be sure what was in the tube. The Kings words soothed the little fear that rose during the time he was gone, giving her another reason to be gratful towards him.

"I will only speak to you Master, no other. Less you allow it.."

Looked up to meet his gaze, deep in her eyes she was still uncertain of letting someone touch her again, though he was right, the bruises were not fit for royal company. The ones on her back, no way she could get to those.

"I trust you to do what you must Master... I do not like these marks and I wish to be perfect for you tonight.."

I wish to be perfect for you tonight.........

The Sun King savoured these words. He had heard similar, many times before, but with this girl, it was like everything that had gone before was simply flattery, but this was real and true, and he could not get enough of it.

"Lie down on the bed, on your front," he ordered, and the girl did as she was told, revealing to him her milky-white back, covered as it was with welts and bruises.

"I will rub this on to your skin. The marks will disappear."

He sat next to her, very aware of her nakedness, her vulnerability, and yet was almost afraid to touch her. He did not want to use his position, his power, to gain an unfair advantage, - this was one girl he truly wanted to work for, to make her fall for him, to be more than a mere chattel of the Sun King. It was a new and exhilirating sensastion.

He began to rub the cream into her milky skin, pressing gently with his fingers, across the tops of her shoulders, feeling her relax a little beneath him. The cream was wonderful - already the angry red weals were beginning to fade. She murmered gently, dreamily, as his hands moved down her back, taking care not to hurt her, rubbing and massaging the cream into her bruised and battered flesh.
The cream seeped into her skin, healing, regenerating, knitting broken skin, leaving her with a tingling sensation wherever it was applied.

Almost absently, he reached out for her long hair, pulled it down across her back, feeling the hot flame of arousal burn in his loins yet strangely determined not to spoil things by taking what was only his right. It took a great effort for him to stop at the girl's buttocks, all soft and curved and inviting. She had not been beaten there, and for him to rub the cream into her skin in that place would only be construed as a sexual advance.

He spoke, listening to his voice in the darkened chamber.

"Your back is a great deal better. You can rub the cream into your front of your body, should you prefer."

At first on some deep level, this was also a test, wanted to see if he would use his title and high ranking power against her. Knew if he was to, would have already done it, most likely. In here though, they were utterly alone in a room where anything could take place, showing his true colors.

Damn....... the last thing Kyllah expected was the incredible feeling his hands gave, was expecting the sharp pain from the marks. There was only a slight burn of where his hands touched, soon after, it was a tingling sensation, one that gave her a deep inner craving. The pirates had found out that her back was her greatest weakness, though nothing they did felt anything like this. It took everything she had to not lift her hips towards his hands as they went further down. Now, it was just a simple matter of wanting it... actually needing to feel more.

Whimpered slightly at the feeling of her own hair caressing her back, giving it a sensation she never thought possible. His words brought her back to reality just a little. Was he really, honestly giving her that much respect? Or was it something else? Just what was he planning for her? Kyllah was a just a common girl, what could he possibly see in her?

None of that really mattered, Kyllah didn't want to fight him, didn't want to argue something that felt this wonderful. What mattered now was that deep, burning hunger he has caused her to feel, knew he didn't do it intentionally, had no way of knowing just how responsive her back was.
Looked away for a moment, her breathing obviously aroused, inside her ears was the pounding of her heart.

"I....if it is not asking to much.... I wish for you to do it.. Master.... I like how your hands felt.. I wish to feel them some more. It... it comforts me."

Kyllah was still laying down, had her head turned to the otherside, facing away from him out of embarassment, slightly hugging the pillow where her head layed. Wasn't sure of what to expect, at the same time, couldn't believe she had just said that either. Kyllah wasn't sure if she was ready for anything more in that particular direction, just knew in this moment that her body needed more of what he gave it, those wonderful, caring, yet strong hands touching her.
