I have noticed that the craft store has been mentioned as a underused source of pervertibles.

I have found the floral aisle to be a great source of inspiration. I have used some of the branches found in the fall folliage, but there are some really nice things that stimulate the imagination now.


Has anyone else "said it with flowers"?

Oooh, no, but thanks for the idea. I have a gift card just sitting around (because I'm far too disciplined to spend it on yarn while I still have unfinished projects on the needles) waiting for a creatively deviant plan like yours.

Ohhhhh first laugh out of me today and thank you. I have seen some lovely hand knits of this variety though only photographs. I don't know I can just see someones Grandma knitting them a nice one to keep the general area warm and telling strangers on buses etc .........smiles.........SUPERB

But I'm going to have to find a local willing to tie me up, and get permission to do it, else I won't have the opertunity for quite a while.

She did infact make a vine with red roses, but cut off the stems and attached only the flower part so no thorns. She was very pale skinned, the contract made quite a sight. It would be quite interesting to leave the thorns on in certain parts though, as there is very little chance of them going deep into the skin in any area but the immediate points of contact where she is tied. Everywhere else, I'd imagine it'd be more like a slight needle prickle.

Michael's also carries a medium-size wooden clothespin--maybe an inch and a half or two inches long--that's really great. Not nearly as evil as the wee ones, but small enough that you can cram a whole lot of them together (I had 250 of them on my breasts alone over the weekend).

Ah ha. I didn't say I put 250 on myself, I said I had 250 on. And it was actually a team of two people, and there were originally more, namely on my ears and feet (evil!), but those all came off so I could actually concentrate enough to walk around a bit with the 250.

Craft stores are my favorite... no wait hardware stores... no I mean pet stores... Ohhhh I love them ALL!!!! Now look what y'all have gone and done now I want to make more toys.
