Cat O Mighty
We have all see animal pictures but when I saw the 4 paws together and then the spread one paw apart, now that was different and the thought I had in my head was ............ this could be interesting, just photographing paws but with something else.
Still overall am impressed, am wondering what lurks inside your head when the subject is something more sensual

I wish. Some of them I use the macro function, some I just go with a standard setting. I would like a digital SLR but will have to wait. Must say our calico cat is extremely patient....I set the camera on macro and was less than an inch from her eyeball and she just waited for me to take the pic, though she gave me a little bit of a look afterward!!

Man if I tried to do that with mine, they'd move immediately, and I'd surely nmiss the shot! O.o I've tried it many times.
She has the most beautiful face. Unusually so. ^_^

She is excerptional that's for sure, though at the moment they are both flying through the air with excitement because I am not sleeping so is huge thrill for them!! At this rate I could lose my head!! Anyway, we went for a drive to Germany yesterday, and I can't bear to think of the pics I wanted to take and didn't get to because the driver didn't see why it would make any difference to drive 200kms and a couple of hours down the highway to when it was nearly dark and the countryside totally different from the beautiful storm lit places we had driven through with picturesque farmhouses and tress just begging to be captured...so today out of frustration I decided to spend time photographing a bouquet of flowers I had sitting in a vase...it helped some.

The sun finally came out today so I could play around with an idea that had been in my head. It only stayed faintly for an hour or so, but I made good use of it while it was around. So here is some still life with a twist.

Fantastic !!!
Cat-
WOW! Those are fantastic images. They are incredibly crisp. I honestly don't think I've ever seen the like anywhere on the Internet. I'm full of questions, but I'm not going to bog you down.
Bravo!!

Wow I absolutely love these photos and drawings....
How do you do the light-effect on some of the pics? You know the flares, and the fading-effect...
Oh and those paw-piccies are absolutely adorable.

Thanks. I'm not a fan of flash photography, partly because I don't have an independent flash source at this point, but mostly because I love natural light and the challenge of getting it to work in low lit conditions...so most are taken without flash, at most I might put on a lamp or overhead light if it is an extremely dull day here. I love playing with shadow effects from the light coming in through a window etc., and I also use things like dissusion filters at times to soften a pic, or a starburst filter to get the 16 point burst of light from shiny objects like the ornamental piano. LOL, I can spend hours just playing around with a couple of flowers and photograph anything and everything that comes within range of the lens and me.

Hope you don't mind...
But when I saw this picture I had a urge to tinker with it a bit... I think all of them look beautiful of course, and the most intruiging to me is the sideways view of the apple, handcuffs, and crop.
--------------------------------------------------
Truthfully, I don't know how to upload images and this is giving me a hard time... I'll try to figure out and show you what changes I made.
