My submissive and I are currently working on vaginal fisting. It's one of her issues that she came to me with that she wants. So far we have gotten pretty far along with it, though we are taking it slow. I have found the physical part of it is fairly easy (though I have not gotten my entire fist into her yet, just up to my knuckles, though if I would have forced the issue they would have gone in)...getting her into the mental state to be able to receive it is another story. I'm sure I've seen handballing used with vaginal fisting too but people use the wrong terms all the time and I don't know what's the "right" thing.

I've seen the two terms used pretty interchangably.
Lots of lube is the answer and a slow slow slow 'opening up'.
I like it done slightly cruelly just for the kink factor - being held in that final stretch is amazing (which ever hole you use).

Is the fist balled from the start or after insertion?
I've never had a fist from the word go, only after it was in & up. Even then it was easier for anal than cunt fisting.

No! Emphatically, positively, decisively, NO.

Fisting does NOT stretch you out. You would have to be fisted multiple times a day on a daily basis for months and months before you would notice any change in vaginal elasticity. From a personal perspective, I find the "loose" feeling lasts about 10 minutes and then it's back to normal.

I suspect anal fisting is much the same, but with a longer recovery period. Anal activities do usually stretch you out for a little while, and fisting would leave you pretty loose, but you would need to be fisted a whole helluva lot to lose any elasticity on a permanent basis.
