RJ's Building Blocks

I have accepted certain realities which I find can no longer be ignored for the sake of my mental stability and happiness. I am not sure what consequences will come of the decision I have made, but I know the consequences I have lived with and can no longer continue to live that way. Too much anger, too much depression from repression and too much of feeling isolated and alone. Far too long I have waited pateintly for change that has not come, so now I am going to start making some changes.

In a sense you could say I have decided on a home improvement project and have begun building. Building what you might ask? Well, in simple terms, my toychest. In more complex terms I am converting dreams to a reality of a new life. Hence the title of the thread.

I have decided 5 main areas to begin building:

1) A library of books
2) Rope collection
3) Glove collection
4) handheld instruments of sadistic desturction to bring an evil smile to my face when I hold them in my hand - crops and floggers.
5) Accessories - Like clothing and any deviantly minded purchases that made me spontaneously chuckle sadisticly while wandering aimlessly through home depot.

I am going to wait to get the crop and flogger till after I soliceit some sound advice from some of you good folk(I am of the mind I want to make the flogger myself for theraputic reasons). However, my glove fetish and my love for rope can't wait any longer. So with that in mind I went shopping at Home-Depot. And I can't wait till the books arrive.

So as I continue to add building blocks I invite any advice comments or encouragement any of you might wish to contribute. Thanks in advance.

Definately great rope to work with, though mostly for sentual use because of its soft feel. I like how it gives just enough flexibility when bending joints to tighten its grip/bite.

Oh about the gloves...

I just love the how they feel. For me there is a whole mentality or head space when I put on gloves. I remember wearing gloves since I was a kid when I would work around the farm or at the lumber mill. I kind of associate them with hard work and when I put them on now with a sadistic mindset, it creates this magical barrier of dening my sense of touch from which I derive alot of intamacy from.

The feelings of my fingers sliding down into them and pulling them snug as the material stretches around each finger. I buy 1/2 size too small just to increase this feeling of snugness. Then I tighten down the wrist and flex my hand. Damn...it feels like my hand is pulasating and throbing with power....opps...loosen the wrist adjustment just a bit.

I have my eye on two other sets. One that is all-leather and yellow and rough. The other I may have to order special as I haven't seen them for men only for women. They are made of a deer suede and are incredibly soft which would make for great sensation play.

I guess my glove fetish comes from how I feel a sense of power transfering to my hands when I wear them with a particular intent in mind. My fetish never extended to when women wore gloves, but perhaps now, I might develop an appreciation or awareness.

I once saw someone make a reference to this, and now since you also recommend it I will look into it and let you know of any purchases I make and what my thoughts are.

I wish they accepted paypal. I'm gonna order the starter kit so I can get a feel of the rope they have to offer. Again thanks for the link and I will let you know what I think when it gets here.

No problem. They have a lot of interesting rope. Soon as I'm working again I plan to order some myself hehehe. I won't be able to much with it on my own but there's a warm, happy feeling just knowing I'll have it if/when I need it.

I still get a hard peepee when ever I go into Home Depot

the tool dip will also come in handy when you start to make your own weights...

Tool dip makes good handles for canes and other toys. I wrap with twine first to give some thickness. The tool dip seals it.

I use them to work out, what do you use them for?

So you buy the shaft and then wrap with twine for thickness and then seal it, correct?

Any suggestions on what to buy for the shaft portion of the cane?
Also open to suggestions on material for a good warm up type flogger.

these are small ones I made that can hang on the end of a nipple clamp chain, or, or lots of other places.

I use them for self play with my piercings but they can be used on a playmate as well...

I'll post a photo after I get home from the office later today.

Wow, RJ. Can't wait to watch this progression. Reading your first post in the thread made me smile - and not just from the description of your purchases. Having gotten to know you a bit on the boards, it will be a very interesting transition to observe. I hope you'll keep posting about it as it happens.

I just had to comment on what you have to say about gloves. I never thought much about gloves beyond noticing that they play a big part in your avs. However, reading your description gave me shivers. Might have to start looking at gloves on a man in a new way.

Ah thank you BeachGurl. I will most definately look over that link reference and taking the time to find it for me and post it here.

Yes I do plan on updating this thread often when I make additions. I plan to share some experiences as I go along and also use it to ask questions about certain things I am interested in getting or making.

I have to suggest a trip to petsmart for some inexpensive and useful crops. I have four of them in my toy collection and I love them ^^

I've found the best place for crops is the tack store. Never buy them at the adult stores, they just don't have the quality that a true tack store does.
