Hey, hey, now... Sexxy spoke up before me, I think she should be in the number two slot (so I can get my act together!)

I think "Wheels on the Bus" is LONG if we are going to do any of our own titles. Are we?

We could do "Bus Ride: INSERT OUR TITLE"

or we could just do "The Wheels on the Bus Ch. 01" 02, 03, etc... and subtitle them. I like having individual titles, because it gives people the idea that the stories aren't dependent on each other (you don't have to have read ch. 01 to understand ch. 02 etc.) So I lean toward doing the former, rather than the latter... but that's just me...

I like subtitles also, because it gives the reader a heads up, in this case it would let them know they aren't dependent on the other works.

No one's voiced another choice. Do you have one? If so that is cool too, if not I'm okay with Bus Ride and then a subtitle after it.

I like it because 'the bus' has a particular meaning in the history of the beats and hippies (you're on the bus or you're off the bus; we're all bozos on this bus; etc.) and because it keeps at least part of the 'Wheels On The Bus' inspiration. It's not much more lengthy, character-count-wise.

But I'll title it as the group sees fit.

What about... putting the words "on the bus" at the end of each title...

for example...

I finished my story...

Perhaps:

Naughty Whispers On the Bus

or the character(s) name...

So and So On the Bus


You can get 35 things on the Title bar - that has to include your spaces.

I like it too, but since there is no set thing yet, we are still open for suggestions. I'll put a schedule up tomorrow, so we'll need a title for sure before I do that, because like I said I have a story to post. It was a fun little thing to write.

Just an observation... if we do 'on the bus' at the end, the stories won't appear together in the listings. That's not a bad thing, just something to think about.

Everyone needs to have something of the same in the title don't they so it is obvious it is a chain story?

Yup, but if we want all the stories be listed together, we'll have to start them with the same words, or they'll be scattered throughout the Chain Stories category. That might make it a bit difficult to be identified as part of a chain.

I like On the Bus: as the beginning of the titles. Nice little starter and keeps the stories together.

May 17th is fine for me.
