I'm working on a checklist and I have a few question for those of you that have used one.

1. Did you take one straight of the net or did you write your own / modify an existing one to better fit your own desires and kinks.

2. Do you think that the ones that you have seen on the net are perfect / too long / too short / not clear enough.

I'm asking this because I have been looking for a list to use and the ended up with five different, since I couldn't find a single one I thought was good enough or covered all areas I wanted it to. That made me curious about how happy other people are with the ones that are available on the net.

We used ones off the net, and these days still do, though I have added and modified them more. I don't think they can ever be too long if you want to know what you are both into and what may be possible or not...if you cut it to cover just what you ae interested in, you may get some surprises later on regarding things that may no have been originally included. Have fun with them. :cathappy:

Talking about checklists... I am pretty newbie in BDSM and I would like some suggestions to find a good one.

So, any good suggestions please?
Thanks in advance. :)

We found two we liked and used.

didijune48, you can just Google, BDSM checklist and you will get a bunch that will show up. :)

The one we used is at www.soulshaven.com It's a pretty good one from all the research I did looking for one. The thing we liked about it is you can compare lists side by side.

I don't know how common it is, but both of us filled one out. Seemed to help us figure out exactly what we both wanted/needed. :)

Thanks dixicritter! I had seen that site once before and I liked the checklists they have. Makes comparing wants and needs/thoughts and desires much easier as well as finding out what one another is not up to being a part of.

Thank you to everyone for your answers.

I went to Souls Haven and I like it. Thanks again. :)

I like soul havens best out of all the ones I have seen.

Killshandra started a thread on it last year, as an additional amusement it is possible to put in names to see how compatible you would be with people.

Several Lit people filled it in at the time

Heres a link to the orginal thread

I too being a newbie, have researched extensively into check lists and such. I agree with all of you sentiments. They are too, long, short, bizarre or just plain unclear.

Perhaps this is a task for a Literotica D/s team to undertake the development of a workable check list.

Good luck.

I'll put mine on the web when it's done. It will of course be perfect :D

I think one of the issues that comes up with any checklist is that not everyone is going to understand every single thing on them.

the one i use i got from someone ages ago, and i don't know where he got it.

i'd love to see yours when you finish ;)
