I assure you, it was at least as much a pleasure for me as for them.

Man. All I want to do lately is write. I have so little time for it, but I'm starting to think I need to just carve it out of a day or two. So many ideas. Fantasies. They just want to be written. Argh.

Hmm... long, boring story... just kinda mixed up with the whole dysphoria thing I guess, well no, more like I'm tired of endless images & porn and want something or someone to move me, to make me jump out of bed in the morning, to make colours brighter.... I want to taste someone's lips and feel their arms...... get the picture?
This endless sea of greyness. I think with that I ought to go to bed. I'm tired

Cue violins
Sorry - you didn't deserve that blurt x

Aww. I do know what you mean, I think. Fantasy only takes us so far, only completes us up to a very limited limitation...

First of all, don't be sorry, ever! Second, I did ask. Sweet dreams, hon.

Post SRS attitudes

I've noticed a bit of a pattern in the mtf tg community: it boils down to this. If someone is very early in their transition or still some way from any SRS, the chances are they are 'politically' active and more likely to get involved in TG groups etc.
But once transition is complete, it's as though they melt away, which I suppose is only to be expected: who wants to keep their head above the parapet? But then I've noticed some fully transitioned mtf's who come out and criticise pre-ops for being too sensitive or to 'lighten up'. That really pisses me off because they must have really short memories - or is it that they are so smug now that they quite happy have a pop at people who are still transitioning?

To site examples of the latter:
When Trevor Ashley proposed staging a show in the Sydney Opera House called Trannie most folks took issue with both the title and the content. Yet there were one or two post-ops who came out in support in a very aggressive way, saying it was none of our business and lighten up.
http://lexiecannes.wordpress.com/201...usical-comedy/

More recently there was a broadcast on a Fox channel called Just Kidding http://youtu.be/y1AZ_RgYnN8. The majority of the comments are critical but one or two play the lighten up line.

As for dropping out of sight
this eloquent YouTube girl who resigned from the Transtargalatica http://youtu.be/r87BzVo4cE4
but there are others...

Has anyone else noticed this? Any views or comments?

I wonder if it's a case of "I've got mine....good luck with yours"??
Not that I would stick up for FOX, but I don't think "Just Kidding" has anything to do with them. The Just Kidding video was in bad taste, IMO.
There were a bunch of other sites that reported on the Belgium story too.

once their transition is complete they generally want to live life as a woman period. Many become bitter when they realize that their expectations were errant. I have been transitioning for 7 years now, I am stuck but to be honest I do get tired of people new to the experience talking about something I have heard repeatedly again and again. It is nice that they are excited but being trans usually means a slightly narcissistic experience. Our Dysphoria or what ever becomes our obsession. We want to share our excitement which the people around us do not feel. *sigh* it sucks really. If anything the people around you try to discourage you. I find that Male to Female transsexuals are a very diverse group and not the friendliest bunch particularly post op.

Sometimes life sucks.....but I find all you ladies to be the best, even when you have a bad day!
A BIG group HUG....followed by a pile-on sounds like fun.

I'll see if I can borrow a cello - my guitar playing isn't up to it yet. Do we have anyone on drums or shall we find our own rhythm?

Aww. Thank you! Yeah, same here.

I'd actually been thinking lately of finishing up the follow up story I began for that one. So many stories in progress. I haven't finished a one of them in years.
