For those of you into corsets and the whole outfit. What is it about them that makes you hot inside or make you want to just grab the person and fuck them silly.

For me a corset is a type of restriction and bondage. Not only are they sexy but you are constantly aware of whats on you and it is almost as if it is a sense of control that you have very little control of. That and i think they are absolutely beautiful. Still want that denim one...oh maybe someday.

Just plan to buy myself black soft leather one next month.
I think I like them because they look good on me, and I look good in them :D

yes very highly sexy...the female form itself is intoxicating as it is, but a corset adds that extra ooompf.
and "i" want one to train my own waistline.

I love to see a woman in a corset, the way one makes her body look just like it is saying to me look enjoy let me please you and it does please me. What more can I say I like them.:rose:
 
For me, it seems that corsets help to shape the body into a curvier, more "feminine" form. And some of them are very pretty, which only enhances the beauty of her.
 
I like the rigidity. It's kind of like self-bondage, and I do feel very in control when I have one on, because there's a kind of self-imposed control to simply wearing one and walking. The reactions they inspire on the part of other people create an interesting power dynamic as well. When someone else is massively turned on by something I'm wearing, I feel as though I have the upper hand, at least in my own mind.

I love corsets but have difficulty finding 'off the peg' ones due to a short waist.

Have a made-to-measure orange velvet one. It is beautiful makes me feel attractive.

I got married in it.

Lost the husband, kept the corset.

I am shy about showing pics of myself.

But somewhere around here I have the wedding pics, will try to find them at weekend and scan them into the computer.
 
I put $ down on one last Spring; got measured and everything... Circumstances have prevented me from moving beyond the stage of trying on the muslin mock up they sent me. Sigh. :( Only $300 to go... maybe it'll be my Christmas gift to myself this year.

I've always loved corsets. I think it's the 19th century literature geek in me that first wanted one. I've only tried one on once, but oh it was heavenly. I could very easily be persuaded to wear one constantly.
 
I just got my very first pvc tailor made corset (as shown in av). Haven't had the courage yet to wear it out in public, but I just love the way it flatters the curves you want to show off, and flattens the ones you don't.

Now, if only god had just given me an extra set of arms in my back, I might actually be able to do it up myself.

Helene, can I ask where yours is from? That looks like it might be a Vollers, or am I wrong? I know their custom stuff costs a pretty penny!

I love corsets, love love love them. Have three, all off-the-peg. One's a cheap black satin overbust with plastic boning, one's a white waist cincher with stiff metal boning (I assume it's steel, but this is a pretty weird cincher), and this blue one which is a spiral steel-boned half-bust brocade from Versatile (their Gothic model). Sadly these are all too small for me now (haven't worn them in a long time) but I have a custom pink gingham underbust on the way! It actually already arrived, but it was a mail-order and I think the measurements were off in addition to weird problems with the busk. Fortunately I was able to meet the corsetiere in Toronto and she said "yeah, something is very wrong with that busk" and "yeah, there's way too much fabric in the hips" and took it back; I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive. This is what the original looked like; I assume the replacement will look much the same. (It's by To Die For Designs, by the way.

Probably my next custom will be from Electra Designs because I just love her work, or maybe from Creations L'Escarpolette if I suddenly have a ton of money! (Actually, if I have enough money, I'm going for Dark Garden. Sigh!)
 
No wait, I don't think Vollers does buckles. They do PVC, but I don't think they do buckles. So Helene, I'm dying to know: where's it from?

Hi, Etoile. I ventured upon a pvc line from "Allure," but I felt the design needed some tweeking. So, I gathered a couple photos that consisted what I would like to see, wrote down how I would like it lined and cut, and then brought it in to a shop in town which measures you and custom makes them.

I thought it was actually reasonably priced at a little over two hundred Canadian.

I would have ordered it right off the site, but im no good at taking measurements and I don't think they custom make anything there. It's a good thing, too, because it took me five fittings before she finally got it right. Had I ordered online, I would have had to keep mailing it back. :D

I love that one! I have a few corsets and wear them as often as I can...I love the tiny hooks and find them sexy but they can be a pain in the ass to get into! I know what you mean about needing another set of arms for the laces in the back too.
 
I don't think I have the right build for wearing corsets, which is a shame because I love the dizzy breathless feeling when they're cinched too tight (they also make my cunt throb for some reason) and the ways in which they restrict movement and affect posture, but I am a medium build with a big butt and a very large hip-to-waist ratio to begin with: in other words, I look like I've been wearing corsets most of my life, although I haven't. So I get a super-hips effect whenever I wear one. Very icky. :/

I do love corsets and I have several ones of different colours . Almost all are with light boning and can be easily worn as underwear . In winter I often wear them under my severe work suits and I just feel good ;) , but in summer I use to wear them , even the " underwear style " as outfit on well cut american black low waist jeans and high heels. Must say I like myself that way :)

Another is a leather and silk black one tied on the back with subtle leather laces and it is a wonderful outfit for a special night out , specially with a long "mermaid style" skirt , and must say when I wear it , it doesn't pass unnoticed .

I'm thinking to buy a more "serious" one with heavier whalebones to line better the body shape . But I'll wait to go back in Paris or London to buy it as the ones I saw on here weren't worth the mad prices they asked . :rose:
