I got mine because my middle name is Leigh. And I always thought that was so plain, so I started thinking of BETTER middle names along the lines of Leigh that I could have, and Liana was my favorite. As for the 26, that's T's lucky number.

Seri is my real name, jules is just a play on spelling of "jewel"...something many special people in my life have called me.

Catalina is my slave name, Francisco his real name...he chose to meld the two names into one username we would share and make one.

Catalina :rose:

Whan I registered I was young nice guy with slightly simple views on love and sexuality. I thought of something really cute and as sparrow was allready in use her I choosed the little bird, for I know other little birds in english... :D

The Arctic part is easy, (although techically i live in the Sub-Arctic...i am 160 miles from the Arctic Circle) and the stranger...

I am a lover of the Stranger in Paradise graphic novels...

Gee and I thought it was cause you're stranger than most people. :p

As for me, when I was a teenager me and my best friend were gonna run away. We decided we were gonna change our names to make it more difficult for our moms to find us, and I was gonna change my name to Grace Anne. I've always loved that name.

Mine is self explanatory really but here goes

My name is Jen and I am curious by nature. Hence the lit name.

Not wonderfully witty or interesting but I sort of thought it had a nice ring to it.

pita is the name that my Dom gave me when I accepted to be His sub. It is the most precious name I have ever been called and how I love it when he says it. :)

I was originally "roscoe", from the character of Sgt. ROscoe Rules; a violent cracker LAPD officer in Joseph Wambaugh's The Choirboys. (Which itself was derived frmo old gangster slang for "pistol"--ie. "I cooled the yegg with my roscoe". Rathbone just popped into my head as a snooty and somewhat villanous English-sounding name. THen someone typoed me as "rosco" and I liked that better.

I didn't get the opportunity to go to college til I was 30. I left my job working for a church after 8 years, and went to school. First semester I took mythology and fell in love with the stories of Lilith especially those found in Jewish mysticism. I consider my identification with her to be part of my maturation process, and a symbol of my self discovery. I'm only Lilith, here, Pixies, anywhere I go on the web.

My name

Well first I think I should say hello I'm new here I have not posted in the welcome thread but will soon I just noticed this one and decided to start here. My Literotica handle is german for dungeon master. which is one of my favorite places to play

I am in love with the myth of Cupid (Eros) and Psyche. We have a giant framed print of "Le ravissement de Psyché" over our bed, and the 1973 was the year I was born.
Psyche was born a mortal but through her love of Cupid and much pain and suffering became a goddess, the goddess of the soul.

My usual nickname is cybercat after my white persian who is truly a cyber-cat. He never misses to sit in my lap and watch over my typing and he stares at the monitor as he understood everything that goes on there.
How I got this one on the Lit I have no idea..... just came out from the blue.

It suited me.

It's an alteration of a character of mine's name, also.

I am songbird elsewhere on the web, it is the name of my singing entertainment/karaoke business. :D
I have been having a hard time ignoring my darker side lately, especially after taking one of thise silly quizilla tests. The results are attatched, and my favorite quote is from the director of High Fidelity: "After a while, you give up trying to escape who you are." by Stephen Frears

Recently, I ran across a book on my amazon wishlist: Slut! Growing Up Female with a Bad Reputation by Leora Tanenbaum. I was accused by many of being a slut in high school when I was still a virgin. I guess I was very sensual even back then, and not many knew how to take it.

Suddenly, last week, I realized I was actually a
Pseudo Slut.
The name is only a few days old, but I think it fits nicely.

pseudo is defined as: not genuine but having the appearance of.

I tried being a slut, but could never find the right people.
Now that I have found you all, I am married.
I couldn't wait, my darlings. :rose:
Ah, well. ;)

I've had this puppy since college, during which time one of my majors was German. It just popped into my head when I had to create an alt.com profile, the latest iteration of which is _schmerzgarten_

schmerz = pain
garten = garden

Pain garden, or diversity in perversity....my BDSM interests are all over the place

Mine's got a longer story I guess.

As a kid I loved canines- wolves, foxes, coyotes, dogs, whatever. Furry, four legged without retractable claws and I was happy. Read everything I could get my hands on about them be it research material, books, didn't matter.
Around 7th grade was writting a story and needed a name for the main character who happened to be a female were fox. Somehow I was caught between Vixen (too simplistic) and Alexandra. Kept tossing the two together and eventually got Vixandra from them.
Since then I've used anything from Vix to Vixan to Vixandra as my internet nicknames because I liked the name.
Heck in public I answer to "Vix" or "Vixi" better then my given name (which I tend to ignore because its too damn popular).

I got my Lit Name after the great Technology Journalist, Jason Fau******.

I'll have to search and find what originally made me wonder if you played EQ, but I did wonder at some point - thanks for verifying :)

I played for a couple of years - Seventh Hammer.

As for my Lit name - I've always been shaymless on the 'net. My real nick is shay and well...I played with tooshay, shaybells at Christmas, shaylaylee at St. Patrick's Day, shaymed...but always I'm shaymless.

shay

hah, I've already told the story but I'll tell it again.
There is a character called Aeriols in my book, and actually he's not even remotely like me, he doesn't have any special significance to myself, but several times through the book I mispelled his name Aeroils. I was gonna change them, but I considered making it Aeroils, and a few seconds later I removed the s and just made the alternate choice Aeroil, which I liked better. I still like Aeriols better as who he it, but I kept Aeroil for myself.
