The "H" (hot) symbol

I'm a new writer to Literotica and I've enjoyed the experience so far. I noticed that after a period of time two of my stories got labeled with the hot "H" label. How does this get assigned to stories? Is it done by one editor or a vote of several editors? Is it based on reader response? What are the criteria you use?

I wasn't able to find a reference to this question in the Writer's Resources or FAQ's.

Any story that has 10 votes or more, and a score of 4.50 or above is given the red H.
