So, is everybody ready for Christmas?
I'm off for the birthday party weekend, sadly, I have to drive past the "crime scene" to get there, but I'm going, cuz life is great at four years old.

I was at a birthday party tonight, he is 13 yrs old now. dang, they grow up fast.
shit!! someone just hit another deer in front of my house. sigh. gotta check and make sure everyone is okay... brb. |

yep, the dang kids... they're the ones getting old. I have decided, like my sister, I am not aging any more. in fact, I may start going backwards any minute.
just a side mirror and a ding in the door... nothing major and eveyone is fine. whew! |

We don't have hurricanes or earthquakes. Tornadoes, yes, but not the violent stuff the south has. I wander through the yard when there's snow for no other reason than to be out there. I stand on the deck and watch the snow drifting through the air in the middle of the night. I even attempt to make snowmen on the deck -- and have put signs next to them with goofy sayings before taking pictures that I then send to a friend who misses the snow.
But right now, today, this week, I'm good with the rain yet. |
