Greetings, Last people.
I have survived a 2 1/2 day migraine. I'd like a reward. Please.

Next week we're having the forbidden word...
"SNOW"
It'll be so much fun for the kids at work though.
I'm off to bed.
Good night, Lynn.

And it's a "Good Morning, Ladies" from here.
Bright sunlight, blue skies and a temperatiure of about +6C.
There are days when it is grand to be alive!

Good morning Lasters from chilly Alberta!
I got to work 1:30 to 10 PM today, so I won't be around long. I can't access cPanel at the moment, so my podcast for this week at my blog will be delayed... stupid license issue...

<humming, a little more than slightly off-key... "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...>
Morning Last!
I hope no one minds I am going to put up a fake Christmas tree by my couch. (allergic to real pine)
<humming along to "Wizards in Winter" while I get all the boxes out of storage.>
There is mocha coffee for you and some peppermint stirring sticks, and for the diehards, "Black coffee, and strong!" there is that for you as well. I wasn't sure what Lynn would like because I know she won't have hot cocoa... so I got egg nog, spiced cider, wassail, hot tea varieties, and the ole standby, Diet Dr. Pepper in case she wants to splurge. A cookie tray is sitting on the counter. Save me a few of the raspberry Linzer torte, if you will.
Okay... the tree is started, but I think it's time for a break to read Lynn's Christmas Contest Story.

Morning all, work was alright except for the hour I had to put up with an idiot preaching. I finally snapped at him and told him to leave it for Sunday morning and church where people would listen to him and all he said was, "I forgive you and so will my God."
Bah! If his "God" was so powerful, I'd already have been struck by a thunderbolt!

We retired or unemployed folks, however get a lot of free time to do things.
Me? I've spent a good while in my shed making cables.
I just wish I could get the right inspiration to write !

Use a song you like. Take a line and weave a story around it.
Open the desk drawer. Write a story about the first thing you see.
Look at a magazine. Find a photograph/picture and tell the story of what's happening.

Keep it simple, HP. A silly story. A couple characters. Write about the fish you caught. Have it talking underwater. Have two fish arguing over the tasty treat dangling in front of them. And the one who didn't bite laughing at the one you caught.

Good Morning and welcome to another beautiful morning.
The sky is blue (as usual on such occasions), the wind is fresh (any fresher and it's a gale), and the sun is visible.
Some of our cadets are off running a Cross-country today.
What happened to my old enthusiasm ?.
For the rest of us, there's coffee on the counter.
