I've only ever gotten a couple of unsolicited PMs and they were from women who thought I was a dude. Never been stalked by a troll.

I just don't have the right vibe online I suppose.

IRL I'm a complete weirdo magnet. The strangest guy in the bar is always going to try and hit on me. Ditto for bus stops and other waiting around places.

I wonder if those who attract trolls also attract more legitimate admirers?

I have 2 trolls--both women. But if you ignore them, they tend to get bored and go away. And even if you don't, well, they're still on ignore.

Now, I certainly consider you stalk-worthy, but this troll thing I really don't get. I'm also surprised (maybe I shouldn't be) that your trolls are female. I would have bet that most trolls are male ----although many of them seem to be male pretending to be female.

This is the sort of adolescent boy libido thing that I just totally don't get. Some of that ABLT thing is hot to me in a totally perverse way, but the whole trolling thing is annoying in a yappy little dog kind of way. Makes me wonder where I stashed my AutoSlap™ machine.

And I'm feeling sad for the seven (7!) people who said that no one talks to them at all.

Otoh, as they didn't then post, one has to wonder whether maybe they are happy about this? But then again, otth (on the third hand), why would someone come on a chat board if they didn't want to be talked to At All or to talk to others?

BB, I'm betting your lack of trolls, and then getting only females who thought you were male, is due to the AV. Most of these newbie/unknown pmers don't even bother to read, I think. Just look at the pics. If nude, lots of pms, something stereotypically feminine, some -- and red, flame burning non-sexual, gender-neutral abstract? Well.... That would be me. I have no idea why either.

I sometimes get passive aggressive trolls...GB Clique members usually, who create a newb, then post around/in support of me but never at me, in an attempt to foster the impression that the newbtroll is actually me....which is then :tada: slyly insinuated later, often by Ishmael.

If a newb troll comes at me, if has often meant they're an actual newb, probably a bored university student at a summer job computer.

Who knows? Who cares?

If the troll is smart, witty and entertaining, I say bring it on!

But the standard "you're a sick bastard" variety is cannon fodder.

I lament the absence of quality trolls...they make things fun.

We attract them like crazy, here and other places - most of them start with some version of a scene (beat me-, rape me-, torture my balls-type) ... others (the true idiots) ask asl, or if we are doms. We have one or two on this board, although Holly's worst troll is - thankfully - no longer around (we still think that he thought that if he convinced her, we would both sub to him ). Our latest troll here on lit has been a rude, obnoxious little shit to the boy who is coming to visit tomorrow *yippee!!!!!* and decides to randomly throw out comments to/about us that have nothing whatsoever to do with the thread that he is posting in. Beyond that, we continue to get messages stating that they saw our "seeking" thread & want to know if there is still a possiblity that they could become ours (ignoring the size 7 or 8 font stating that we are no longer seeking, which is at the very beginning of the first post).

On other sites, we get all kinds of trolls - again, ignoring the fact that our profiles on b.com, yahoo, and alt.com now state that we are not accepting any more potentials, as we think that we have finally found the boys who fit in with us best. I can barely get online anymore without at least 2 of them popping up and harrassing me - one of them I have put on iggy now a number of times because the little shit keeps changing his sn so that he can get through.

I know that there is an overabundance of male subs compaired to the female dominants who are looking for them, which is why we end up with so many trolls, but still ... have some dignity guys - the total desparation is entirely unattractive, and mildly disturbing ....

You should have seen the emails I got when I published my f/f bdsm story. All from males. Two claimed to be Mdoms who wanted to work with me; another asked me to train his slave. Why can't I get trolls like everyone else

Its not fair, in rl I am considered weird but here I appear to be too normal to attract weird people.

Wherever I am, I am the wrong kind of weird. lol

In rl if I go anywhere, shopping/cafe/train etc i end up having old people talk to me. Even if I take a book and clearly have 'Go Away' body language they still tell me all their life story and current troubles.

Actually I also seem to be a magnet for tramps/homeless/roofless/people with mental health issues.
One man sat and told about his latest suicide attempt, then asked if he could come and stay with me; I didn't even know his name!!
