taken off the cuff. Turned out better than I expected. Made me realize that sometimes the things least planned tend to be the best experience... like the sudden meeting of eyes across a crowded room, or having someone say hello to you.
Today I complemented a fellow classmate on her ability to speak in a public setting. The way she responded was one of subdued joy... it was as if she didn't believe what I was saying, until I looked at her... right in her eyes. Only then did she feel what I was saying.
Moments like that are what make up the days we live. Why do we so often look past them?

Because sometimes, we're too blinded by all the extra things around us that we fail to see the small beauty and joy of such things as you described.
We get much to concerned with the big picture of life than we don't always take the time to notice the smaller one.

Isn't it an ashame? I mean... I am just as guilty as the next person to ignor, brush off, and simply be rude to life in general. Then I wonder why I think life sucks sometimes.
I am a total believer now... what you put in, is what you get back. I just wish that phrase would alway be at the ready for when I need it the most.
