Needing a woman writer's perspective

Apart from riding motorcycles, my life's hobby is a never ending quest...
to understand the female persona better.

I love women.

Not just as a visual treasure, but as wonderfully holistic companions to us rather two-dimensional, predictable males.
I don't want to confess my current age, but I have been married to the same woman for over 30 years and intend to reach 40 or perhaps even 50 together.

I am a newbie author here, with two stories submitted (and waiting with baited breath) but a lurker for about ten years. I previously posted content on the BBC H2G2 site that is still out there as well as on Experience Project.

EP shut down suddenly about 5 years ago and I battled to recover my material until recently. I also resented the fact that EP's content police would require me to hide content from their auto-filters by making intentional typos and such to get accepted. (I also write in UK English so spelling is sometimes an issue on sites.)

I am looking for a female author /s to read a piece of mine that I could either post as a single item, or use as a closing piece to a longer story. It deals with a wife's attitude and affection to her husband after he has agreed with her the freedom to go on an adventure outside their marriage. I want to test the credibility of my interpretation of a woman's response to that experience.

I want to put another perspective on her return to counter the rather simplistic judgements (as shown in story comments on LW) of the husband being either a sissy cuckold or a stupid, unmanly sucker who should divorce the bitch.

Ladies, I ask for a little of your time, your intellect and your input only.

Without wishing to comment on the rest... if your plan is to publish in Loving Wives, be prepared for a bunch of misogynist assholes to comment on the story. I've taken to thanking them for each individual star they give me.

Yeah, you will get abusive comments, maybe even a death threat or two, especially if the wife doesn't get punished. But if you don't care what some random incels think of you and/or your story, it doesn't matter, right? The attention is quite fun, I think. You're also more likely to get positive feedback, in my experience.

Ha! I’m just waiting to see which way it goes as I write it and will then do my research to see where it best belongs...but I look forward to the challenge if it is LW

I think what Tomlitilia said is right. If you publish a story like this in LW, it will get a much lower score than elsewhere and many abusive comments. But it will also get a large readership, many of whom will be fans of stories like these. So if your goal is to maximize the number of readers who will like the story, it's probably the place to post.

Yeah, when I sort my stories by rating, LW stacks up at the bottom. BDSM pretty much stacks up at the top. Either readers of different categories differ in voting pattern or the quality of my writing differs between categories

Did you get any useful responses and what have you decided to do with the piece Maloufokker? I didn’t hear anything back from you after sending you my thoughts - maybe you didn’t find what I said helpful, but it would be good to close the loop in terms of what other feedback you did get for those that took the time to respond to you?

Be careful about generalizations.

Many, maybe even most, readers of this category are looking for stories that match the description given for the category: "Married extra-marital fun: swinging, sharing & more." They aren't looking for revenge stories. They don't want to see the wife punished for sex outside marriage.

But a significant number of readers in this category cannot stand these stories. Their numbers seem to have grown over time. They are highly vocal, often not very articulate, not at all nuanced, and determined to see stories that violate their morals given a score of 1.

These readers like to read stories with innocent husbands and cheating wives who get their just deserts after cheating. They like revenge stories. They seem determined to try to drive the stories they don't like out of Loving Wives, despite it being the category that obviously was intended from the beginning for these kinds of stories.

I asked for assistance and I got it!

I was warned of a roasting on LW and I got the usual one dimensional kneejerks I expected. I can understand some countries have such a high divorce rate compared to other cultures more tolerant of monogamist lifestyles...

I realise deserts is just a typo but it put into my mind the sight of convoys of innocent husbands driving out into the desert with the bodies of their cheating wives and burying them in an unmarked mass grave the site of which is only known to the husbands. Or for the less squeamish of the readers have the wives buried alive. No retribution for the “other man” because he just took advantage of the situation.

It's not a typo.
"Just deserts" comes from "deserves".

The phrase isn't "just desserts," which might be funnier in the LW context.
