Trump to sign executive order to lower drug prices

So what you're saying is the con artist is going to use an illegal and unconstitutional executive order, the same types of executive orders he and Republicans whined Obama used, to thwart the free market and impose a form of socialism (or is it fascism?).

I'm sure he'd be happy if a real president would sign an executive order telling him how much he could charge for rent in his failing businesses.

Hey, credit where it's due. He is a piece of shit, but if he actually does this- I mean, I'll be shocked as shit- but I'm not gonna try to spin it into something negative.

I just have a really hard time believing he would ever do a single thing to benefit me, the average American. So I'm REALLY fucking skeptical.

Agree. It IS bullshit that American companies charge far less to sell their drugs to foreign nations.

Well maybe.

Doesn't sound like something to be accomplished by executive order...however...

"A "favored nations clause" refers to a contract in which a seller gives buyers the same best terms that it offers to other buyers".

"The Trump administration has passed a rule requiring drug companies to post their list prices in commercials, and is weighing a rule that would let Medicare negotiate the prices of drugs that are administered in doctors' offices. His administration is also supporting letting states set up arrangements to import drugs from Canada."

My thought exactly. Sounds like something that would need to be anchored in law. And therefore squeezed through Congress, which means it would be watered down to homeopathic levels. There's a reason this kind of idea has hit a brick wall when attempted before.

But hey, let's see what happens.
