Democrats are going to win big in November: I’m sure of this as I am of Clinton winning in 2016.

They say women are going to turn out; but David Frum says that white men are becoming like an ethnic vote (he didn't vote for Trump).

I think the Democrats will win at least a house because that seems what happens: a party wins big (or bigger) in Congress 2 years after the President of another party has won; though I'm just guessing.

I think you'll find that "debacle" is going to turn out a lot more Dem voters than Pubs.

Yes. 2016 redux. I'm sure there will be a LOT, mostly in areas that were going to vote Democrat anyway, but not so much in swing districts.

After this last debacle, I don't even see them taking the house.

IMHO

I think they narrowly take the House, lose seats in the Senate.

Their antics if they get the House will sweep Trump on a red tide to re-election.

Voting to repeal tax cuts with no support in the Senate will be interesting optics.

Doubtful. The people want some kind of check on him.

No. Some people want him impeached. Most don't.

I find it interesting that the MSM tends to endlessly cover the outraged screechings of approx 30% of Americans rather than say anything about the views of the majority. I wonder why that is?

Probably because the majority of Americans aren't out making fools of themselves for the camera and social media.

I'm not talking about impeachment, I'm talking about standing up to him. Trump will always get his way from a Pub-controlled Congress. That needs to stop.

Did you say the same thing about Obama's super-majority Congress when it came to healthcare?

No, because I am not attacking presidential-Congressional agreement as such. It is Trump himself that is the problem -- he is mentally ill among other things, and he needs to stop getting his way.

You can't possibly doubt he is mentally ill, as well as stupid, ignorant, incompetent, corrupt and amoral.

Sure I can. Until I see evidence otherwise he's as sane, intelligent, moral, and straightforward as anyone.

Where's your documented proof that he isn't? Or, are you basing your opinion on hate-based political commentary?

Sure I can. Until I see evidence otherwise . . .

You have, unless you have spent the last three years on Mars, in a cave with your fingers stuck in your ears.

You really say that about a man who can't go a day without lying?!

Two of Trump's lawyers, I have read, did a role-playing session with him to simulate being deposed by Mueller, with Trump playing Trump. At the end, they concluded he must never be allowed to testify under oath, because he is psychologically incapable of telling the truth.

A lot of psychologists, for one thing.

You're going to get tired of seeing that gif until you get your act together.

No mental health professional has evaluated Trump. Thus, your "proof" is conjecture based on partisan political opinion from afar.

As a lawyer I would NEVER allow my client to be deposed in a criminal investigation.

We've heard a lot about the 25th Amendment thing in the last 2 years. It was the talking point du jour back in the early days of his Presidency and it seems the narrative is coming around again. Did the D's run out of nasty things to say about the President so they're now recycling them?

Or, are you a couple of years behind current events?

No mental health professional has evaluated Trump.

Ah, yes, that silly "Goldwater rule." The sooner the APA rejects it, the better. There are some things a psychologist can easily spot without getting the patient alone.

As a lawyer I would NEVER allow my client to be deposed in a criminal investigation.

Is that what this is? Certainly not an ordinary one. At any rate, Trump's lawyers decided his being deposed was a possibility they should prepare for.

Because they're only attending Trump rallies, perhaps?
