Flint won't be able to run because by 2020 Mike Pence will have banned pornography of any kind including his site and Flint will be in jail for 'sex trafficking' which is what Pence is saying all adult material promotes...

meanwhile real sex trafficking seems to be just fine with his kind.

Larry Flynt ran for Gov. of CA to replace Gray Davis who was recalled, but he lost to Aanold. I looked up the results and saw that Flynt came in seventh. I voted for the stripper, who came in tenth. Considering there were over a hundred candidates, that was a pretty good showing.

He definitely is, and also more than any of the Clintons, especially Hillary. If he runs for gov. in 2020, I'll vote for him. I would be hesitant to vote for him for POTUS, although he shares many of my opinions RE Civil Rights, etc.

He paved the way in many respects for Free Speech and porn in his war w/the Evangelists. Eventually, they agreed to disagree as each equally agreed on the 1st Amendment and Freedom of the Press.

Flint won't be able to run, he'll have to roll. Somebody put a .44 Mag in his ass back in the day. He's been in a wheel chair ever since.
 
He's been through a lot of shit. I don't know about him. I wouldn't count him out. I don't see where he should really worry about running for POTUS. I think he should spend his last days enjoying whatever's left of them.
 
all i know for sure about larry flint is from semi-personal experience. i knew a woman who worked for him in the early 70's when he had clubs in ohio. he ran hookers out of the one in cincinnati and when my friend went to work for him, he offered her a hooker position. she turned him down but he kept her on at the club, nevertheless. she has always said that he was a really nice person and boss, she never had an unkind word for him. his brother was a real asshole and she said his wife, whose name i can't remember, was a world class bitch. but she always liked him.

He had a racket that got bigger as his wallet and influence grew. I seen a movie once about Larry Flynt. I think Woody Harrelson played Flynt.

Not sure of the latter. He made friends with Falwell after he won. If he didn't, Falwell would likely be gloating. The internet changed the paradigm soon after. (likely one of the few instances the word "paradigm" is used correctly) We've enjoyed free porn for less than 20 years: Christians and feminists are likely waiting for the opportunities to suppress it, and now IP trolls might also be getting involved.

I doubt if Flynt and Falwell will ever be friends, after the extremely scurrilous article about the latter that appeared in the magazine of the former. There is more about that in the Celeb stories that appear on this site.
