The only double-rule is to have in your poems kennings:

  • have a kenning within the first four lines of your poem;
  • have at least one kenning within any consecutive eight lines of your poem, i.e. you cannot have more than seven consecutive lines without any kenning.

You may post your new or old poems. Actually, you may post poems by any author as long as the above double-rule is obeyed.

Have fun, enjoy,

My only kenning is my wife,
in local Cockney, trouble and strife!

my sun, moon and stars never fades
between throne games in their seasons
his uncut hair worn long in a braid
though without bells, for all the right reasons

River hush sleeps the city
sound drowning avenue taxis
and disgruntled drunks alike.
Silt centuries us wiser if not better.
Some who wake are fishers.
Some who wake are archaeologists.
Some were always rivers.
