I think a double-teamy-dirty-martini-dirty-birdy duet is in order, yes?

It does say older English...well, this is about 1200 years old.

An ancient horror.

Haha! You're funny. Thank you though.

I didn't write it. It's an Aboriginal Dreamtime story, much older than any of us. Most of the Dreaming stories are readily available online. There are some really beautiful ones.

I thought that was what it was, but I wasn't 100% sure. You are right, there are some great Dreamtime stories out there.
Very much under appreciated and misunderstood. Nice to see others appreciate them too.

100% agree some people have a very soft and gentle voice, even with my volume flat out I still have to use ear phones to listen to some people.
The voice thread which I listen to often is where I first noticed it.

Then some have a very strong voice that come across really clear and loud, and I can't unplug quick enough.

You have a wonderful voice. You gave the poem a nice cadence. Very nicely done. Come on by and join the "say what you want to say" thread if you have time.

A wonderful poem, wonderfully read. I can picture you reading that to your little ones, when they were littler, and hugging them close at the frightening bits.

It damn well should be a public monument. But I have listened again. I'm trying to commit it to memory!

Agreed! It is truly fantastic. I, for one, would love another Dreamtime story.

And thank you for all the kind words.

When you're deaf, everyone speaks softly. Blame a mixture of genetics and loud guitar amplifiers, not yourself .
