When you lose your hair to chemo, but live to tell about it, you realize hair is so very overated.
 
In Black culture, it is considered a style, but some men discriminate against women because of your short or barely there hairstyle. It is said she has a beautiful face, but would look better with longer hair by different races instead of appreciating the brains they possess or the confidence it takes to wear such a hairstyle.

We live in such a superficial world that sometimes put people in boxes with expectations of conforming to popular standards of what beautiful is.

Years ago attended a wedding and my date and I were both staring at this gorgeous woman with a bald head, stubble really. She was an olive skinned beauty. Confidence and poise.
