Long ago when magic still thrived in the world, the Elves used that magic to communicate with the earth and animals. They made the trees talk, even went as far as creating walking trees, Treants as they were once called. They were meant to be the protectors of the mountains, keeping the peace among man and the wild. The Elves found a family of dire pups that were orphaned, the Treants claimed their mother died during a hunt and the alpha male went missing.

With these Dire wolf pups, the Elves decided to give them human emotions, speech and eternal life. The Dire Wolves were once considered royalty of these woods and these pups were now the last of this particular bloodline. To the elves, this idea was a good one, as a way to keep them alive and to hopefully bring in a new bloodline of wolves into the world. What they didn't expect is the enchantment to work as well as it did, allowing this new creation to shift between human and wolf.

The first mated pair couldn't change, although they were trying to learn the ways. However, they brought into the world half human and half wolf pups, which were very odd looking to the Elves. Something they had not expected and as these new pups grew older, they were able to shift at will. They had all the playfulness and curiosity of the wolves, yet the child like innocence of the elven children.

At first, these new wolves were considered an outcast among the elves. Despite them being their creation, they were just too wild for the elves to tame. The first and second generation of pups ran off into the wild, in search for their own kind to find mates of their own. For many years this worked and the pups that stayed with the elves became guardians, working with the watchers of the forest. Many years the dire wolves made a come back. Thriving and creating their own packs, living in peace among the Elves and other mortals.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Many, many generations later the humans discovered their secret. Discovered all the secrets that the Elves had done to the forest and mountains surrounding them. The greed of man kind took over, they didn't appreciate the same things that the Elves and others alike appreciated. They wanted what they couldn't have. Wars raged along the lands, hunters hunted the wolves, capturing those that can be enslaved, killing those that fought back. Forest fires killed majority of the Treants and what survived grew angry.
The Elves put up barriers to the best of their ability, letting the anger of the forest take care of those that go in. Those that do wander into the forest never come out and the Elves never question the disappearance. As long as their own kind were safe and do not travel into the forest, there was peace. As for the dire wolves, the very few that remained from the different packs made refuge under the elven protection and never ventured out again.
~~~~~~~~~

Kynthia is the last of the original generation that remained with the elves. The pure bloodline died when her pack was slaughtered during the great hunt. She was much too young during the wars and the Great Hunt, so the elves were able to keep her hidden. The of the pack .. the elders.. went off to help fight.

The other packs were not considered pure bloods, they were basically mixed blood from when they went off on their own. The color of their fur /skin proved they were not from the pure bloodline. Kynthia is as pure as they come. Her solid white fur is pristine and fine as silk. The four ears is what truly gives her away though and piercing crystal blue eyes that will send chills down your spine. None of the other packs have any of these features, their wolf forms are simple wolves.

Kynthia always had a curiosity about her that would lead into trouble, especially when she was a pup. Now she is old enough to find a mate, yet she didn't want what she had here. The need to find one that will give her pure blood pups called to her. Eventually she wondered out from the protection that raised her in search of a mate that she knew had to be out there. Refusing to believe that she is the last one in the world.

The elves have always made the forbidden forest sound dangerous, telling Kynthia all the horrors that lay within the dark tree line. Unfortunate for the elves, this just made her all the more curious to go explore and find out what made it so terrible. When she was old enough to actually go wander off on her own she would at least creep up to the boarders and perhaps a few feet in. After a while she made peace with a tiny section of the forest and used it as a safe place when hunting.

However, to get to where she wanted to go, she would have to travel further and deeper into those woods. The really dangerous parts that have not been explored. Luckily for her, the elves have taught her many tricks to help defend herself if needed. A small enchantment gave her speed, the charm on her necklace helped with stealth and a dagger that she wore on her wrist glowed when danger is near. She had other little tricks up her sleeves, like when she is in wolf form, she discovered a way to hide her belongings to make traveling easier. This enchantment was not easy for her learn at all and took many years of losing said items. Her clothes and weapons were the hardest things to make work with the wolf form, yet she was very proud of herself when she got it.

Her travels have been easy for the better part of the day, slipping past most of the dangers, although the trees were not all that easy to avoid. She had to sadly hurt one of them when its roots snagged her paw and another grabbed her tail. Before it could reach for her again, she casted a small sleeping spell on that gave her just enough time to escape it. There were other trees that came at her, which made being quiet and running at full speed difficult. A couple of times she shifted to her human form to see if she could travel through the trees easier. It really made no difference and even with the speed enchantment, this form was much slower than the wolf.

It was just past mid day when she started to hear voices echoing through the trees and it sounded like there were many of them. Which was very odd to her considering the humans avoid this place like the plague, they all know that no one survives this place. Hell, she is barely surviving, spending the entire day fighting these trees had her almost the point of exhaustion. However, like always, her curiosity got the best of her considering she hasn't seen a human since her childhood years.

Casting her enchantment spell for stealth, her wolf form vanished, leaving only the heavy paw prints in the dirt. As she got closer she noticed the humans were arguing over something. Cussing about some kid that ran off and now they had to be in here. Their axes were chopping away at the brush and any roots that came at them. While she watched these particular humans a gun shot filled the air in the distance. Without hesitation she took off running towards the sound wondering what they were shooting at.

Before too long she realized this general area was crawling with hunters and men that seemed to be searching for someone. She never did see what the gun shot was about, although a new scent crossed her path and it peeked her interests. Following the scent she had to go a far distance until she saw a pair of dire wolves with two humans. The male is where the scent originate from... yet he is human..

Unfortunately her stealth spell doesn't last for very long and she heard a human behind her yelling. All the sudden dogs were barking and gaining ground, clearly catching her scent and were following her trail. She noticed the dire wolves with the two humans were starting to sniff at the air in her direction as well. There wasn't any choice other than to run away as she suddenly felt surrounded. Kynthia did what she could to remain silent as she took off, but even recasting the stealth didn't hide her scent or the prints she left behind.

With the skills she had gained with the elves, she had mastered and could have gone on a killing spree with these humans roaming around. And yet, that wasn't in her nature, she wasn't out here to kill nor hunt the humans. In fact their reason for being out here isn't any of her concern really. The curiosity is what got her into this situation she is in now, if she would have stayed on her original course and ignored the humans....

Right now though, her instincts were to run and get as far away from here as possible. Being a wolf.. or even an elf.. with humans around is never a good thing. The wolf they will kill and skin her fur for coin then mount her head on a wall... Or so she's been told. As the elf... well... they typically get sold off to the slavers, what happens after that is unknown. Either way, Kynthia knew more than enough to not be seen nor get caught out here with this many humans lurking around.

That pretty much failed when her stealth wore off at a very inconvenient moment as a child, barely in his teens caught sight of her running by. He yelled at her for startling him and with him yelling, it distracted her and the next thing she knew a huge trap bit down onto her leg. In that very moment of sheer pain and shock, the little boy reached to her with his greedy hand and in reaction she bit his arm.

She didn't honestly pay much attention to his cussing afterwards, oh she heard the threat of him wanting to shoot her, yet her main focus went to the trap. Clawing and biting at the steel also pulling on her leg in the process until all the sudden a gun was point right at her. Just when she thought it was over before having a chance to live a full life, the two dire wolves she saw a few moments ago came to her side. It was the gun shot that brought her attention back to the humans and it was him with that odd scent.

As he came closer to her, she did try to pull away only to yelp in pain while watching him closely. There was something calming about this human and the wolves stood by his side like he's an alpha. She glanced at the prince as he threw his little fit, though listening to everything they said, she calmed down enough to let this human help her out of the trap. That first step however practically floored her and she yelped again while laying down to lick the wound.

There was nothing but the pain as he worked on her leg, unable to see straight as the dizziness set in, hearing the pounding of her heart over their talking. Before she knew what was happening, he lifted her up and carried her off with them. Naturally she wanted to flee from his arms afraid of where he is taking her, though with the other wolves by his side and his scent, she remained calm. The motion of his walking didn't help the pain as he legs bounced with each step he took, eventually the pain overwhelmed her to the point of passing out.

They were all talking so loudly that it hurt her head, especially that little human child. For a short while her ears were pinned flat trying to block out some of the noise. Though, the deeper sleep too hold of her and within no time the noises were drowned out. Subconsciously she wanted to shift, to take care of her own leg and get away from here. Physically however, that would be impossible as the structure of the bones were much different. Also, they kept calling this little human Prince and he certainly acted like one.

No, it was best to just remain as a wolf. At least this one human is protecting her, if she did manage to shift, he might change his mind. When the wagon stopped, she soon felt him pick her up again and slowly opened her eyes just in time to see him walking back outside the barn. Another few moments their foot steps were walking off in the distance.

Groggily she sat up to look around, wincing at the pain in her leg, which if she was in her other form, it'd her arm. None the less, there's no doubt that it is broken. She figured that she's going to be a wolf for a while, she might as well act like one. With that, she started to lick at the bandage in an attempt to get to the wound, gnawing a little at the wood he used as splints. It was nice to get rid of all the noises for now though, she wanted to bite that kid again just because she can.

Through out the six hours he was gone, Kynthia slipped between sleeping and being awake. At times she did chew on the bindings as they started to itch after a while. The food and drink was very much appreciated since she hadn't ate much that day. Other times she did try to stand and test her leg out just to see if she could use it enough to get away. Unfortunately it was in fact broken and she can feel it swollen under the bandages.

When he came in to check on her again, her ears perked up at his soothing voice. Luckily in her wolf form, he couldn't see the blush glowing on her cheeks as he called her beautiful again. As he spoke mentally though, she allowed him access this one time and did hear what he had to say. However, this type of communication she never really did perfect and the link didn't last all that long.

As the night went on, she kept trying to think of a way to communicate with him. He seemed to genuinely care about her well being and if it wasn't for him, she'd probably be limping her way back to the elves. Or dead by now if the prince had his way with her. Kynthia laid there thinking of all the books she read, a few of her studies from a couple of the elder elves. Then smiled a wolfish smile.... Dreams... Visions... Another thing she hadn't quite perfected, yet always had fun with from time to time.

Kynthia closed her eyes and thought of him, focusing on his scent that lingered in the air, all four of her ears searching out any sounds he made. Her breed of wolf were more sensitive to sounds and scents that most were, another thing to thank the elves for. At first it wasn't really easy to hear him through all the walls between them, but he had a window open somewhere and she very faintly picked up on his breathing.

With some work she found the link he uses to speak with the wolves and focused in on that, being in wolf form actually made it easier. Slowly she started to manipulate his thoughts, realizing that he was already thinking of her, which again made this easier. In the vision she came up to him in wolf form, seemingly running on air like a ghost, in the process she would give him glimpses of her elven form as she ran. At one point she stopped running when she came up to his feet and she sat on her haunches, speaking only one word.

"Kynthia..."

Kynthia never did learn how to hold these kinds of links up for very long, even if he hadn't broken it, she would have lost it anyway. With a soft content sigh and a faint smile on her muzzle, she let herself fall back to sleep thinking that this time of healing will be a perfect time to practice. Her ears twitched when he came in and asked if that was her name, though she kept sleeping.

Her dreams were a bit odd and usual for her as they revolved around him in particular. Somehow she could see a life with him, one where she is happy and had healthy pups. However, the the dark side of those dreams crept in as she thought of the little bratling they called Prince. There was just something about him that Kynthia didn't like and in the dream, he had actually shot her.

The shot jerked her awake and in the process, her back paws reacted and tore the bandage to shreds. The fresh pain made her yelp and initially it startled her more thinking she actually had been shot. After a couple of moments to calm down and come back to her senses, she realized that she is safe. Still, that dream confused her something fierce, she couldn't see a life with a human.. not a life where one is her mate. Even if he is a special human that can speak to wolves.

The pain in her leg brought her attention down to it, seeing fresh blood that her own claws created. With a heavy sigh, she proceeded to lick at the wound to try and clean it up some as to not worry him.

While he spoke of his dream, she watched and listened very intently, taking the offered food. She actually liked how it tasted, the spices he used were unlike anything the elves would use. However, her wolf side did like the sound of fresh meat, she hasn't actually let her primal self go hunting in a while. Perhaps when she gets out of here, she'll allow the wild side free. Until then, she had to heal and let things ride out, hoping for the best.

She winced and whimpered while he worked on her leg, for the most part she held still for him. When he finished, she rested her head on his lap and licked his hand. Again she focused on what she knew in how the communication link works, it wasn't too different than the dreams. However, it did make it difficult for her while he is awake because his thoughts wouldn't be clear.

"Yes... I came to you in a dream.. Thank you for your help. I will not bite you and I do understand what you say... Sadly I can not keep this link up for long.. I wanted to thank you... Perrin."

The link lasted for a few seconds longer before she lost it again and lifted her head up to lick his cheek.

Kynthia smirked a little at his reaction, although there was a down side to that kind of reaction too. Watching him leave like he did frightened her, especially when taking the other two wolves. Setting her head down and ears lowered. *Great, now I have done it.. He's going to kill me now..* She gave a deep heavy sigh while listening for him.

When he did comeback though, her ears remained pinned and afraid of answering him. Thinking that she gave away too much and will give her to the prince. The thought that maybe he didn't understand her flashed in. Then he didn't act like that was the case. Kynthia kept silent for quite a few seconds, debating what kind of reaction her answer will create.

This time her eyes glowed softly as she focused on the link again, trying to make it last longer.

*It is very difficult to explain like this. However, I am both Elven and Wolf. I need to return to the elves.. I cannot heal myself in wolf form and I cannot change with a broken bone.... Also, it is not safe for you to keep me here.. Hunters will come for me and will hurt you... Can you take me to elves? Sir Perrin..*

She didn't know if he knew where elves are or not, then again, it might not matter if he decides to turn her in. There's no doubt on her mind that the prince will have a price on her head soon. If he hasn't already. For now kept her head laid down and ears back while expecting the worse. She also broke the link until he needed more answers.. IF he had more questions.

Looking over his expressions, she can easily tell that he did not believe her. Either that, he feared her more than she truly realized. There is no easy way to explain any of this, for her it is simply the way she is raised. Born as a wolf pup, raised as an elf the soul and heart of the wolf.. the end, pure and simple. Nothing to explain. Here she is having to explain that of which is impossible to explain in words. The best way is to show him and yet, she can't do that... for more reasons that just a broken bone.

"You have most likely signed your death just by helping me in front of that bratling prince of yours. You know just as well as I that he will not let this rest. What I am right now makes no difference, you said it yourself just now.... Whether I am elf there is a price on my head. As a wolf, there is a price. No matter what you may think of me.. My life rests in your hands. If you do return me to the elf city, I will assure your safety. That is the least I can do for your help."

She shook head as a sharp pain was felt between her eyes, reminding her of why she hated using the communication link spells. Closing her eyes and resting her head on her crossed paws to relax for a moment. Right now that is all she can do is relax and wait, it isn't like she can run off very easily. Although, she did turn one set of ears towards the forest and heard men screaming and yelling, proof that Perrin spoke the truth about them.

Kynthia raised her head to this other human and sneezed at the scent of whatever bath oils Gina uses. Though gave a curious look by cocking her head to the side when the cage opened. Freedom.... right there.. right at her paws... Even with a broken leg they knew she could at least limp her out of here. Again, they all also knew she wouldn't make it far by limping.

"He will be fine...."

Kynthia's head shook again as the piercing shot right through her temple. This human is all kind of worked up and was more difficult to keep the link. At least Perrin tried to have an open mind, made easy with his connection to the wolves. Even with him, it wasn't easy while he is awake.

"One more night... Then I leave..."

She honestly didn't know if she will be leaving or not, but hopefully it'll be enough for Gina to calm down and let her rest. If nothing else, Perrin will most likely not let her leave that easily knowing what is out there. There is no denying that she has considered leaving when he wouldn't know, it would be less danger for him if he didn't know where she ran off to. Or how long she had been gone.... None the less, she couldn't do that the person that is willing to risk his life helping her.

Kynthia listened to the story and felt the heartache within the girl before her. There wasn't much for her say, even if there was, Ginger took off before she could respond. Hurting anyone is the last thing she wanted to do. Honestly, she didn't know how she is hurting him now, other than turning his world upside down a little.

Not much that could be done about it now though. Knowing men, Perrin will hunt her down if she suddenly disappeared on him. She knew men did things like that and Perrin didn't seem much different from that. He had the vibe of truly wanting to protect her which would lead him to naturally hunt her down.

As time slipped by, Kynthia went into a deep sleep while thinking of what Ginger had to say. For some reason that made her think of a place she had once found years ago. She went a bit too far past the elven boarders that leads straight into the mountains. The wolf within her had picked up an extremely faint scent that made her keep running down a path that had been abandoned for years.

The path had been overgrown which made it difficult for Kynthia, even with her size and thick fur, the brush fought back with their thorns. Eventually the dreams path took her to sit in front of a beautiful cottage. The dream created it in the image she last seen it in, a bit run down but nothing a little love couldn't fix. Overgrown vines consuming the yard and were climbing along the wall of the building. After another moment or two she proceeded to walk closer and for some reason was thinking of Perrin and his sisters.

Kynthia was so deep in the dream that when she thought of Perrin, some of that dream accidentally opened up to him. It gave the feel that she subconsciously wanted him to see it and wanted to try and get them there. Subconsciously, She felt bad for everything and wanted to pay them back somehow... They all deserved a life of peace and away from man made laws.

Kynthia knew this would happen she listened to all the yelling outside, sadly her skills are limited and she wouldn't be able to take on all the guards. Still, she had to do something and couldn't leave Perrin here to defend his home alone. Ginger was trying to urge Kynthia to come out of the cage, yet to Ginger, the white wolf appeared to very stubborn.

Reluctantly, Kynthia's eyes started to glow as she began to shift into her elven form. Excruciating pain shot through her arm as the bones shifted from wolf to human, luckily she kept the scream down to a deep low growl. Wasting no time though, she held the broken arm and casted a quick heal on it and more pain shot through while the bones snapped back into place and healed.

"Oh great.... damn it.. not again...Thought I had that figured out..."

Kynthia looked down to notice her clothes had gone into that great void that the shifting tends to do. With a heavy sigh, there wasn't anything she can do now other than be a naked elf running wild through the woods. Luckily she had her bow and other enchanted things to help her out as she looked over to Gingers purely shocked state. Unfortunately Kynthia had to slap her and bring her back to reality..

"Get Perrin and try to keep up with me.... I promise all of you will be safe... but you have to keep up..."

Sadly Kynthia really didn't know this part of the woods and would be going in there blindly.. but she had to do something. There is no diffusing this situation, the bratling prince will just send more goons out until he gets her head on a spike and her fur under his feet.

"If we get separated, you two hide and I promise I will find you and I will bring you to safety...."

With that, Kynthia looked out towards the men riding up in the distance, she let loose an arrow and it have landed just at their horses feet. In seconds the men were yelling and cursing as they were entangled by a bunch of thorny, poisonous roots that blinded them. Then she ran out side, naked and in all her glory...

"If you want me... Come get me...."

With that, she took off running towards the forest, giving Perrin and Ginger the direction of where she went before she shifted back into wolf form and vanished into the trees. She knew those men would be on her tail in a heartbeat, though little did they know once she was in the trees, she started setting up traps of her own.

Kynthia heard the fighting behind and soon the yelping of the wolves. When she glanced back she saw the whole scene, yet couldn't do much as she had her own problems. The men were gaining ground and she had to think quickly. Shifting into elven form, she placed a sleeping spell on one of the trees and climbed it. No sooner after finding a spot, she vanished from sight completely.

The most the horsemen would see is the end trail of wolf prints, although they didn't seem to be paying attention that. Their horses stomping out the trail as they ran past. Yet, they stopped and started yelling while trying to figure out where the wolf went. One of the horses triggered a trap that scared it and threw the man off its back as it took off running.

Kynthia took no hesitation in killing him with a very poisonous arrow that turned his blood black. Naturally the other three men freaked out and she had to move quickly while vanishing again in the process. Two more shots killed the two that were circling around the already dead man.

The fourth man however, hid himself and watched for where she would be and grinned after her last shot was made. Unfortunately for him, she had the advantage of the trees, although it isn't anything a spell of his own can't fix. With a wave of his hand, she felt the bursting push of wind knocking her out of the tree. The thud to the ground knocked the air from her lungs as she tried to see what happened.

When he approached her, sword drawn and ready to strike, she kicked hard right between his legs. His armor hurt the top of her barefoot, yet he went down all the same cussing at her. With his own sword, she drove it into his chest without any hesitation at all.

Afterwards, she gathered herself up looking around to see if any others were coming after her. With a bit of hesitation, wondering if Perrin would be upset with her, Kynthia made her way back to where he sat. She remained in wolf form, with her ears lowered, some blood on her fur from her last kill.

When she reached Perrin, she kept some distance between them in case he started cussing her out. Though she did lay down in a submissive way, unsure of what to expect at this point. At the same time, she knew they didn't have much time to linger here either. They will be back and they will do worse.

"I can... revive... her if you allow me too..."

Kynthia softly offered some kind of amends for the trouble she has caused.

He needed a distraction and she watched as he busted down the door to his home. Looking between him and the dead wolf, she contemplated on what to do. In her mind there is no option and it would take him mind off going after the prince blindly. Carefully she came up to the wolf, quietly whispering into the wolf's ear and kissed the tip of her nose to wake her.

Perrin kind of surprised her by placing the coat over her shoulders and she held it closed as if realizing she stood there nude for the first time. Her long hair is just as white as the wolf fur, though it had a blue streak down the right side, she had the eyes of the wolf. Only in the elf form they were golden yellow instead of blue.

"This isn't quite how I imagined to show myself to you.. However, I am Kynthia.. the wolf that you saved."

She stretched a hand out in greeting, sadly it had blood all over it and she quickly withdrew it, kneeling down to the grass to wipe it off.

"Anyway.. We cannot stay here. Not after this, my father will protect you and the wolves if you wish to join me. It is clear to me that I made a mistake of venturing out on my own. Didn't even make it two days on my own..."

Kynthia sighed as she knelt the rest of the way to the ground, disappointed herself for how things have turned out. Almost wishing she had snapped the bratlings neck in two and let the forest have him.

"I will help get your sister back, this isn't the time nor place to go in there blindly though. If you wish it however, I will be on my way and you never have to see me again."

Kynthia growled very deeply as he walked off, a growl that only a wolf could ever understand. Although coming from her, it would make any wolf in her path submit to a growl like that.

"Why are humans so foolish...."

With that, she went in after him with determination in her eyes and for a moment she stood in the door watching him. Seeing that he is very serious about this fool of a plan that ran through that thick head of his. It's just as foolish as his first plan of running in there with sword in hand screaming like a mad man.

"Please, forgive me and do not hate me for this... but it is for your own damn good.. Human..."

Before he could question it, she whispered something into his ear, an ancient languish that is unknown to humans and most of her own kind. Her eyes glowed for a brief moment and she kissed him to finish the spell. Kissing him hard until he submitted to the kiss, forcing him to submit to her as the spell took hold.

"You will come with me... Perrin.. And you will not question it either.. Kiss me if you understand."

Kynthia seriously hated to use this spell, she hated making people be her little puppet. In this case however, it was needed and he honestly left her little choice. He still had his own thoughts and can still make rational choices. Yet, until she releases him from that spell, he has to obey her commands. She could make him strip down and cluck like a chicken while dancing on his toes and he'd do it.

"Good, Get your things and lets all get out of here now..."

Kynthia smiled as his actions confirmed he is within her control. Naturally she would love to do more with him, but that is honestly the first time she's ever kissed anyone. Also, he's human.. She didn't come out here to find a human for a mate. However, his connection with the wolves did intrigue her.

"We are not running away. We need to regroup and come up with an actual plan that will actually get her returned safely. My father is really good at retrieving people that are caught in the middle of foolish drama."

Although, her actions caused this foolish drama, even if it was an accident.... It is her fault all the same. She was told to stay clear of the humans and what does she do... brings home a stray...

"I saw a cave a little ways in the forest before I ran into the humans. We can make camp there. Then it is a days trip to my homeland. Since we hand to leave our dinner behind, I will hunting once we get settled in."

She looked up to the sky to see the sun fading out rather quickly which mean they will reach the cave just as it gets dark. Something that she didn't like, yet they had no real choice. There were at least night creatures she can hunt down, small game, but more than enough to fill their bellies.

"I apologize for all the drama I have caused you and your family. If that bratling hadn't tried reaching for me, I wouldn't have bitten him.... not that it matters... Humans have a thing for killing and destroying it seems."

Kynthia sighed a bit as they walked on, pulling his coat tighter as she shivered. With all the excitement she had forgotten to get dressed. Without the fur of her wolf, the chills came rather quickly. The idea of shifting came to her, yet it is easier to talk to him this way.

"How do you have the skill to speak with the wolves?"

They were almost to the cave she was heading towards when things felt out of place. She felt eyes on them, a familiar scent in the air and the overall vibe in the atmosphere had changed. There were too many other scents in the air to really pin point exactly who it was that followed them. One of the disadvantages of being in elven form instead of wolf. Although her senses are still stronger than humans are.

However, after seeing who it was that found them, Kynthia rolled her eyes with some disapproval. Then again, he can summon portals for multiple people where she couldn't. Her ports were mostly for her only and she rarely used them. Either way, she had to laugh a little at his questions, only to give Perrin a confused look after he spoke.

Initially she questioned if he had been speaking her language this whole time. With everything that has been happening, she could have easily missed something as simple as that. Though as she thought about it more, it really didn't matter and this isn't the best of places to be in.

"Never mind who or what he is. This is not the place for such conversations. All you need to know right is that he and the wolves are under my protection. I will be accountable for his actions. I have caused much ..... damage.. to his life. I need to talk to father because there are things that are beyond my ability to fix."

She glanced back over to Perrin with some sadness in her eyes, she truly did feel horrible for the mess she has caused him. Though shaking her head, she turned back to her brother, seeing the doubt and caution that filled his expressions.

"I know this is asking a lot from you, but can you please summon a portal for us. I will accept any punishment there is for bringing him home. Yet, it is my fault and I aim to help him with a situation that is putting someones life at risk. I need to speak with father as soon as possible..."

When the spell broke off Perrin, Kynthia didn't have time to be shocked... a little irritated is more like it. With a heavy sigh she turned to face Perrin and he could see the desperation in her eyes. Also pretty irritated that this trip isn't going the way she had hoped it would.

"You are not causing any problems. If you go back there now, they will have both of you. Do you honestly think they will hand over your sister without you giving them something in return? They do not want you.. They want me. If they catch you as well, they will use you as bait to get to me. Is that something you wish to happen?"

She saw the sadness and pain deep in his eyes, the determination and need to go back to get his sister. It also pained her to know that she is the cause of his pain. Then glaring down at the wolf that bit him, shaking her head with some disappointment.

"I would have released him when we were safe silly wolf...."

Looking back up to Perrin and with a calmer tone she spoke again, still on the agitated side, yet with more control than what she had moments ago.

"Anyway, you are not my prisoner. Do what you will. Just know that I am trying to help you. We can get her back the smart way. If do you come with me, you will be under my protection, you will have food and a bed to sleep in for tonight. Just listen to your heart and do what your gut tells you. If going back there blindly, most likely landing into a trap is what your heart tells you.. Then by all means, go. But if it tells you otherwise... Then you are welcome to my home and there will be no trouble."

Kynthia took a few steps back away from Perrin and he can see her start to shift after she handed her bow off to her brother. She was done arguing with him, was done having to force him to come with her and most likely making him feel like a prisoner. That wasn't her intentions at all and she thought was doing something good, only to realize she was making it worse.

"Either way, You will be my guest, not a prisoner if you decide to return with my brother. As for me, I am heading home with or without you. It has been a very long day for all of us, we all need food and rest. If I see you tomorrow, then we shall talk more. If not... I wish you luck."

With that, she shifted fully into her wolf form and started running off towards home. She knew if he decided to stay, the other elves and her brother would make sure he got there safe. Granted she might get an earful later, but he is under her protection and any harm that comes to him will be dealt with. Right now though, Kynthia was too frustrated and needed to run off some of this stress. She did hope that Perrin would make the right decision though and go with her brother.

Kynthia did hear him though was too frustrated with everything to care. Here she is trying to help him, trying to right the things she had done wrong with him and he keeps refusing left and right. She could have used her own portal to just go home, yet running felt good in that moment. The harder she ran, the more it relieved the frustration. She didn't want to go home feeling so upset, let alone remain in his presence without having the need to slap him. He helped her, why couldn't she repay him?

Kynthia growled deeply as she ran harder and faster towards home when all the sudden a net was tossed her. The net quickly got caught under her paws and forced her to the ground as she tripped. The pain shot through the arm that she had broken earlier as it was the paw that got tangled first. Luckily it didn't break again, just shocked the nerves into thinking it refreshed the break.

The net had some kind of magic barrier on it, preventing her from shifting and even if she did shift, she was half naked and without her bow. Not that her bow would do her any good being trapped in a net. Though she did bite hard at the first hand that reached for her. The orc cussed at her and punched her square in the head to knock her out cold.

When she woke up again, she was still being dragged and the rocks were ripping right through her fur to scratch along her skin. She was still really groggy and her head pounded from the punch, though she tried to cut through the rope with her claws. Gnawing at the rope with her teeth, doing everything she could to rip through the netting.

"Try all you wish .. wolf... there is no getting out of that net. Your kind created it.... Elven rope... best stuff ever created."

The orc laughed as he kicked her hard in the ribs while the other orc kept dragging her back to their camp.

As Kynthia woke up, she heard the sounds of frighten animals, the only scent that filled the air is the scent of death and blood. She wouldn't have been able to smell her brother or Perrin as death overwhelmed her senses. Sight came last as she heard the axe making contact with the block, fresh blood pooling on the ground next to her nose. With wide eyes and sheer fear she caught sight of the hand reaching down to her next. Naturally she was preparing to bite that hand until an arrow shot through his neck.

A moments hesitation coursed through her in fear, though she watched as the other orcs took off in rage. Quickly she scrambled to get out of the net and freeing herself to run into the forest. When it was clear on her end, Kynthia shifted into her elven form and quickly climbed a tree. She saw where the party of orcs ran off to and figured that is where her brother must be. First things first though.....

She used the vines to rescue the remaining animals, setting them free and making certain they were in the clear before she proceeded. Using the fire the orcs had, she made the flames whip out at the tents and what remained of their food supply. There wasn't any time to go snooping around in the camp for the orcs will get bored of chasing her brother. It was best to just burn the camp down altogether and not worry about what loot is in there.

A few orcs saw the flames and started to head back to the camp quickly in hopes of saving the camp. There was about five that returned from what Kynthia saw, using poisonous roots she ensnared their legs so they couldn't move. The flames whipped at them and their howls of pain filled the air as all five caught on fire. After that it was time to move, she shifted into wolf form and used her stealth as she went after her brothers direction.

Kynthia had a lot of stress and anger built up, so killing a few orcs at this point seemed like a good release. She didn't see how many there were, doubting that she will get them all, but she is certainly going to get as many as possible. When she saw a few more running back, about three this time, toward the five that were now falling to the ground in ashes. Kynthia shifted quickly and rooted them with the same roots she used on the guards. Their thorns pierced their flesh, the vines crawling up their struggling bodies. One almost escaped as his axe cut through the vines, yet he was bleeding and wouldn't make it far with the poison.

Kynthia kept doing this until she reached her brothers party, smiling when she saw Perrin was still with them. There were about ten orcs chasing them, she wouldn't have been able to root all ten of them, but she did manage to get at least six. Racing up to where her brother is, she surprised him by snatching his daggers from him and went after the remaining four that she couldn't root. Surprising one orc as she suddenly appeared from behind him and sliced his throat just before it reached for Perrin.

Kynthia was practically in rage mode as she proceeded to charge at Perrin. In her eyes all she saw was a human and not perrin. Though as he pinned her down, she instantly snapped back to full reality of who he is and lust suddenly filled her. However, she couldn't understand why she wanted to pounce him in other ways, more than anything she wanted to kiss him.

Then the moment was lost as they stood up and she brushed off the dirt from laying on the ground. Within seconds, the moment completely ruined as the two of them started arguing again about what to do. Finally she grabbed them both by their ears, painfully pinching them.

"Listen... damn it... We are going to the elven city, I will figure out what to do after I get cleaned up, food in my gut, clothes on my back and fresh weapons in my hands and well rested... Until then.. You two shut it!!"

She let Perrin's ear go, though she kept a strong hold on her brothers pointy ear and jerked it down to where he had to bend over.

"You will be considerate of MY guest!! You have no idea where his sister is, if she breathes or is spiked on a wall... You will apologize to him and you will port us all back home! Got Raeyan?"

She let his ear go roughly, causing him to reach up and rub the pain out of it as he glared at her. Though he couldn't say anything since in reality she did have ruling over him and Perrin is her guest. She turned to Perrin, pointing her finger at him.

"And you.... I have been nothing but respectful to you, I am offering you shelter and food. I plan to uphold my promise. I can do so many things to you, but I won't. I know you have no reason to trust me, but the least you can do is respect my hospitality instead of being rude about it."

She glared back at her brother Raeyan and demanded that he create the portal so they can all go back to the elven city. There is much that needs to be reported and she isn't going to do it half naked and starving.

"I don't forget anything Brother.... Both of you are treating me like a kid and demanding things of me that I've already said I would take care of."

Kynthia grabbed the robe and was putting it on when she noticed the wolves and his expression, more than likely talking to each other. Then the blast echoing off in the direction of where his home is, just another thing to pile onto her list.

"Yea, let's get out of here. We have lingered here far too long as it is."

She sighed while taking her bow and realized even if she did have it with her, there wouldn't have been enough arrows to deal with that many orcs. One more thing she needed to resupply on. It did upset her with the way everyone had been treating her and for the rest of the trip she pretty much kept silent. However, that silence also allowed her time to come up with a plan of her own, having doubts that her father would actually help a human. Of course she couldn't tell Perrin about it because he would want to follow her.

When they arrived at the city of Ellsmera. Kynthia didn't really look back to see if Perrin was following or not, she figured he would be though. She paid no attention to her brother either as she just kept on walking to her little corner of the world. However, she did give Perrin a bit of a tour on the way, taking the long way back to her place.

He would also notice normal wolves and a pack of black dire wolves running around and or sleeping. Though they weren't pets, none had leashes or were chained, they were all there willingly and clearly happy. Showing the beautiful gardens and waterfalls, at one point taking him to where the royal tree where meetings are held. Also where her parents and brother sleeps.

After a while she did start talking to him again as she kept showing him things, talking about some of the history. Though she didn't go into great depths of all the stories, mainly because she didn't want to bore him too much and also she did want to get home. Kynthia took him past the main city along some other trails that lead to a series of houses built into the mountain side.

She went the last one, which happened to be the biggest one and crossed the bridge that lead to the door. With a few words and a touch to the door, it opened up for her and she went inside without hesitation. Setting her bow off to the side on a mantel, she went straight upstairs to a loft area and proceeded to start a bath for herself. After getting it started, she went to go peek over teh railing to see what Perrin and his wolves were doing.

"Well... go on.. make yourself at home. Explore, eat, clean up.. whatever. You will find an extra bed around the corner over there."

She pointed towards the kitchen area where it appeared to go off into another room. There were no doors and it was much more spacious than what the outside made it appear.

Kynthia rolled her eyes and growled when realizing she was talking to herself, then just outside she heard the deep growls of the wolves. Quickly ran out the door and took to the trees to get a better view of what is happening. Being here in the city she can hear the wolves clearly, hearing the words that they were taunting and it caused him to draw his axe. That worried her more than anything and she almost jumped down to stop him. That is until the elder came out, it was then Kynthia jumped down between the Elder and Perrin.

"This is not the time nor place for such questions. There are many here that can hear you, it is not safe for him as it is. If he wishes to speak with you in more privacy later.. then he can. For now, He has been through too much. Allow him to rest. Grandmother.."

Kynthia glared at the rest of the pack, shifting into her wolf form instantly, being so much bigger than most of them, even standing taller than the ancient one. She was preparing to put a few of them that threatened him into their place. Although she knew they wouldn't attack him, if they did, they would be severely punished and not just by her. Kynthia growled very deeply when looking at a few particular wolves that sat behind him.

"He brings you no harm.. How dare you threaten him!! You know the laws here... No violence is allowed within the city. You hurt him or his wolves, you will be banished.. Do not tempt me right now for I am not in the mood!!"

Perrin heard her very clearly and without the pain that it used to cause as she glared at some of the younger pups. Normally she has a ton of respect for the Elder, truthfully she has all the respect and love in the world for her. However, the other wolves were the ones being disrespectful and Kynthia has had enough for one day and her patience is already hanging on a thread.

"I shall bring him to you later.. Or you may visit him at my home... But if these whelps lay a claw or fang on him, I will protect him."

The Elder looked at Kynthia curiously, considering her actions and smiled inwardly as Kynthia is acting exactly like a protective mate would act. Though the Elder bowed her head in respect, glancing back over at Perrin and his wolves.

"No need to get all puffed up little one. He has a familiar scent is all, I was merely curious about where he came from. Go and rest.... Perrin. We shall speak again very soon."

Truthfully Kynthia didn't know why she is acting so protective over him. For the most part she kept blaming it on having her nerves all worked up. Anymore, she started to wonder if it was something else, taking a curious glance back at him she wondered why the wolves were so curious about him. Though shaking her head, knowing he is human and she knew it would be a huge issue bringing him here.

Kynthia snapped at the one that made the rude comment and he only glared at her with those green eyes as Kynthia walked behind Perrin. Though she did it more to make certain he was safe getting back to her place, however, it might appear as if she is herding him. Of course she isn't thinking about it like that considering he could easily be in danger here since he's human. Once they were safe in her place, she went straight to the kitchen and grabbed a tray, filling it with a variety of food.

She did take her time to allow him to do some exploring if he wished while watching the two wolves curl up in the spare room. After preparing the tray, she put a lid on it and went to search for Perrin wondering if he is hungry or not. Grinning when seeing his clothes off to the side in a pile on the floor. Setting the tray off to the side for a moment, picking up the clothes and taking them to the washroom. With a bit of spell casting, the clothes were being taken care of, including his boots and smiled thinking he'd appreciate it. Or at least she hopes he will.

Going back to the tray now that she knows where he most likely is and stripped out of the robe before wading into the water. It felt like heaven to her and soothed over all her sore muscles, instantly healing all the wounds she had. Having to cast a little spell over the tray as she stood in the waterfall for a moment to savor it washing over her. The last few days washed away like they never happened. Though she had to giggle softly when seeing his expression as she came through the other side of the water.

"I hope you are enjoying the bath. I also hope you are hungry since I brought all this food with me."

She smiled softly and set the tray down on the side of the pool a few feet away from him while lifting the lid up. Though she did frown slightly and avoided his eyes for the moment.

"I must apologize for my attitude today. I am normally not this.... flustered... It's just been a frustrating day. I guess one can say I woke up on the wrong side of the bed."

She smirked and filled a couple glasses with some fairly strong mead. Honestly, she had no real excuse for her attitude other than the feeling that no one is appreciating her. Yet, she couldn't really say that to him as it would sound very rude after everything he has done for her.

"I left here to search for something... rather personal... Instead I ruined your whole world. I will return your sister to you and I will provide you a new home. After that, you will never have to see me again. This I can promise you."

She paused for a moment with his question while seeing him relax a little more and gave a faint smile. Placing a hand on his chest she pushed lightly until he was sitting down again and she stepped between his legs. Rather a bold move even for her standards, however, she wanted to let him know that he isn't intruding and that she isn't all that shy about being nude. Although, she fed him some fruit this time and took a drink of mead for herself while using that time to consider her answer.

"Truthfully..... I went out of the city to basically find myself. I needed to get away for awhile, however it appears leaving isn't in the cards for me."

She sighed and stepped away from him to put her arms over the ledge of the pool while playing with cup. Those urges from earlier crept back in and she didn't want him to see the lust in her eyes. She had to turn away from him... He isn't meant to be hers.... He is just a human...

"I also went out to hunt for a mate. There are no others here in the city like me that I can take as a mate. I need a pureblood to carry on the bloodline."

After saying that though, turning her head away from him and thought about her own words thinking that finding a mate would be hopeless. Then she smiled weakly and stood back up while taking another sip of the wine and reaching over to get another chunk of bread. However, she had to reach over him to get to the tray which allowed her breast to graze over his chest lightly. It did sends sparks through her considering she's never had skin on skin contact like that, yet she ignored it for now as if it was nothing.

"Anyway, enough about me... I have a nice place I would like to show you later if you are willing. I go there quite often to get away from here. But, I think you will like it.. It will be my way of making all of this up to you."
