Bill Anderson felt like he had it all. He could not imagine things being any better. He had a job that he loved and a home that he shared with the woman of his dreams. He could not imagine anything ruining everything that he had obtained and built for himself. He was truly happy, something he was not sure would happen for him in the past.

New Haven was a great little town, one that Bill thought would be perfect to raise a family. After college he was lucky to get hired at the local high school as a History teacher. It came during a rough period for him, one where his personal life was in ruins. He had gone to college to become a teacher, and while at college he did more partying then studying. Sure, that was the normal life of a college student, however in his adventures he met a girl. To him she was amazing, however, it turned out she was the wrong kind of girl. The relationship was not solid, it was one built on partying and alcohol. It was also the type of relationship that, if Bill would have been serious with himself, would have never lasted. The girl that he got caught up in was not one to settle down with or even be serious with. It was a relationship doomed to end badly, and it did during their senior year.

Bill moved away after graduation, needing to start over and build his life back up. New Haven gave him that opportunity. He was offered a position at the local high school and decided to set down some roots. He quickly lost himself in his work, focusing on bettering his career. Along the way he made some new friends and rented an apartment.

Three years into his career as a teacher, he met someone. One of his friends introduced him to Jessica and he fell for her. She was everything he was looking for in a woman. She came from a good family and was a great person. She was a former college athlete, running track in school. She was tall, with long blonde hair, brown eyes and toned runners legs. She was thin with an athletic body, not very curvy. She was different in every way from the mistakes he made in college. They hit it off quickly and they fell for each other.

Two years into their relationship they were engaged. Jessica was supportive of Bill and they quickly became the couple that did everything together. Soon they were buying their first home together in a nice neighborhood in New Haven. It was one where they both saw themselves raising a family and living forever. Marriage was not a surprise to either of them. They both wanted to spend their lives together and they had a nice ceremony with family and friends. How could life have been any better for Bill?

College seemed like forever ago. It was ten years now, he was 32, married to what he imagined was the perfect woman, living in a dream house that he could see raising a family in, and working a job that he loved. He was truly happy and did not see anything that could derail that happiness.

The school year was about to start again, and Bill was excited, as he always was, to get his classes and meet his students. This year he would also be coaching the Varsity basketball team at New Haven High for the fifth season. He really had become a big part of the schools culture. Most of his classes this year would be seniors and juniors, which he loved. He enjoyed helping those students make it to the next level of education.

It was a Wednesday, the week before school was to begin. Bill was at New Haven High School setting up his classroom. He always would get his room ready, organizing it the way he liked and making sure he had all he needed. There were a few teachers in the building, but not many. Bill was wearing a pair of khaki cargo shorts with boxers under and a belt. He had on athletic sneakers with a New Haven High School basketball t-shirt on. He had no idea that this school year could potentially change his new found perfect life forever.

Madi Alvarez was turning over a new leaf. Gone were the days of hustling to make ends meet, of partying until the sun came up, and hopping from one bed to another. Well, the first part of that was true. She traded in her drumsticks for a steady paycheck and summers off. That right, Mad Madi was finally putting that fancy music theory degree to good use in a classroom. A high school classroom, because there was no way anybody would let the curvy, heavily tattooed, ex-rocker anywhere near impressionable minors. Technically high school kids were minors but music was an elective that the the silverspooners of New Haven High could choose not to take. Between all the boozing and running amook in college she found time to minor in theater as well, making her a two for one bonus for the "tight" school budget. Come September, New Haven High would have a new Music/Drama teacher and Mad Madi oddly excited about the prospects of her new life.

She'd had a rough go of it from birth. Born to an alcoholic mother and a ghost for a father, little Madi Alvarez raised herself until her fabulous Uncle Toni took her in when she was 11. Despite all his "motherly" doting and poor attempt at structure, Madi was a terror who sought out the wrong crowd. "The bad kids are more fun," she told him once after being brought home by the police. That's when Uncle Toni got the brilliant idea to put his rambunctious niece into music lessons, but he allowed her to choose the instrument. Of course the consummate troublemaker chose the drums and after only a few lessons she was hooked.

By the time Madi made it to high school she taught herself guitar and bass but she never gave up on the drums. And she got smart about the business of having fun. She started counting the days she skipped so not to risk getting held back for truancy, calculated the minimum amount of work she had to do not to fail, and crammed for tests because you can't flunk a kid with a C average. But a funny thing happened while she schemed to skate by, Madi realized she was actually a good student when she put her mind to it and she graduated with a respectable 3.5 GPA. Coupled with her talent behind the kit, Madi Alvarez won herself a college scholarship. It wasn't a full ride and came with GPA requirements but she promised Uncle Toni that she wouldn't flunk out. She didn't say anything about graduating but she did that too, and had a blast doing it. Broke a few hearts. Played in a few bands, even went on tour for a little while after graduation and for a while things were looking up for the little girl with an addict for a mother and a ghost for a father.

But of course it didn't last. The troublemaker in her wouldn't allow for that. After sleeping with one too many bandmates, playing music for a living got to be difficult. The partying got out of hand and two years ago Madi found herself in rehab after an accidental oxy overdose. The booze she could handle. Pot, not a big deal. The opiates though, they were her downfall and at 30 years old Mad Madi Alvarez decided it was time to calm down a little. She gave up on being a rock star and decided to put her love of music to more positive use. After a year of giving lessons six days a week, Madi was making enough to move out of Uncle Toni's house and into her own apartment. It was only one bedroom but it was hers and hers alone. No roommates, no shady boyfriends. Just hers. Six months after that she got an odd call from the New Haven School Board about filling a vacancy in their Music Department. Turned out she had been teaching one of Assistant Superintendent's daughter drums for the better part of a year and the little girl loved her. The father was more impressed that Madi could teach an 8-year-old to drum like Chad Smith while insisting that she listen to Buddy Rich, Steve Gad, Bill Bruford and the like to hone her skills.

That was the beginning of Ms. Madeline Alvarez. Before the interview, she dyed her hair a less aggressive shade of black and took out all her facial piercings. There was nothing she could do about her ear gauges but she tossed all the ones emblazoned with pot leaves just in case. Nor could she do anything about the tattoos. All the raunchy ones where in places no student would see anyway so she held her head high in the interview, despite her nerves. She turned up the charm and wore the most demure outfit the local thrift shop had to offer. Downplayed her faults, but didn't avoid them and won them over with an impromptu jam session around the conference table. The job was hers. Complete with benefits and vacation pay. If she lasted five years she would be eligible for tenure and Madi made that her new goal.

She decided to embrace this new stage in her life. This new role as Educator. Shaper of young minds. She couldn't wait to decorate her classroom, to meet her new students. Her new coworkers, she never really had those before and it made her a little nervous but made a vow not to sleep with anyone before the second semester. Well, at least until Thanksgiving break. Turning over a new leaf didn't mean she would become a different person. She still had needs, but she would satisfy them with restraint. And discretion.

Needless to say, she was anxious to get her new life started. She dressed conservatively but relaxed in jeans that hugged her curves and a loose fitting v-neck that only hinted at the idea of cleavage. Her make-up was light, her long dark hair pulled up in a messy bun. She didn't go anywhere new without her lucky converses. They'd seen better days, the skull and cross bone design was barely visible anymore but she refused to give them up. It was days like the today when she needed them most. Madi was at the new school bright and early the last Wednesday of summer break. After a quick visit with the principal to get her keys and student roster, Madi was off to spruce up her new home away from home. She had two boxes full of posters and knickknacks to mark the space as hers while giving her students the vaguest sense of who she was outside of school. Unfortunately her new home away from home was bigger than she anticipated and after walking down the same hallway twice, Madi had to admit she was lost. She dropped her boxes and head to the first open door she found.

"Sorry to interrupt but I can't seem to find my classroom," she said after a quick knock on the door frame. "Name's Madi Alvarez, I'm the new...holy shit! Billy is that you?!" Madi immediately put her hand over her mouth. Swearing on the first day, that was not a good way to make a first impression. But it wasn't exactly a first impression when the person you're meeting has seen you naked. When you consider that person the one that got away. Well, maybe not "the one" but Bill Anderson was good to her and she treated him like shit. He loved her and she was't in the right space to receive it. But she was different now. Well, maybe not so different. Even as she spied his wedding band, Madi was already giving up her vow.

It had been a typical preparation day for Bill Anderson. He liked to make his classroom his own, and today his plan was to do so. He was busy hanging posters on the wall with some motivational quotes, mixed with some posters of some of his favorite basketball players. He liked to relate to his students and he felt like the posters helped to create a friendly environment for the students. As he put up his last poster of Michael Jordan, he smiled to himself. He looked around the room and was pleased with how the walls looked. Now to tackle his desk, and finish up with the student section in the back of the room where his students would turn in their homework.

He moved over to the desk and began to set up his computer. He was so caught up in his set up that he did not notice the teacher moving around in the hallway. It was actually not until he heard the knock at his door that he even looked up. As he heard the voice talk about not being able to find her classroom he just smiled. He figured she was a new teacher and was willing to help. At first glance, she looked familiar, but he couldn't quite place his finger on where he recognized her from. That is, until she mentioned her name being, "Madi Alvarez."

Madi Alvarez, Bill's ex-girlfriend from college. He couldn't believe his eyes as he sat at his desk looking at her. Calling her just his ex-girlfriend was a stretch. Madi was not just your typical ex-girlfriend. No, Madi was the girl who sent Bill down a path he never knew existed. To say that Madi was the wrong girl was an understatement. She was the girl that Bill fell for. She roped him in and then took advantage of how much he had cared for her. Sure, Bill knew she was not one to be tame or tied down. At first he did not even want that, however, she knew what buttons to push. She had him wrapped around her finger and she knew it. She was everything that a mother would warn her son about, and Bill fell into her trap.

To be honest, she was the one that forced Bill to take a step back from relationships and focus on himself. He couldn't believe just how twisted she made his mind. There were times in college where he wanted to break it off with her, yet she would just pull him back in. It took him a long time before he finally broke her spell and was rid of her. However, her impact had lasted until he met Jessica. He was now happy, and as he sat shocked to see her, deep down inside, he was glad to see that she seemed to turn her life around and find a stable job.

As she swore and covered her mouth, he began to laugh. "Madi Alvarez..... that is really you huh?" He said as he stood up, looking down at her. He walked over, smiling. "Wow, how long as it been? How are you?" He was interested, he was confident in his relationship with Jess and right now was acting as if she had no power over him because deep down inside, he didn't think she did. "Wait.... are you teaching here now? ," he asked as he stood in front of her. His mind racing in a million different directions.

He remembered her alright. She saw that brief moment of horror wash over his face the moment her looked at her. He recovered quickly though and Madi was glad for that. College in general was a blur but she remembered a good majority of their relationship and there wasn't much for her to be proud of, but she was glad he seemed to be over. At least enough to marry someone else.

"Madi Alvarez..... that is really you huh?"[/I

Mad Madi would have called bullshit at that feigned nonchalance but Madi wasn't mad anymore so she smiled and effected an exaggerated curtsy. One foot crossed in front of the other as she bent her knees in the most graceful plié she could muster. "No more facial jewelry, my hairs one reasonable color and I've put on a few pounds but yeah Billy...it's me," she said grinning as he made his way over to her. "The world is just way too small sometimes."

"Wow, how long as it been? How are you? Wait.... are you teaching here now?"

The sheer disbelief in his face was laughable and Madi wasn't sure if it was from the job or the location. Either way, she couldn't help having a little fun at his expense. Nothing malicious, just a little innocent teasing between coworkers. "Come on Billy, you know how long it's been," she said with a little smirk and reach touch his arm, fingers gripping his bicep a moment before she looked up into his eyes again. "New Haven High's newest music and freshman drama teacher," she reached into her back pocket for the little zippered pouch she kept her business card in and handed him. "I've been teaching the kid drums to the assistant superintendent's daughter for the last year or so, and they offered me a job. I'm still taking students if you know anybody...anyway...Principal Garret...well I guess I can call him Steve...Steve gave me keys to 307 and gave me directions but you know I'm not good with that kind of stuff. Mind giving me a hand for..."

Madi stopped short of the "old time's sake" because if she were Billy and someone who treated her as badly as she had him asked for help, the hand she offered would have been a fist. Billy wasn't that type of guy but Madi didn't want to take any chances, and if she were being honest, she was a little embarrassed of who she was back then. She was different and wanted to show him so, but she couldn't keep from checking him out. It wasn't just his beard that filled out nicely over the years. He had always been nice to look at but now he looked like a man, a man she would have trouble not sleeping with.

"No more facial jewelry, my hairs one reasonable color and I've put on a few pounds but yeah Billy...it's me"

Bill could not help but laugh at her comment. It was definitely Madi Alvarez. The same smart ass personality that he used to enjoy in college, he couldn't forget that sarcasm anywhere. He grinned at her as he moved closer. The mention of her gaining a few pounds made him look her over a bit. He shook his head, "Well.... if that is gaining a few pounds I wish I was that lucky, you look great Madi...." he said kindly.

"Come on Billy, you know how long it's been"

She was right, 100 percent right to be honest. He absolutely knew exactly how long it has been. How could he forget? She was the girl that almost ruined relationships for him. However, he was not going to hold that against her anymore. He moved on, finally, and was happy with the life that he had built with his wife Jessica. He smiled, "Well, however long it has been it is good to see you..." he said softly. He was being polite, but he did feel good that he could feel this comfortable around her. If he would have ran into her before he met Jess he would have been a wreck.

He listened to her talk about being the new music and drama teacher and he nodded. She used her talents, he was happy for her. He always though she had a ton of potential and he was very happy that she had found her niche. As she offered him her card, he smiled at her. He looked down at it, impressed at how professional it was. "Well, if I ever end up having kids, maybe I will contact you to give him or her a lesson," he laughed.

anyway...Principal Garret...well I guess I can call him Steve...Steve gave me keys to 307 and gave me directions but you know I'm not good with that kind of stuff. Mind giving me a hand for..."

He listened to her and heard her drift off. He wondered if she had another sarcastic comment to make about it, but nothing came out. He was slightly amazed, had Madi Alvarez grown up? She must have and he felt like it would only be right for him to help her out. "Sure Madi..... I can show you to your room.... the school can be kind of confusing for new hires anyway..."

He smiled as he motioned for his door, "Lets go.... wont be that hard to find, and if you need a tour of the school I can do that for you." He followed her out of the classroom before heading down the hallway. He looked over at her and smiled again, "Just so you know all the hallways are colored. You can tell by the lockers, room 307 is an electives room, so you will find that in the blue hallway." He smiled as he took her down the hall, turning through the hallways as the entered the blue hallway. As he walked up to the door he smiled, "Here we are.... room 307..... guess this is your new home for the school year...." he said as he leaned against a locker next to her door, waiting for her to unlock it.

"I'll definitely take that tour," she said with a smile as she keyed the door to her new classroom that was twice the size of his. It was truly a blanket slate. A desk for her and two long tables surrounded by chairs sat in the front of the room while the rear was dominated by a baby grand piano and a set of lifts. Behind the desk was another door that her new boss told her was storage for the music department. There were white boards on the wall behind her desk and before the band stand. The back wall was mostly windows and after they set her boxes down Madi went over to open them all.

"It's kinda rank in here," she said absently as she moved around the room, surveying her new surroundings. It was real now and she felt herself well up a little at the thought of how far she'd come. "I can't believe this is all mine...like really mine...this might be bigger than my apartment," she said with a grin, finally shifting her eyes at Billy a moment before she made her way over to him. "I hope this place is soundproof because I'm gonna rock the fuck out in here," she yelled, checking the acoustic. "Not bad...not bad at all."

"If you're not busy maybe you could show me where I could get some coffee. I've got a ton of stuff to do to make this place half as cool as me and mama needs fuel."

Bill smiled as she walked up to her door to put the key in. This did not seem like the same Madi he remembered in college. He was actually shocked, and pleasantly surprised at that. He always felt like Madi had a control over him, but as of right now he felt as if they were just old friends meeting after a long time a part. As she began to unlock her room door, he heard her talk about the tour. "Well, it would be my pleasure to show you around the school..... seeing as if I am the veteran teacher here..." he joked with her.

As they walked into the giant music/drama room he smiled as he watched her look around. He could tell by the look in her eyes that she was happy to have this space. He grinned at her, "Its a good size room...... seeing you will have both big classes and solo lessons, they give you the room you will need for any situation...." he said watching how she reacted. He could see that she had some ideas on how to make the room her own, and he smiled as she commented about it.

"I can't believe this is all mine...like really mine...this might be bigger than my apartment"

Bill smiled at that comment. "Have a small apartment huh? Well if you stay on for the long hall here you will have a house in no time..." he grinned at her. He remembered when he first started teaching and he lived in a small apartment. It was a wake up call and he was happy when he finally made enough to move into his own place. Of course, at that point he had met Jess and they were moving in together, but he knew the feeling of finally having a house of his own. As Madi finally turned to focus on him and began to move toward him he smiled as he looked down at her.

"I hope this place is soundproof because I'm gonna rock the fuck out in here"

That comment almost brought memories of old Madi to Bill. Back in college making a comment about a room being soundproof was code for a room she could have sex in without worries of being heard or caught. He looked at her before he laughed, "It is soundproof...... the school district doesn't want your hard rocking to disrupt all the other classes...." He gave her a playful grin, "You know the Madi I used to know would not be thinking of rocking out in a room like this." He laughed a bit before coming to his senses. "Sorry, that was inappropriate.... I was just joking with you..." he quickly added. He did not want to make her uncomfortable, or judge her for how she used to be. He knew her past and while he was a part of it, he had moved on and she may have as well.

"If you're not busy maybe you could show me where I could get some coffee. I've got a ton of stuff to do to make this place half as cool as me and mama needs fuel."

Bill laughed at her as she said this. "Fuel huh? I am sure I can show you where you can get some coffee......." He looked down at her and almost caught himself checking her out before responding again. "Consider it the first stop on our tour, I will show you to the teachers lounge..." he smiled at her as he slowly began to back away toward the door to the hallway.

As they headed out into the hall again, Madi found herself repeating the same words over and over in her head. Be good...be good...for the love of fuck be good... It had become her mantra over the last few years and she'd done a pretty good job of following it up until now. She couldn't help but here a little bit of an invitation in Bill's casual mention of her past. Despite how he apologized, Madi watched his eyes roam over her a moment before he collected himself and she found it oddly adorable. That's what drew her to him in the first place, that cherub like innocence. He was ripe for corruption and Madi took great pleasure in showing him the darker side of life.

But that was the old Madi, who didn't care about herself enough to care about anybody else. She was damaged goods back then, a ball of barely controlled rage. That's why she took to the drums so well. They were a constructive outlet for her perpetually hurt feelings and despite her growth she'd still rock up a sweat on a particularly bad day. And despite her growth, Madi couldn't stop wondering if Billy still thought of her and all the fun they had back then.

It seemed like a whole different lifetime, at least that's how Madi felt but she doubted Billy saw it that way. She knew the damage she'd done to him and not once did she apologize. She wanted to now but it didn't seem right to dig into old wounds when it seemed he was willing to start fresh, his little comment aside. If he brought it up then she was more than willing to make amends but until then she would continue to be her new, tamer, self.

The tour was brief but detailed and Madi only retained enough to allow her to get to the places she needed. The office, her classroom, the auditorium, the gym, the cafeteria, and the teacher's lounger were the only points of interest as far as she was concerned. And his classroom of course, she wouldn't forget that. It was in the main hallway which meant she had to pass it on her way in and out every day. If she wanted she could pass it whenever she went anywhere on campus. Be good...be good...for the love of fuck be good...

Once they made it to the teacher's lounge, Madi was a little shocked. It wasn't like any of the teacher's lounges she'd seen on television or in movies. The decor was modern and clean. There were a few computers on a table mounted to one wall. A full sized refrigerator with double doors. A flashy multifunction coffeemaker that Madi would probably need a tutorial on how to use and a stainless steel microwave that was 1000 times nicer than the one she had at her house. A worn but tidy microfiber sofa and a few wooden tables and chairs made up the rest of the furniture. All in all it was much nicer than she expected but she should have known better given the condition of the school itself and her salary.

"So is there where we come to bitch about the students," Madi said with a chuckle as she fired up the coffeemaker. She hit a few buttons before setting her travel mug beneath the drip and was pleasantly surprised when something came out. She wasn't entirely sure what it was but so long as it had caffeine Madi would chug it down. "I can only imagine what the faculty had to say about me way back when. You think I was crazy in college, you should have seen before I could be tried as an adult," she offered with a snort as she took her first sip. "Well that's not terrible," she muttered as she choked it down. "Thanks a lot Billy...or is it Bill now since you're all grown up. Married and stuff. Living the all-American dream with a two-car garage and white picket fence," she teased a little as she took another tentative sip.

Bill did not give Madi the lengthy tour. If he remembered correctly she was not one to focus for too long that she would remember all the nooks and hidden spots of the school. However, he made sure to show her to the important parts of the school. He showed her where Principal Garrett's office was and how to get there from her room. He then showed her where the auditorium was located, seeing she would be heavily involved in things that would happen there. He did not show her the backstage and stuff like that, deciding that she would ask if she wanted that detailed of a tour. Next came the gym, which he was very proud of. He coached basketball there and almost felt like it was a must know spot, since the schools team was pretty good. Next came the cafeteria which was on the way to the teachers lounge. He showed her where the students sat and where the teachers could go to get food if they did not bring any. Finally he pointed her in the direction to get back to his classroom in case she ever needed him.

After that, he moved her along to the teachers lounge. It was a nice lounge of course, and during the school day would be filled with teachers. It always seemed to be busy as most teachers did not have the same free periods. He would often come down to catch up with some of his fellow co-workers and the occasional bite to eat or cup of coffee. As he opened the door he saw the small look of shock on her face. He knew the teachers lounge was pretty impressive, but he couldn't help but just smile as he watched her enter the lounge and walk around. "Pretty nice right? They definitely spoil the staff at this school...." he said grinning as he watched her walk around the room.

"So is there where we come to bitch about the students"

Bill couldn't help but laugh at her comment. He could imagine what she must think, but to be honest, a lot of teachers did come in here to bitch about students. He smiled a bit at her, "Actually, yes..... this is where a lot of the teachers bitch about the students.... although, thats mostly the older teachers." He watched as she found the coffeemaker and began to attempt to figure out how it works. He moved over to a table and leaned back against it, half sitting on it as he watched her. As she tried the coffee, he smiled, "Not terrible is a good thing...." he laughed.

"Thanks a lot Billy...or is it Bill now since you're all grown up. Married and stuff. Living the all-American dream with a two-car garage and white picket fence"

As she sipped her coffee she turned to look at him again. He smiled as he heard the words come out of her mouth. "Well..... I mean, if it's easier you can call me Billy..... but most call me Bill," he said with a smile. If this would have been college, he would have thought that she was asking to get information she could use to corrupt him, but she seemed a bit more tame now, more mature then she was back then. He nodded, "The all-American dream, you got me there. I am married, a great woman........ we live off of South Ave, its a nice neighborhood, lots of married couples with kids, but no white picket fence," he teased. "To be honest..... I am in a good spot..... my wife, Jess, and I are talking about starting a family..... although, I am a bit hesitant since we both are so busy lately..." he admitted as he looked at her. He may have gave Madi more information then he intended, but something about her made him feel like he could tell her.

"Well..... I mean, if it's easier you can call me Billy..... but most call me Bill."

I bet the wife calls you Billy, she thought snidely, though outwardly Madi smiled and nodded as he talked about the life he made after surviving her. She was almost proud of him for being so open with her, and without the least bit of gloating. But that was Billy, always the sweetest boy in the world, or an easy mark depending on your perspective. Lucky for him, Madi was leaning towards he former these days so she let him talk, all the while imagining what his wife was like.

Jess huh? I bet she's blond...probably from a bottle but blond nonetheless...bet not even a single tattoo...maybe a stupid belly ring...probably hangs on his every word...former prom queen...ex-cheerleader...I hated those bitches...probably lame in the sack too...or she's awesome...either way there's no way she's better than me...

"That's great Billy...I'm really happy for you," she said with a smile, though it didn't make it all the way across her full, unpainted lips. "I'm off guys at the moment," she offered with a wink as she took another sip and swallowed slowly, allowing Bill to ruminate on what exactly that might mean. Madi was certain he remembered her ambiguous sexuality. She'd put on plenty of shows for him with ditsy coeds, but more often than not they were for own benefit. "The last one was a major asshole so...yeah...that's where I'm at with that," she added with a shrugging smirk as she lean back against the sink. "I don't think I'll ever be ready for suburbia though. I've got a one-bedroom downtown...mostly artists and hipsters who don't mind me banging my drums all hours of the night. Landlord's a tool but he doesn't give a shit what you do so long as your rent checks don't bounce so it's basically mine. It's tight but I like it. It's my first real place, you know? I'm 32 years old and this is the first time I've really lived on my own. Pretty fucking liberating experience if you ask me," she said with a chuckle, glancing up at the clock on the wall.

Madi refilled her coffee cup and offered Bill a small smile. "It's really nice to see you again Billy and I'm glad things are going well for you here," she said and planted a kiss on his cheek. It was a bold move but Madi made sure to keep all her good parts from brushing his so the kiss seemed platonic at best. "This is going to be more fun than I thought. I don't know how far you've gotten today but I've got a shit ton of things to do before the days out. I'm sure I'll see you around though," she said with a wink as she headed for the door.

She was gone before he could say anything about the kiss, left him standing there like she had so many times before. All with that classic Mad Madi grin, the one where you weren't sure if she was kidding or not. The one that hinted there might be something slightly off about her but you just couldn't put your finger on it. The whole summer she'd been worrying about how she would fit in, that she might get bored and slide back towards her old self. All that went out the window the moment she saw Billy. He would be her in and if she got bored, well Billy was always a fun plaything.

Bill sat against the table looking at Madi as he wondered what was going through her mind as he talked about his wife. He smiled as she said she was happy for him. This seemed to be a totally different Madi from what he remembered. Gone were the teasing and attempts to corrupt, at least so it seemed. She genuinely seemed happy for him, and she seemed at peace with her life. He was happy for her. Not only that, but happy that he was not falling over himself being around her. He literally felt like he could be friends with her without falling back into her web.

I'm off guys at the moment"

That comment put Bill in a bit of a bind. Just at the sound of her words, images of Madi with some of the other ditsy co-eds from college entered his head. At first he used to think she did it for him, but he soon found out that she did it for herself. He knew she had an ambiguous sexuality, one that she used to her advantage at all times. When she wanted to tease or push Bill, she would put on a show to tease him, keep him wanting more. As he sat there and thought about it he heard her talk about her last relationship.

She went through a bad relationship. With that statement he snapped out of his momentary trip down memory lane. He nodded at her, glad that she seems to have distance herself from bad relationships. "Well I am sorry that you went through that..... guys can be harsh...." he grinned at her. "Don't worry, I know you.... you will find someone, you always do..." he teased. More trying to be playful then teasing her about her past.

"I don't think I'll ever be ready for suburbia though. I've got a one-bedroom downtown..."

Bill openly laughed at her comment. She was right, he couldn't see her living where he did. The family life that he imagined just didn't seem to be something she was gunning for. He shook his head as he laughed, "Oh come on.... I am sure the old Madi would have a blast in suburbia.... creating havoc and teasing the married men." He shook his head as he knew that is what would happen. "You may not be ready for it..... but I am sure suburbia is not ready for you either!," he teased. "Anyway, I am glad you have your own place and are doing well..... it's great to have you on the staff with us here..." he gave her a friendly smile.

"This is going to be more fun than I thought. I don't know how far you've gotten today but I've got a shit ton of things to do before the days out. I'm sure I'll see you around though"

He watched her fill her coffee cup as she said this. He nodded, "I have gotten a lot done.... but I will probably be here a while..... I am a perfectionist after all," he smiled at her. As she walked over to him and kissed his cheek, the feeling of her full lips against his cheek brought back memories of their past. He felt as if the kiss was friendly, however the look in her eyes and the grin on her face left him sort of floored. As she disappeared he stood there, wondering if she had really changed or if it was all just a ploy in a game she was playing. As he stood there he finally shook his head, "No, she is older and more mature, she is not playing a game..." he said to himself.

He decided it was time to head back to his room. He wanted to finish his room and make sure everything was set. He headed down the hallway and back to his room and entered it. His room was a safe space in his mind. He knew Madi was in the building somewhere, but he could get lost in his work and stay focused on the task at hand, not letting his mind wander.

The day seemed to fly by, and before Bill knew it, it was later in the afternoon. He looked out in the teachers parking lot and noticed that there were not many cars left and he sighed. He always worked later then expected. He sat back in his chair closing his eyes. He really should head home, Jess was probably home waiting to make dinner. He wondered if Madi was still in the building, and for a second he wanted to go see if she was still in her room. He sighed at the thought, and as he stood up he convinced himself to just head home.

However, as he grabbed his book bag and put it over his shoulders, he found himself heading toward the electives hallway and the music room. As he got closer to her room, he wondered if she was in there still. He figured she would be, knowing Madi she had so many idea's about how the room would look she was probably lost in making her room her own. As he got closer to the doorway he heard some music coming from it. He got to the open door and smiled, knocking as he stood there.

Madi got to work as soon as she got back to room 307. Her classroom. She turned that over in her mind a few times as she got her personal laptop set-up on her desk with the portable speakers. First things first, selecting a playlist. She'd spent the last month or so compiling various playlists for classroom purposes but the one she picked was from her private stash. A collection of 90s alt rock and grudge that illustrated the perpetual angst of her teenage years. It seemed fitting of since she back at the scene of the crime, so to speak. High school was awful for her, the worst years of her life and that included the 90 days she spent detoxing opiates. That struggle was self-inflicted, high school was a hell made by others. When she took this job Madi made a promised to always be an ally to kids like her.

Once the music was set, at a reasonable volume, Madi got to work unrolling the dozen or so posters she brought. Some from her private collection but most were brand new and none of them had anything to do with music, at least not directly anyway. There were a couple of the standard inspirational shit teachers shove down kids throats but her favorites for the nonsensical ones that she hoped would make a kid smile on a particular shitty day. Like the one that said, "Be yourself, in less you can be a unicorn. If that's the case, be a unicorn". Then there was, "Just do your thing." But her favorites weren't posters at all. Two 8"x11" prints that she framed and put on her desk. One said "My house. My rules." in bright whimsical font while the other said "I wasn't always a teacher. Don't make me remember.

With the posters all set, Madi got to work rearranging the room. She worked up a sweat pushing the piano into the corner to make room for one of the drum kits in the storage room and her spare guitar stand from home. Next she moved on to the tables, pushing them flush against the wall because she didn't plan to use them if she could help it. By then her coffee cup was empty and her body vibrated from the buzz so she got to work drawing staves on one of the white board with thin strips of black electrical so she didn't have to worry about doing them over and over again. "Work smarter, not harder, right Uncle Toni," she mumbled to herself, standing back from the board to make sure all the lines were level before she moved on to the next task of reviewing the curriculum.

A knock at the door startled her as she moved to her desk but still she smiled at the sight of her ex-boyfriend leaning against the door frame. His backpack made her look at the time and her eyes bulged when she realized how long she'd been hard at work. "Oh my goodness! Is that right? Has it really been five whole hours? I don't think I've ever actually worked that many consecutive hours before," she said proud of herself. "Probably just first day excitement, huh? Better pace myself," she said as she began packing up laptop, speakers and curriculum binder. The rest she left for the next day. "I'll walk out with you so I don't get lost. Maybe tomorrow I try it with no training wheels," she added as she slung her batter messenger bag over her shoulder.

"Oh my goodness! Is that right? Has it really been five whole hours? I don't think I've ever actually worked that many consecutive hours before"

Bill couldn't help but laugh at her response after looking at the clock. He pushed off the wall and walked into her room. He looked around and smiled, "Well for someone who isn't used to working that many hours in a row, you sure did get a lot done...... room is starting to look real good." He turned and smiled at her as he watched her begin to pack up her things. He smiled as he moved over to her desk, "So..... did you find out if the room was soundproof yet?" He was just teasing her, but figured it was all in good fun.

"I'll walk out with you so I don't get lost. Maybe tomorrow I try it with no training wheels"

Bill couldn't help but laugh as she grabbed her batter messenger bag over her shoulder and headed toward him. "That is funny to hear from you.... I figured you were not the type of person to ever try anything with training wheels first...." he laughed as he lead her out of her room. He let her turn off the lights and lock up before he headed down the hallway towards the exit. As they walked he smiled, "So anything you want to see before you are done for the day? Did I show you everything?"

Bill was trying to be helpful, but part of him wondered if that was a good offer. The old Madi would have jumped all over that question, asking him to take her somewhere private and then convincing him to give into her. He knew how she used to be, and she used to do it to him all the time. Anytime she did anything to hurt him, she would use her body or power over him to get his mind off of it and onto her. Back in college she had a way about her that affected him. She was a like a drug he could not say no to.

He knew her past, she had problems with alcohol and some drugs. She definitely tempted him to join in her self-destructive life and he was tempted. Not tempted by the drugs, but tempted because she made them seem like they were worth it. If she was doing them they must be good. He smiled, "It was nice catching up with you again...." he said to her as they walked.

"So..... did you find out if the room was soundproof yet?"

Be good...be good...for the love of fuck be good..."Ehh we'll find out tomorrow when I take that kit for a ride," she said with a nod at the drums as she followed him out the door.

Once Madi locked up they headed for the door and Bill delivered another comment that was just shy of innuendo but again she side stepped it. "Nah, I'll explore when I'm ready and rolling 24/7 tends to make you feel invincible. That's why I kicked the pills. Turns out I actually enjoy the occasional honest emotion every now and then. I don't even drink all that much anymore. Only what tastes good," she added with a smirk

"It was nice catching up with you again...."

They'd made it out to the near deserted faculty lot by then and Madi looked up at him with a grin as she fished out her keys. "You say that like we're not going to be seeing each other every day for the next nine months. I've got three free periods lined up this semester so I'm sure we'll get to hang out some more...who knows we might even get to be friends for real this time," she said with a pat to his shoulder. "I treated you like shit Billy and you didn't deserve it. When I saw you today...I didn't...I was terrified but you proved to be a better man than I ever gave you credit for." It wasn't an apology but it was honest. Madi was certain it would go a long way, even as she hit the alarm clicker for her truck. "So...I guess I'll see you tomorrow then?"

"I treated you like shit Billy and you didn't deserve it. When I saw you today...I didn't...I was terrified but you proved to be a better man than I ever gave you credit for."

Bill smiled as he walked her over towards her truck, and he nodded at her comment. "Water under the bridge Madi....we were young..." he grinned at her. "Nice truck..... looks like a classic..." he joked as he waved to her. "I will see you tomorrow...." he said as he hit the button his own pick-up truck.. He smiled as he got in and headed off. He left his ex-girlfriend as he drove home for the night, wondering what it would be like being around Madi again. He had a bit of a positive mindset, she seemed to be changed, that was for sure.

When he got home Jess was sitting in the living room. She gave him a look, "Good thing I didn't hold my breath.... why are you so late?," she asked. Bill laughed as he walked over and gave her a kiss. He apologized and they decided to make dinner together. As the night went on, Jess fell asleep leaving Bill up watching television.

As he watched, he felt his mind wander to the old days. He found himself thinking of all the things that Madi used to do to him. How she used to drive him crazy, until he couldn't take anymore. He found himself fantasizing about her a bit, letting himself fall into his fantasies as he sat on the couch. As he began to get more and more turned on, he headed up to bed.

Part of him hoped Jess would be willing to fool around with him, help him forget about Madi. However, she was out cold and Bill knew it would be another night without getting any. The only problem this time was that every time he closed his eyes he thought about Madi.

The next day he woke up and found Jess had already gone to work. He got ready for another day at school, knowing he had only a little more to do before his room was all set up. He put on a New Haven High School Basketball team t-shirt, with khaki shorts, a belt and boxers. It was about 10 am before he headed toward the school.

He parked his truck and headed into the school. Part of him wanted to go look for Madi, however, after he couldn't get her out of his mind last night, he decided against it. He headed to his room to finish setting up. Sitting down at his desk, Bill turned on his computer and began to check his emails, hoping he would finish what he had to planned to today.

Once they said their good byes, Billy went right and Madi went left. As she drove across town she couldn't help but wonder what he might say to his wife about her. What had he already said? Knowing Billy, he probably told her everything and Madi found herself chuckling at that. She probably thinks she saved him...which means she'll probably hat me if we ever meet...God I hope I never have to do that...

Dinner was take-out sushi from the restaurant a few doors down from her third floor walk-up after which she shocked herself again by declining her neighbors invitation for a few bong rips before bed. Madi had work to do and she got to work pouring over the curriculum before devising her very first lesson plan. Ever. It was nothing like planning an hour lesson but she found she enjoyed the challenge so long as her e-cigarette was nearby. She decided to call it a night around 9 and settled down to bed with her favorite suction cup dildo and some good old fashion lesbian porn. Two orgasms later, Madi passed out in a heap only to be awaken a couple hours later with a "U up" text from Lindsey. The supposedly straight redhead ran the yoga studio a few blocks away and came over at least twice a week to get her face ridden before she went home to her lame-o boyfriend. Tonight was no different but Madi treated her to a rough strapping before she sent her on her way. She asked if they could go out sometime but Madi declined. Lindsey was fun to play with but that was about it. She didn't seem too broken up about it though, gave Madi a deep kiss and said, "Until next time." Five orgasms on the day, Madi barely made it to bed before she passed out. For good this time. She turned her phone off, put on her sleep mask, and ocean sounds before drifting off to blissfully sober slumber.

When her alarm went off at 7 Madi didn't even need the snooze. Funny how much more refreshing sleep was when you didn't go to bed hammered the night before. After a much needed shower and a hearty breakfast, she got dressed high-waisted skinny jeans and a slouchy crop top that hung off her shoulder a little. She left her hair down and swiped on a healthy coat of nude lip gloss before applying a couple coats off mascara, all the while repeating her mantra.

She continued repeating it as she drove to work. When she saw Bill truck, Madi started saying it out loud and didn't stop until she made it to his hallway. She hesitated a moment, debating whether to go the long way take the direct route pass his room. Mad Madi won and she sashayed her way to his door with that mischievous. "Hey not-so-neighbor," she said standing in his doorway. "If your still around at lunch time maybe we could break in the teacher's lounge. Me, you, couple grease burgers from that diner down the street. I'm pretty sure they deliver, if not I'll pick it up. Either way, my treat. If it's too weird I get it but think about it and let me know," she said with a tap to his door as she backed away and headed in the direction of her own room.

The ball was in his court now, all Madi could do was wait. And work of course, because she still had a ton to do. She put in a couple hours before deciding to take a brain break and sat down behind the drums to kick out a quick solo.

Bill was sitting at his desk, he had a few emails from Principal Garrett about new students that he would be having this year. He answered the emails all the while thinking of what he needed to accomplish today. It was a good start, he didn't think about Madi too much, although he did decide he should tell Jess that she had started at the school. Jess new about his relationship with Madi, however she didn't know everything. All Jess knew was that Madi was the ex-girlfriend that caused Bill a lot of problems.

"Hey not-so-neighbor. If your still around at lunch time maybe we could break in the teacher's lounge. Me, you, couple grease burgers from that diner down the street. I'm pretty sure they deliver, if not I'll pick it up. Either way, my treat. If it's too weird I get it but think about it and let me know"

Bill heard her voice and looked up from his desk. He smiled as he heard her and greeted her in return. "Hey there neighbor...... how was your night?" As she offered to have lunch with him he felt his eyes look her over. He couldn't help but think about what she said, "we could break in the teachers lounge." His mind immediately went back to the old Madi, that would normally mean sex in the teachers lounge. However, he shook the thought from his head. This was a different Madi Alvarez he told himself, she is just being polite. "Yeah maybe, I will stop down and let you know," he said smiling.

As she headed to her room he sighed. He leaned back in his chair and wondered if he was letting himself fall into another one of her traps. It was tough for Bill, he wanted to believe she had changed, but there was still that part of him that did not trust her. A couple hours into his stay at New Haven High, he had answered all his emails, as well as finished setting up his room. He grinned at his room feeling accomplished. Finally, he decided to take Madi up on her offer.

As he walked down the hallway toward her room, he kept telling himself that she was not the same girl. As he got closer to her room he saw her door was cracked open a bit. As he knocked and opened the door slightly, he heard the familiar sound of her playing the drums. As he walked into her room he smiled as he watched her doing her quick solo. As she stopped at the drums Bill began to clap. "You still got it, thats for sure....... wow." He smiled at her as he walked into her room, "I hope I am not interrupting, I just wanted to stop down to accept your offer for lunch..... if you still wanted to."

Bill looked at Madi behind the drums and her eyes caught his attention. He remembered how she could use looks to break him down, her eyes were easy to get lost in. They were dangerous for sure, he always used to joke that her eyes could hypnotize a man or woman and be under her control. "By the way, the room is looking good..... you have gotten a lot done...... it definitely has that Madi Alvarez quality to it," he teased.

A cool smile slid across her full lips as Bill accepted her lunch offer. Madi didn't doubt for a moment that he would decline but the way he looked her just then said so much about how little he'd changed over the years. Yeah he still wants me...wants me bad... She glanced up at the clock as she stood up from her stool, gave her back a quick stretch. She stretched her arms high above her head, "unintentionally" allowing him a glimpse of the underside of her lacy blue bra and tattooed sides.

"Bought that time isn't it," she said with a smirk as she brushed past him. It was just her arm to his chest but if she remember correctly, it didn't take much to trip Bill up. "We can check out the menu online," she added as she slid into her rickety desk chair and waved him over. "And don't try to be Mr. Nice Guy. You bought plenty of meals back in the day...beers...movie tickets...shit I think you paid for everything," Madi said shaking her head. "It's about time I start pulling my own weight."

By then Madi had the menu up on her screen and was scrolling through the multitude of options on the diners extensive menu. It didn't help that she'd worked up an appetite drumming so everything looked good. Her stomach growled as she read burger descriptions out loud. "Guess that settles it. Mushroom and swiss burger, cheddar fries, and mint-chocolate chip shake. Mmmmm I can already taste it," she said with a delighted moan and ran her tongue along her top lip as she shift her eyes at him. "So what does Billy want?"

Bill see the smile slide along Madi's lips. He watched as she stood up from her stool and he took a couple of steps inside her room. As she began to stretch her back a bit, he couldn't help but watch as her arms went high above her head. He saw the underside of her lacy blue bra, and of course, the tattoos that he always thought made her exotic and sexy in college. He smiled as he shook his head, trying his hardest to keep his mind off of her amazing body.

"Definitely about that time...." he said smiling at her. As she brushed past him, he felt her arm on his chest. He played it off as if it was nothing, but he noticed her a bit more flirty today. As she talked about the menu, he followed her over toward her desk as she sat down. "Wow.... you need a better chair," he joked as he moved over behind her.

"And don't try to be Mr. Nice Guy. You bought plenty of meals back in the day...beers...movie tickets...shit I think you paid for everything"

Bill laughed at that comment. "Well if I remember I paid for all of that because I was trying to get you to date me," he joked as he listened to her. She had a point, when they dated he did pay for a lot, but pull her weight? Bill seems to remember she always seemed to reward him in some way. "Well, if you want, I won't decline a free meal," he smiled at her as she pulled up the menu on her computer.

As she picked what she wanted, he smiled. He looked over her shoulder at the menu, but as she turned and looked at him, and ran her tongue over her top lip he couldn't help but get distracted.

"So what does Billy want?"

The question was simple. What did he want to eat? However, the way she looked at him and the way her tongue moved along her top lip, he couldn't help but think she meant something else. For a moment he pictured him giving into her, pulling her in so she could use her tongue to relieve some of his sexual frustration from at home. He sighed a bit as he shook the thought out of his head. "Well..... I will take a bacon burger....... and a strawberry shake," he said softly. He stared back into her eyes, and he felt like she could see that he was thinking about something sexual. It was ridiculous of course, but Bill did always seem to think that Madi could read his mind. It is what helped her have so much power over him, it was like she knew what he was thinking and what he liked.

"That's it huh?" Madi asked with a cheeky grin as she grabbed her phone and dialed in the diner's number. "And don't even think about stealing my fries," she added as she pushed back from her desk to stand. Madi didn't stretch this time but she stood in a way that made it hard to ignore her curves. One hand on her hip, back slightly arched, making the neck of her shirt pucker a little to reveal her ample cleavage. It was only for a moment though, as soon as the line opened Madi rattled off their delivery order with a smile. She was playfully flirtatious with older gentleman who answered the phone, in the hopes of speedy service and future freebies.

That was another thing Madi learned recently. Being friendly made life easier. You didn't have to worry about people stabbing you in the back if you lived life on the up and up. What she told Bill about being "off men" wasn't exactly true. Madi was off relationships but she was honest with the partners she chose these days. Despite her new approach to life, Madi was not one for monogamy and she let it be known when meeting potential suitors. Telling the truth was a hell of a lot easier than telling people what they wanted to hear and she was less likely to add to the trail of broken hearts that littered her life's path.

"Food'll be here in 30," she said to Billy as she slipped her phone into her back pocket. A mischievous grin spread across her face as she gave him a quick once over before hopping up on her desk beside him. "Quick question while we wait...answer it or don't but I'm curious. Your wife...Jess right? I'm probably going to meet her at some point, right? Should I expect it to be awkward or did you...like...downplay the whole me ruining you for a few years before you met her? I mean I don't even know this woman but I need to know if she hates me already because I was a complete and total shithead back in the day," she said with a shrug and nudged him gently with her elbow. "I just don't want it to be awkward, you know? I'm not that girl anymore Billy and I'm happy that you got what you always wanted. You're a really nice guy Billy, always were, and I meant what I said about us being friends but if that's going to be a problem let me know now. I don't want to cause you any more trouble than I already have," she said with a somber smile and ran her hand up his arm as she stood again. "It'll be a long year but I've never had trouble making friends, even when I was an asshole."

The grin on Madi's face made him wonder if she knew what was running through his head. He sighed as he gave her a grin back. He was a bit nervous, but he didn't want her to notice it. As she mentioned no stealing her fries he laughed. "Oh, I think you would bite my hand off if I tried to steal your fries," he joked. He watched as she pushed back from her desk and stood up. As she did, he noticed her body again. He saw her curves and caught a glimpse of her cleavage. He sighed, Madi Alvarez always had an amazing body. He loved Jessica, but compared to Madi her body was just average.

As she spoke on the phone with the diner, he laughed. He noticed her flirty demeanor, it was a glimpse into how she used to always get what she wanted. She was so good at it, and even in her improved behavior, she seemed to remember how to get just what she wanted from whoever she was talking to. As she hung up he smiled, "30 minutes sounds great...." he responded, thinking he would go back to his office. However, Madi had another idea. He watched as she sat up on her desk next to him. Bill turned to look at her as she asked him about his wife.

"Quick question while we wait...answer it or don't but I'm curious. Your wife...Jess right? I'm probably going to meet her at some point, right? Should I expect it to be awkward or did you...like...downplay the whole me ruining you for a few years before you met her? I mean I don't even know this woman but I need to know if she hates me already because I was a complete and total shithead back in the day"

He looked into her eyes and smiled a bit. "Yes, you will meet Jess, especially if we are going to be co-workers and friends," he said, hoping that is what they would be. As she asked about how much Jess knew about her, that was complicated. Bill did not open up much about Madi to Jess. Jess knew he had a bad experience in a relationship in college. She also knew that he had a hard time trusting at the start of their relationship because of it. However, Bill did not go into details. He didn't want to bring up that part of his past, and in his head, he hoped it would never come back.

"You have nothing to worry about...... I didn't tell her detail. I told her it was a tough relationship, I got hurt and nothing more," he said looking into her eyes. "Jess won't hate you because of our past......" he said as he began to smile at her. "However, she may dislike you because she is the jealous type, and you look like a rocker chick," he said joking with her. He wanted to be playful with her as she elbowed him. Madi made it easy to feel comfortable around her, and that was part of the problem back in the day. No matter how mad he was at her, she could turn it around and make the situation feel at ease.

As he stood in front of her he felt her reach out and run her hand up his arm as she stood. She stepped close to him as he looked down at her, "You won't cause me any more trouble...... I am happy with Jess and I am happy that we can talk without hating each other...." he said honestly. however, as her hand moved on his arm he couldn't help but feel those sexual thoughts trying to push back into his mind.

"It'll be a long year but I've never had trouble making friends, even when I was an asshole."

"Well..... you never were one to struggle to make friends," he said softly as he looked down at her. "I am sure our friendship will be fine though," he told her as he looked down at her, part of him knew that in college they would be moving on to something sexual, probably right here on her desk. He resisted those temptations though, he was married and faithful. He doubted that even the old Madi Alvarez could ruin the happy life he had at this moment.

Well so much for being good..."Well our secret's safe with me," Madi said, making a show of sealing her grinning lips and tucking the key into her ample cleavage. "Just say we knew each other in college but lost touch. And I'll try not to be too friendly when she's around...don't want her to start asking questions because you're a terrible liar Billy," she added with a chuckle. "Pretty sure that's a good thing though. I always thought it was sweet anyway," she added with a grin as she moved around him to dig into her bag for her wallet. She grabbed her e-cig as well figured she could kill two birds with one stone. "I'm gonna go wait for the food and get my nicotine fix. I'll meet you in the lounge."

And like that Madi was gone but she was certain Billy's brain was working over time now with their little chat. She was being sincere in her desire to be friends with him...and his wife if it came to it but that only meant she wouldn't initiate anything past a platonic hug. If Billy wanted to take things further than that...well...that might be fun too. He always was a good lay, even when he was pissed and Madi doubted that had changed over the years. If anything he might have gotten better since male stamina usually increased with age, or at least that's what she'd heard anyway. Either way she hadn't taken any vows so it wasn't up to her to keep them.

The way he was looking at her today, Madi was certain he was at least thinking about it. Hell, he might have even rubbed one out with her in mind the night before. Or better yet, screwed his wife wishing it was Madi beneath him.

They probably only do missionary... She giggled at that as she settled down on one of the shaded benches in front of the main entrance.

"Well our secret's safe with me"

Bill heard her and smiled a bit. Madi always made everything seem like it was okay, even when she knew she was being bad. The way she pretended to lock her lips and tuck the key in her ample cleavage made Bill's eyes widen. He wasn't planning on looking at her cleavage, but her actions drew his eyes toward it. He couldn't help it, it was just something Madi was good at. She was good at getting guys to do what she wanted.

"Yeah, I will tell her we are old college friends," he laughed. His mind thinking about how they were 'close' in college. Even if she drove him crazy and ended up ruining the thought of ever finding a stable relationship. Lucky he met Jess, and all that changed. Jess, that was what he needed to focus on when he was around her. He loved Jess, that was for sure. Sure Madi was fun to be with and good to look at, but he still remembered the hurt that she caused him. Jess however, had done nothing but made him feel like he could be in love again.

As Madi dug through her purse and grabbed her e-cig he smiled. "Yeah, I will meet you in the lounge..." he said as she quickly disappeared out the door. He sighed, remembering how Madi was into more then just nicotine back in the day. He remembered how she always tried to get him to partake in her bad habits, even thought it wasn't his style. He laughed to himself as he left her room and headed to the lounge. 'Jess would kill me if I ever smoked, even an e-cig,' he thought to himself.

As he entered the teachers lounge it was again empty. Soon enough this place would be filled at all times, but now, it was going to be just him and Madi. He walked over and found a table, sitting down as he pulled out his phone. He was planning on texting Jess, however, as he sat there he thought about Madi.

She seemed to have changed a lot, however there was still something about her that he felt like he needed to be careful of. She still had that dangerous seductress look to her at times. He knew he was happy with Jess, but he also knew how powerful Madi could be. He would have to make sure he was on his toes.

As he sat there, his mind drifted to her body. Part of him wondered if she was still as good in bed as she used to be. He laughed at himself, shaking that thought from his head. He was happily married, he should not be wondering about his ex-girlfriend and how she is in bed. Even though, he knew, she always could drive him crazy and push him to his limits.

As the door to the teachers lounge opened, he smiled. He got up and walked over, helping grab the drinks from Madi. "Wow.... thanks for lunch Madi...." he said as he set the shakes down on the table, watching as she followed him over.

"You're very welcome Billy," Madi said with a grin as she dropped the bags on the table and tore into hers. Once all the food was laid out, Madi took the seat next to Bill's, instead of across from him, and jammed a straw in her shake. She worked the end into her mouth with just her tongue as she squirted ketchup in the corner of the fry box for easy dipping. "Dude, I'm starving," she said with a groan before digging into her burger.

Madi at the same no matter the company, like a kid who didn't know when they might get their next meal. A sloppy habit developed in her neglected youth and solidified in her days of being a starving musician but Madi hadn't been either of those in a while. Uncle Toni took great care of her, even when she came home after rehab and she hadn't been hungry since. But old habits died hard.

She guessed that was true for both of them with the way Bill kept glancing at her. Madi knew from the way his eyes lingered at her chest that he could probably see down her shirt with the way she sat, hunched over so as not to drop anything down her chest. Curse of the d-cups is what she called it but Madi learned the posture at an early age to keep from digging morsels from beneath her breast when she took her bra off at night.

"Mmmm this is so good...I'm probably gonna gain weight working here," she said with a giggled before chugging down another healthy sip of her shake. "I mean I know they have salads but who gets a salad when their burgers are this good...and these fries," she said as she pushed the box towards Bill, inviting him to taste. "That ain't no canned cheese sauce. Just cheddar buttery goodness."

As Madi dropped the bag of food down on the table, he grinned as he sat down. He watched as she laid out the food, sliding Bill his burger and shake as she got out her fries, burger and shake. Bill began to unwrap his burger as Madi sat down next to him. He smiled as he watched her get the ketchup on the corner of her fry box. As he glanced over, he noticed how the straw worked into her mouth with her tongue. His mind racing at thoughts of what she could do with her tongue. Stop thinking about this stuff, he thought to himself.

"Dude, I'm starving"

Bill laughed as Madi said this. "Me too..... this is going to be so good," he said as he began to eat his burger. As they began to eat, Bill noticed how Madi was eating. He always remembered that she used to eat like their would be no next meal. He couldn't help but smile, noticing how she hadn't changed all that much. While some people may have been put off by her eating habits, Bill always thought they made her unique.

As he watched her eat, he couldn't help but notice the view down her shirt. Bill knew he shouldn't be staring, but he couldn't help it. Madi had large breasts, much larger then Jess. While he loved Jess, Madi's body was definitely curvier and better to look at. He knew he shouldn't be staring and thinking these things, but he couldn't help it.

Bill smiled, "This food is good...... and I doubt you will gain weight working here..... but guess what.... there are ways to keep weight off..." Bill said smiling. He shook his head as he laughed, "The weight room is down the hallway," he teased as he finished off his burger. He took a sip of his shake as he noticed her breasts again. He sighed, thinking about what she could use them for. His mind racing, thinking of ways she could use her breasts to get him off. Again he shook the thought out of his head.

As Madi pushed the fries toward Bill, he smiled. "I thought I wasn't supposed to take one of your fries," he teased. He reached out and took one, dipping it in the cheese sauce. He tasted it and smile, "wow..... those are amazing..." he admitted as he looked at her smiling. "You are right, this diner is dangerous.... I may gain weight now that I know they have these fries!"
