Edit -- BTW there's a monkey in China that not only has predicted 8/10 Premier League football matches, but the World Cup finale, AND the election. I'd be more impressed with somebody that can predict oil prices 5 days out better than a set of darts.

Possibly. Doesn't negate my Mum's assertion that every Scot and Yugoslav are dropped on their head at birth. Occasionally it births a 1%'er like Watt or Tesla, but for the most part you end up with Turbofolk or Glasgow.

We finally agree on something.
My grandfather was raised in Mostar, I watched him weep when the bridge was blown up. I'm glad he wasn't around to watch his adopted country blow up the beginnings of the resoration over a stained dress.


Edit -- I have to agree with him. It's still, will always be, and will be again, Yugoslavia.

A successful socialist market would be welcomed, tolerated, and extolled by 99.975% of the population of planet Earth. Except it is oxymoronic.

The problem with socialism is it is self-defeating. It cannot "succeed" because no one is incentivized to produce. So it fails. Always.

Wanting a different outcome for a system that cannot succeed because it goes against, rather than compliments human nature doesnt abrogate human nature.
