Hampton was a great little town just outside of a bigger city. Hampton was a family oriented town. Most of the neighborhoods were filled with families; husbands, wives, kids. Bill and Jessica had moved to Hampton ten years ago after they both graduated from college. They were your typical college couple, meeting freshman year and become friends. During sophomore year they began to date, and things grew from there. Jessica was a business major, while Bill was in education, just two kids who were enjoying college while also trying to plan for their futures.
After graduation, Bill was offered a job at Hampton High School teaching History and coaching the boys basketball team. He had to accept the job, and decided to ask Jessica if she would go with him. Without hesitation Jessica agreed, and they made their move to Hampton. Their first two years living him Hampton went by quickly. They lived in an apartment, while Bill tried to get a grip on what a real teaching job was like. Jessica meanwhile was looking for a job and finally found one in the city. Jessica got hired as an account manager at a local business firm and everything seemed to be headed in the right direction.
After two years at Hampton, they bought a house in a great family neighborhood. It seemed like the obvious next step. Both knew they would end up getting married and wanted a place where they could settle in and build a family. After a year in their new home, Bill proposed. He loved Jessica and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. The wedding was small, just friends and family, but it was the happiest day of both Jessica and Bill's life. They were the perfect couple, and it seemed like their lives were right where they wanted them.

Fast forward seven years, Bill and Jessica are both thirty-two, and while Bill has flourished at Hampton High School, Jessica has struggled to advance in her job. She is still an accountant at a different business firm. She had been passed up for a few promotions and decided to get into another company. Bill was teaching 11th and 12th grade history at Hampton High School and also the Varsity boys basketball coach. Jessica was happy for Bill, but a little disappointed she was not further along in her career.
Earlier this year, their neighbors had moved. The house next door huge, one of the biggest in the entire neighborhood. Jessica was excited, thinking a new family would be moving in, while Bill figured it would be younger couple looking to build a family. When the moving trucks finally began to come around, the couple noticed that it was a younger couple.
Bill and Jessica let the neighbors settle in for two days, before they decided to head over to introduce themselves. Jessica had baked her favorite recipe, her homemade banana bread. Bill just got home from the store, he had picked up a bottle of wine to bring to the new neighbors as well. He walked into the kitchen and smiled, "Jess are you done preparing your bread so we can meet the new neighbors already?"
Jess gave Bill a look as she finished wrapping the banana bread. Jess was a perfectionist, and Bill figured she must have attempted to wrap the bread three or four times before finally getting it right. She smiled as she walked up to Bill and kissed him gently, "Alright.... let's go make our first introductions," Jessica said.
Bill grabbed the bottle of wine as Jessica carried the perfectly wrapped banana bread. She lead him out the front door and over to the neighbors house. They stood at the front door, and Bill smiled as he reached up and knocked three times. Jessica looked over at Bill and sighed, "God..... I hope they are nice..... they neighborhood is so perfect....." she said. Bill grinned, "Relax Jess....."
