Trouble at Fox news....

Mainly because it's just after Donald-Megyn feud.

(I rarely watch any network or cable news outlets outside of video clips)

There are a few financial shows I watch and I will use fox news for event coverage (debates etc..) but I prefer to read my news.

From what I understand their ratings are about double anyone else. Giving their demographics I do not see that changing. So they probably will not be hurt too bad.

Unless you count the 30 mill plus pay day that Gretchen is about to have.

I think you're probably right about the ratings. Their audience is going nowhere regardless. Foxnews has built a loyal following that really has no other cable/network alternative. It doesn't help the image though just as the election kicks into high gear.

Well every other network is Liberal so they have no competition.

I would guess if someone ever did start a truly neutral news cast it would fail faster than spidey trying to argue with someone.

People do not want impartial.

People want something that grabs their interest. News isn't going to do it on its own, especially when it is just being recycled every hour. That's where Foxnews has really beat the others. They've come closer than anyone to making a drama show out of the news.

That's my main problem with American TV news. It's all terrible, no matter which side of the aisle they shill for.

I don't know that I believe her story...

I'll wait until the dust settles. While her case may be solid re. Ailes, naming Doocy for the reasons given is, well, subject to question.

I've treated some women the way she claims Doocy treated her, and they were all first class bitches.

A complaint with merit or just sour grapes? Time will tell.

They also figured out years ago having a lot of beautiful women on camera wearing sexy clothing and showing a lot of leg is a good thing for ratings. Aisles is responsible. Seriously.

What, you have? I would never have believed that of you.

Wait, never mind. I do now.

You are correct.

Truth.

If we're not uninformed, we're misinformed.

And Fox is by far the worst at misinformation. They've figured out their audience better than anyone else in the business.

And of course you treat them with the utmost deference and call them "Mistress." You're in the wrong forum.

Murdochs Have Decided to Remove Roger Ailes — the Only Question Now Is When
By Gabriel Sherman
Rupert Murdoch and sons Lachlan and James — co-chairmen and CEO, respectively, of parent company 21st Century Fox — have settled on removing the 76-year-old executive, say two sources briefed on a sexual-harassment investigation of Ailes being conducted by New York law firm Paul, Weiss. After reviewing the initial findings of the probe, James Murdoch is said to be arguing that Ailes should be presented with a choice this week to resign or face being fired.
