That video kind of went all over the place without coming to a point.
It misses the point of the title. Who is dumber liberals or conservatives? I'll break it down into one precise point.
Well who's voting for Trump? LOL That will tell you all you need to know. Even funnier is that those low IQ republican voters somehow are missing the point that Trump and Hillary Clinton are best friends. LOL So tell me again how voting for Trump makes you more intelligent than voting for Sanders? Or Cruz? Or Kasich?
Now we all hate the big bankers and the bailouts, but low information Republican voters are voting for Cruz, who...is married to a wall street lawyer. Tell me again, how he's an outsider? LOL

Low income whites who vote Republican frequently know that the GOP does not advance their economic interests, but they have other concerns that they think the Republican Party is more sympathetic to than the Democrats.
Many are devout Christians or Orthodox Jews who blame the Democrat Party for the growing secularization of American society.
Many have been victims of black crime. These think the Democrat Party has done nothing to help them, but that it uses their tax money to help blacks.
Immigration is both a social issue and an economic issue. By competing for jobs immigrants depress wages. Low income whites have a better understanding of this basic fact than do upper middle class white liberals.

There is not a statistically significant difference in IQ between conservative and liberal voters.
Also, both are prone to dogmatic, inflexible patterns of thinking. The difference is that it's triggered in conservatives when, say, gun control is mentioned. Liberals by contrast don't show nuanced thought when immigration is being discussed.
I would also be wary of institutionalised bias as academic psychology is very much dominated by liberals, and their bias is evident in many ways which I am happy to bring up if pushed.
