Josh was a big gamer and Fallout 4 was his current gaming drug. He had spent countless hours on it before beating the main storyline. He had made sure and beat it without any mods so he could get the most understanding out of the game. He pulled down a few mods and even created some himself. He wasn't one to godmode, but he did like to push things a little without making things boring.

It was late one night that he was playing his latest playthrough before the new add-on pack was expected to come out the next day. He had made his home base in the game at The Castle and made it quite defensible. He had most of the recruitable companions there, all of the market stands built and manned, and a three story wooden "castle" built within the center of the settlement.

However during his playing, he began nodding off and soon fell asleep on his keyboard. An hour after he had fallen asleep, there was a major surge of power on the power grid. though it wasn't very hurtful, static electricity traveled up into his computer, through him and then back into the computer.

--------

"Come on Blue, wake up."

Blue. That was the nickname he had been called in the game. What was even more odd to him was that she was telling him to wake up. He moaned as feeling came rushing back into his body, tingling all over. Something felt odd, like he was lighter.

"Blue, wake up. You hit your head."

He moaned softly as he opened his eyes slowly, facing face to face with Piper hovering over him. It took a moment to register he wasn't looking at a computer screen. And that Piper was hovering over him, bent at the waist. That wasn't normal.

"Good, you're awake. You suddenly fell backwards as you were about to step into the main archway."

He didn't bother to respond yet or move as Piper shifted to moving back to standing, dusting her armor covered pants off. A dream, this had to be a dream and he was going to really wake up any second. He groaned for a moment as a shoot of pain went through his head, his left hand going to his head. He winced in pain as something hard and plastic hit the side of his head. Nope, this wasn't a dream.

He slowly sat up as he looked to see what he had hit himself with. It was his Pipboy, a bulky version of a mobile computer. As he was examining the device, he suddenly noticed two large mounds of flesh on his chest. He had breasts. He blinked for a moment before screaming, but the sound that came out was very female. He took a few moments to try to calm himself for looking to Piper.

"Piper, I need a mirror, please."

She looked at him for a moment, before pointing towards a bathroom mirror cabinent he had placed randomly beside the stone archway out. Getting up quickly, he rushed over to look at himself.

He was dumbfounded and stunned. What looked back at him had him floored. He had become a she. Well, she wasn't bad looking, but that was besides the point. How had this happened? What had happened? Those were just a couple of the questions running through his mind.

She pulled herself out of the daydreaming to look around. So far it looked like everything she had built in the game.

"Piper, who all is here?"

She hmmed for a moment as she tapped her chin.

"Well, there's me, Dogmeat, Curie, Preston, and about seventeen settlers manning the various tasks you setup."

Josh turned on her Pipboy, looking through the various menus. Instead of Josh, the computer had named her as Josephine Rose. Well, that name was as good as any. Now it was time to figure out what was going on.

Amy was introduced to the gaming world by her ex boyfriend, a total loser. However, he had his moments like all relationships tend to do and gaming would be one of those moments. Of course he was much better at it than she ever would be, always got all the good stuff by luck where she had to work at it for hours, if not weeks to get what she wanted.

Lately her game of choice has been World of Warcraft, it had all the options that she loved and best of all, she can customize her characters to how she liked them. Normally she doesn't like playing alliance characters, even in game, they were stuck up and had the all mighty attitude. No, horde is the way go to most of the time, when she is playing solo and wanted to hide from the world.

On the alliance side, she had a pretty elf that went by the name Kylila. Typically the only time she really played this character is when the guild went raiding and needed her. However, this weekend was different. She had four days off to do as she liked and she was going to spend as much of it as possible camping out a dragon for the mount. It is a dragon mount she has been wanting for a very long time, however she always misses it.

The guild that she was in took over the Alliance castle and the guild leader claimed that he was king of the place and for some reason liked to call her princess. After a while she gotten used to it and just played along, after all, it's not like she'll ever meet him in real life, she never left her apartment other than work and school.

They claimed that some kind of war was going on between the races and Amy rarely went along with those wars, she honestly hated pvp. Sadly, her friends pleaded for her to join this server. She's always sneaking off to do her own thing, putting herself on afk and this weekend nothing would tear her away.

She was all set, everything good to go and she didn't quite know how she'll stay awake, but she was determined to camp for this mount. After about 24+ hours of camping this spot and she was about to pass out from lack of sleep, the dragon appeared and she instantly dove in to kill it right away. It wasn't all that hard of a fight for her since she was a ranger and ranged fighting was her specialty. Let her pet do the tanking while she shoots her arrows.

It was finally dead and right when she looted it.... Blackness.. Everything just went poof and she heard the zap in the computer. Before she could honestly react, that zap shot into her arm. The next thing she knew she was waking up however long afterwards to a female voice, urging her to wake up. She found herself back in the castle and one of the healers standing next to her.

It felt strange, she actually felt the softness of the bed the cool touch of the elven fingers, wetness from the washcloth.

"It'll be alright Princess Kylila, your father sent out a search party when he found out you went missing. He went out on a raiding party though. He Wanted you stay here and rest."

All the sudden the reality of things went out the window as she remembered killing the dragon and she quickly went to look for the inventory icon.... Yet, it wasn't there... in fact there was nothing computer related here.

"Where are my things? Did I get it? And... And why do I feel so strange?"

Lahindra looked at her funny, wondering what she was rambling on about then laughed.

"Your things are over there in the corner. I do believe there is a dragon in one of your bags, there is a burned hole in the material.... If that is what you are talking about."

Kylila rushed to the pile of bags and laughed as she opened the bag up, then cried out when the dragon obviously bit her finger. Seeing the blood flow from her finger, feeling the pain... That was new. Setting the baby dragon off to the side, looking in the mirror. Kylila couldn't believe her eyes, it wasn't the same character looking back at her. The graphics were too human like, the skin soft and flawless the eleven ears were perfect.

The elf that looked back at her... was her.

"How.... why.... I.... I need to log out of here and go to bed. I think I've stayed up way to late...."

Again, she tried to find that 'log out' icon... of course.. nothing was there to find.

"General, you might want to come up here."

The voice of Preston came down from atop the makeshift castle, interrupting her next question to Piper. She sighed for a moment before making her way up to him. Everything was setup as she had placed it. The bottom floor had the workshop bench, her crafting benches, the cooking stove, chemistry set, and Power Armor station. The second floor was the market floor, a different stall setup for clothing, armor, weapons, medical, general goods, and miscellaneous stuff. Each stall had a settler manning it, all of whom smiled and waved to her as she passed by.

The third floor was a wide open living space. There were enough beds for twenty people to sleep in, a few magazine racks holding all the skill books she had collected, and several cabinets filled with various notes, holotapes, and other valued items. Two large antennas also ran up the center of the 'castle', one for attracting settlers and the other broadcasting the Radio Freedom station.

She came up to the room where Preston was peering out at their surroundings. He handed the binos to her for her usage.

"Take a look General."

The tip of the peninsula that The Castle had been on had become an island. The five large water purifiers were chugging away on the outside of the walls, but Josephine had the feeling this water was free of radioactivity. They were now an island in the middle of a very wide river. The river ran east to west, according to the virtual compass that suddenly appeared in front of her. The compass hovered for a moment and then disappeared.

"That's somewhat handy."

"What is General?"

"Oh don't worry about it Preston."

Further east, the river appeared to drop off of a cliff in the middle of a plains area. In the west, the river came down from a very large waterfall. Forest covered most of the land to the north and south, with mountains rising in the north.

"Beautiful country, wherever we are. Time to explore though."

"Who are you going to take General?"

"I think Dogmeat this time around."

Kylila wasn't sure of what was going on here and few things would pop up, similar to how it would on the computer. The map was pretty neat and it showed the view of the castle and the land that surrounded it. It seemed normal enough, the land and water were still in the correct place, the village just outside the castle with its markets were all there.

The room she was in however was different, the castle in the game didn't have many room, mostly the massive throne room in the center. Lahindra had left a while ago once she saw that Kylila would be ok, a few things she spoke were confusing though. She called the guild leader her father... that it itself was new. For the time being, that was a concern for a later time and she'll figure it out in time.

"Well, I suppose it is time to do some exploring. Can't sit here all day."

She spoke to the image that stared back at her from the mirror. Looking around the room she discovered her whole wardrobe was here in the closet, double glass doors led out to a huge balcony. Oddly enough the room was decorated with her favorite things, painted with a deep brandy red that she loves. A huge four poster bed that could fit at least ten or more people in it.

Soon slipping on a simple dark blue and purple silk dress for now, she had no plans on leaving the castle so the ranger outfit wasn't needed. It surprised her that the dragon was just a baby, even when letting it out of the cage it remained small. Though, she didn't know what to expect anymore. For it to magically grow adult size? With a sigh, she let it crawl up her arm to perch on her head. It still had a small, but very cute attitude towards her as he hissed and blew a puff of smoke at her.

"Shall we go little one? Going to have to find you some food soon, I don't know how long you've been stuck in that bag."

It wasn't long before she headed out into the hallways noticing the guilds banners in place of the alliance lion banners. These ones were red and black with a pair of raven wings as the symbol. The maids and guards looks so real and she had to touch the armor on one of the guards to feel the cold steel. Nothing here appeared like it did on the computer screen at home.

She took her time exploring the castle, grinning every time a maid bowed at her, or a guard stood at attention when she walked by. The map became very useful since the castle was so different from what she knew when playing the game. If it wasn't for the map, it would have taken her forever to find the kitchens.

Hacing decided who to take with her, Josephine decided she needed to see what had carried over with her little settlement. Looking through her Pip-Boy, she was very surprised. The green-colored map of the Fallout world had been replaced with a mostly blank one. The only things visible on both the world and local was The Castle, which was even labeled.

Her perks had carried over as well, but they were a little different. Anything that was a perk for one sex was showing as a perk for both sexes at the same time. She frowned and hit the top of her Pip-boy, but it made no difference. It was just something she would have to figure out. Her inventory was showing of things she was carrying, but she was nothing to carry them in.

Preston happened to noticed what she was looking at.

"Perhaps you should think of what you need, like this."

He stood there for a moment before a glowing purple hole appeared in front of him. He reached inside for a moment and then pulled out a small fusion cell. The hole disappeared and he reloaded his laser carbine with the fresh cell. She just blinked for a moment at the scene. First the NPCs were talking and acting on their own, and now this. She was half-tempted to try the settlement building, but that could wait.

Josephine made her way down to the workshop where Piper was flipping through one of the Perk books, sitting on the char next to the Power Armor station. She smiled as she looked up at her "mayor".

"Oh I took the liberty of taking stock of everything while you were upstairs. All you modified weapons are stored in the workshop storage, along with the armors your had. You have 10000 units of every single building item, so you're good on that end. The markets are fully stocked as well as the garden. Still can't build me a printing press, can you Blue?"

Josephine blushed a little at the last comment. Piper was always complaining about that, but the game never let him do that.

"Nope, but thank you for the report. I'm heading out with Dogmet."

"Stay safe Blue."

She stepped up into her Power Suit, letting it close around her. It felt strange as the metal suit closed around the vault suit she was wearing, hugging her like a second skin. She wasn't sure exactly what the designer was thinking when they had gave the suit so much cleavage, but that didn't seem to keep it from doing it job of protection. She pulled on the wrap-around goggles, and her HUD soon appeared. The health of the suit was showing green in the lower left of the HUD and a power meter was showing green on the right side. It was also designed to highlight living creatures in red, so that was going to be helpful.

Reaching the edge of the shore, she took a deep breathe for a moment. Dogmeat waited beside her patiently, waiting to explore this new world. The next part was going to be interesting. Fallout 4 did not have a swim in water action, it was all walking along the bottom of the bodies of water to the other side. There was also no danger of drowning since air was magically part of water, somehow. That and power armor wasn't exactly made for swimming.

She took a deep breathe and moved forward, going deeper into the water with each step. Dogmeat happily swam along the top of the water in circles around her. The water was a bit chilly, but the suit soon compensated for that. She was in over her head halfway across and opened her mouth.

Kylila managed to get the baby dragon some food, which wasn't too hard to do and the chef was more than happy to make the meal special for him. In that same time, Kylila figured she might as well eat as well for a couple of reasons. One, she was plain hungry and would have to ask Lahindra how long she was out for, it felt like days at least. The chef also gave Kylila some mead to help with her headache. As for the other reason, she figured that a bond needed to be made with this dragon, after all dragon mounts were not easy to come by. She had a quest once, a special event where she had to raise the pet dragon from an egg. With that in mind, she applied that to this one.

More and more nothing felt right and Kylila kept telling herself that she'll wake up soon and be in her apartment, hopefully......

While they ate she fiddled with the idea of how the map worked, it seemed to be a thought process, if she wanted it, it would pop up. It had the tracking that game had of where to farm things, where the pets she had tamed were and so on. However, there were a few blank areas which caught her off guard because she knew full well that she had all the maps filled out. Even the hoarde cities were filled and that was dangerous, yet fun little raid to go on.

Speaking of which, all the sudden the guards started clattering as they took off running and yelling towards the courtyard. As always, a raiding party of orcs, trolls and undead were rushing into the castle, to her knowledge, it was for the pvp experience that some players thrived on. It was about that time when Lahindra found Kylila and urged her to find a safe spot.

"The kitchen is the safest spot, no one comes into the kitchens."

Sadly, she knew raids like this could last for hours and she didn't know what would happen if she did die right now. It was almost a test worth finding out..... almost.

"They are probably here because... my father... went to raid their cities like he always does. You said he went off with a raiding party after all."

Kylila sighed and just kept eating for the moment.

"Besides, they are only in the courtyard, from what I can see they won't get into the castle itself anytime soon."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of many pets that Kylila owned had been watching over the strange new people and their settlement. This creature watched as the funny looking human went into the water and it never came up. The dog looked pretty taste to this bird like creature and it watched it swim right above where the human should have been.
The hippogryph swooped down to grab the dog within its talons, though upon contact it had snagged the human right when she surfaced to the top. When the creature felt something more than just a yapping dog in its claws, it went to the shore line.
It wanted to eat the dog thinking it was a free meal, instead it went to the human to see if it was still alive. The strange looking creature had a harness on its chest that strapped to a saddle and a leather reign that attached to some head armor. It nudged the human a few times before stepping back and siting on its haunches. The whole time ignoring the protective dog.
She had manged to take in water without any ill effects, finding the same game mechnics seemed to work here for her. However she doubted she would be able to use any of her weapons underwater. Deciding that was enough of a test for now, Josephine had started to walk further along towards the opposite shoreline.
She had barely gotten to the point where her head was above water when she was suddenly picked up. She started flailing a bit to try and get free.
"What the-"
She had barely finished speakign when she was dropped from the air. She easily landed on her feet, the area around her shaking for a few moments from her impact. She was trying to get her bearing when she felt something nudging her for a moments before stopping. Dogmeat managed to get between her and the Hippogryph, growling as he took up a defensive position. Much like Josephine, Dogmeat was confused by his new surroundings.
She was slowly standing up when laser fire erupted off to one side away from them, along with two rockets whizzing past. There was a loud explosion as the rockets hit their intended targets, a couple of large spiders that were coming to investigate as well. She raised an hand to show she was ok to the settlers and her companions, knowing they were probably ready to charge and kill evrything around the Castle.
She finally turned to see what had been nudging her, and she almost couldn't believe her eyes. She had to lift the googles up to get a clear view of the Hippogryph.
"Really? This is where we ended up? Great. And it's been a few months since I played. I really ended up in WoW of all places. This should get interesting."
She whistled softly for a moment and Dogmeat calmed down, sitting on his hunches while still growling a little.
The hippogryph got spooked by the sudden sounds of explosions, squawking loudly with a hawks cry as it stood up in a defensive posture. His wings spread out and flapped a few times as it backed up further away from strange things coming at him.
The cannons from the castle were no help either and the goblins home made bombs and guns could be heard in the distance as well. Gryphons and various other creatures were flying in the air in attempt to stop the horde from getting to far inside. Only the rangers seemed to be able to fight while in the air, shooting at distance.
Kylila heard everything, felt the cannons and bombs shaking the ground which she thought was far too real. Surprisingly though, just like in the game, the city and castle never got damaged. The npcs however, were scattering and closing their shops as they ran to safety.
"Well, this is all new..."
She mumbled to herself while Lahindra took her back to her room for safety. Reluctantly, Kylila followed her and for now could only watch from the balcony of her room.
"So much for exploring now... I wanted to get those new arrows too."
That reminded her, she can shoot the horde from up here and remain safe. With that she left the dragon on the railing as she got her bow and arrows, testing the string. She casted an enchantment on it without thinking about it out of habit.
"Here goes nothing..."
She fired the first shot and it sent an goblin of fire as she hid behind a pillar so no one can see her, though she was pretty high up and it would be difficult to spot her. Where she stood however, she couldn't see what was happening with her hippogryph or the events down by the water. Her focus was on the courtyard shooting away at the hoarde.
"Easy, easy..."
She held her hands up in an attempt to calm down the Hippogryph as things quieted down on the shore for the time being. She frowned for a moment as she heard explosion further ahead, closer to the mountains but she couldn't make out exactly how far away they were.
Once the Hippogypyh calmed down, she decided it was time to move. She wasn't quite prepared to head towards the sounds of battle, so she decided to move parallel to it. As she did, the Pip-boy beeped for a moment. She lifted her wrist and turned the dial till she came to the world map. The upper left corner read Elwynn Forest, but it didn't show anything yet.
She brought up her compass and several overlapping symbols were shown to be close, but not yet discovered. She knew Stormwind shoulder be near, but not yet the right direction. That would probably be the best place for answers, but she was also probably going to look wierd to possible players in the game.
Crouching down to begin sneak mode, she headed towards the closest icon. She figured the sounds of battle were probably a raid and it was best she didn't get involved just yet. The first place she came to was identified by the Pip-Boy as the Stonefield Farm. A couple of farmer NPCs seemed to be quietly tending their crops, dispite the noise in the distance.
The hippogryh wasn't entirely sure of what was happening around him, this human and dog smelled funny. Though it did calm down after a moment when realizing the threat had left them. It watched the human go into her stealth mode, nothing new since the bird watches Kylila do it all the time. However, the hippogryph was much better at detecting such things, the slightest sound she made while going through the grass had the bird following her. She made him curious about her, this human was new and it brought strange things with it.
The farmers didn't seem to notice Josephine, although they did see the hyppogryph and the dog trailing behind it. Both of them laughed, a man and his wife knew the bird all to well.
"What are you doing out here Luathas? The princess will be worried if she finds you missing from roosts."
The wife came up to the creature and petted him on the head while the husband went inside for a moment, coming back out with some fresh fish. He tossed one at a time and laughed as the bird caught each one.
"It looks like you are bringing home another pet for the Princess... silly thing anyways. Don't you know you are suppose to eat the prey, not bring it home?"
They didn't push to hard on getting the dog to come out of the bushes, there were many stray dogs and wild wolves in the area so they knew better than to push an animal. This one did seem a little different from the typical dogs around here though, like it didn't fit into this world. The husband tossed some meat in the dogs direction while tossing the last chunk to the bird.
"That's it you silly bird, no more for you... Don't want Kylila getting upset if you don't eat your dinner tonight."
The bird obviously squawked in protest, nudging at the husband for more.
Meanwhile back at the castle, Kylila was quickly finding out that one doesn't really die.. at least it didn't seem that way. Like in the game, the healers healed and a few had their battle resurrection spells going off. She watched as a few that she knew she shot, came back into the raid and began fighting again.
However, she did cast an eagle eye spell on herself and noticed their armor actually did get damaged, the cloth bloodstained and ripped. It ended up being a bit graphic than she is used to seeing in the game. Another thing she noticed, the ones that had to run back took longer than normal. The rezzing portal wasn't that far away and it made her curious as to why it took so long for them to come back.
The other question that came to her asked how long can they go when their armor is completely damaged? Typically when you get down to zero you are pretty much worthless to the raid, basically fighting with bare fists.
"Hopefully they will get bored soon. It isn't like 'daddy dearest' is here for them kill or anything. There's nothing to be gained from this."
At least not that she knew of anyway, the game play has changed quite a bit since she has woken up. It then dawned on her....
"Damn it.... What if I am their goal? Man, it sucks to be a princess... Why me of all the people out there."
The game has gotten a bit more brutal and life like all the sudden, a kings daughter is always a prize worth getting. She had no chance to fight against the Orcs leader if that is the case and if things were this real, there's no telling what he'll do if he got his hands on her.
The undead likes to give their prisoners to their alchemist to play with. Ogres tend to just cook everyone for dinner and trolls had their voodoo things, turning people into their puppets. She wasn't quite sure what the Orcs would do, she always assumed they were just a bunch of brutes that like to go around killing.
"Screw him... If I am the reason for this raid.... I won't make it easy for him...."
Things were getting more and more interesting to her. Actually sitting and listening to other NPCs talk and act on their own made Josephine wonder what sort of glitch really happened. After a few moments, she stood up, surpising the farmers.
"Aren't you a strange one missy. Are you a new rogue or something? I don't recall seeing sort of armor before."
The husband had to take a step back for a moment, but didn't seem very surprised by Josephine's appearance. The wife tasked for a moment.
"Don't be rude honey. She must be lost, that's all. Were you looking for Stormwind Castle?"
Josephine grinned for a moment sheepishly.
"Yes, I'm a little lost, but I was trying to stay away from the battle."
She jerked her thumb for a moment towards the direction of the sounds of battle. The wife smiled and nodded.
"That's the castle alright. It sounds like it's just another raid by some Horde. They tend to stay clear of the farms and go straight for the castle. There's usually twenty to forty of them going at it."
Josephine frowned for a moment. She was able to take on at least five raiders in the other game, but she didn't think she would fare well against a whole raid group. Besides, she also hoped she wouldn't lose her gear to some random player.
"Well thank you for the information. I'll keep exploring and let you keep working."
She gave a smile before crouching down and continued heading towards another symbol that resembled another house.
Kylila was getting bored with this raid, the horde was pushing its way in more and more, yet they were in a bottle-neck area of the courtyard. She did have to laugh to herself thinking of a tug of war game from way up here, all that was missing was the rope.
She went to her bedroom door and peeked outside, sure enough Lahindra had placed two guards outside her room. With a heavy sigh, she quietly closed the door and saw the dragon sleeping on the bed. Then looking in the general direction of where it was blank on her map, knowing she has been out there before.
"Nothing like being a princess and a prisoner at the same time... I want go exploring."
She plopped onto the bed staring at the ceiling for a moment before turning to watch the dragon. Realizing for the first time that she could easily summon one of her mounts to get her out of here. Laughing at the idea of their reactions when they discover she is missing too and this raid was wasted time.
There wouldn't much traveling for her right now considering she just blew all her arrows just now. Before anything, she needed to get down to the ground and make it to the fletcher shop, which shouldn't be too difficult..... However..... one problem suddenly hit her. How does she summon her mounts now? It isn't like she can click on their icon like before and then curious to know if they will eat her. Especially the dragons, it's like they have actually seen each other before.
Thinking of how the map worked, she figured that perhaps it would be similar to that. For a couple of moments she tried to think of the mounts and the icons hoping that by some miracle, they would just pop up.
"Guess not... I suppose it would look funny if I was pushing invisible icons anyway."
Sitting up and looking towards the five bags that used to be in her inventory, shaking her head at them wondering how this is going to work now. She almost felt like a newbie all over again, having to relearn this game and how things work wasn't going to be easy anymore.
Since she didn't have much to do right then, Kylila got up and started to dump her bags out onto the floor. First things first, she had to figure out what was what and pack the most important things into one bag.
She had just discovered Goldshire when a new sound reached her ears. Dogmeat whined a little as he hunkered down beside Josephine. In the distance came the loud thunderous sound of metal rattling, the ground pounding beneath heavy hooves, gears whirring, and wings flapping. It took a few moments for the dust clouds in the distance to part to show her a very large group of mounted players coming down the road on various mounts, both ground and flying.
Her hud was showing different names above each one, all from the same guild. The tabard they wore were red and black with Raven wings. She smirked for a moment.
"Looks like the cavalry arrived. Go and get those guys."
She waited till the large raid group pass before continuing forward. Goldshire was busy, with low level players running around and few higher level ones. She continued along the road past the inn to the gypsy cart that was setup there. A few comments were made about Dogmeat, how he was a very high level and steer clear of him. Their was chatter of him being a special mob and the possibility of him dropping something good.
Josephine frowned for a moment, really not wanting to have to attack low level players for that. She grinned for a moment before thinking of a stealth boy. The floating hole opened sideways to limit it's visibility and she pulled out a small rectangular box with a strap and switch on the top. She placed it against Dogmeat and several gasps were heard as the dog disappeared.
She maneuvered them to beneath the cart as several players tried to run around to find the dog. They soon gave up in frustration.
Kylila kept talking to herself as she packed up the bag, it really didn't take her that long considering she kept her bags clean. The more she thought about it, one bag, maybe two at most is all she ever truly needed. In the process she did find a couple smaller packs, one with some whistles in it, the other held various collars. Each one had some indication on what they summoned, the collars had jewels on them and she can only assume that's how they were summoned.
Oddly enough, she also found a bow that she didn't recognize at all, it was a nice bow and so much better than the one she uses now. The only thing she could assume is that it dropped as part of the dragons loot. When she pulled it out of the bag, it grew into its full size and it felt like it was made of crystal with a faint glow to it.
Once that was done, Kylila went to the closet to change into some going out armor, even if she wasn't planning on going very far. It wasn't much to be considered armor and she always wondered just what it was protecting, the simple halter top was more like a leather bra that just covered her breast. The leggings were skin tight leather, although she had to admit it is better than those bikini bottoms she used to have.
On the computer the outfit was fine, however now, she highly doubted she could wear such a thing. The boots were nice at least and did come up to her knees. With the expansion they had it allowed her to transform the armor to look like Sylvana's armor. The cloak was the last thing to go on, pulling the hood over her head so she'll be less recognized when out and about. It was about this time she heard the guild's horn blowing in the distance, announcing their arrival in full force.
"I guess I better get out of here fast.... Other wise I'll never get out of here.. "
She pulled the pack over her shoulder and motioned for the dragon to crawl up her arm, letting him perch on her shoulder. Walking out the balcony she blew the whistle that she hoped was for the hippogryph, anything else she had would be seen. Especially the dragons. Luckily she saw the blue bird flying towards her and it squawked a greeting for her as he landed.
When they took off into the air, she wasn't too sure about being so high up and she held on a little too tight on the reigns, which kind of threw the bird off slightly. She of course apologized and regained some composure to land just outside of Goldshire. Patted the bird on the neck as she slid off its back, wasting no time to look through the collars she had. It wasn't easy to see which one indicated what pet, so she picked one with a diamond and amethyst on it.
"Not sure what to do, but here goes nothing..."
Setting the collar on the ground and she focused on the pet that she wanted, hoping it was the right one.
"Sir Chomp'a'lot...."
It took longer than she expected it too and she was about to give up to try something else when a white reptile finally appeared with the collar around its neck. She smiled and knelt down beside it, feeding it a chunk of meat as a greeting.
"There you are buddy, was wondering what took you so long."
It surprised her that the hippogryph was still by her side, though she didn't complain either as she started to walk down towards where some low level mobs were. She wanted to test things out and learn how to control her pet again. Like the map though, she saw the pets health off the corner of her eye and thinking that was pretty convenient.
She waited a few moments beneath the gypsy cart before crawling out on the backside. Josephine was almost standing up when a paladin decided to walk around behind the cart.
"Are you sure you saw the dog come this way?"
A male nightelf rogue came around from the other direction, answering.
"Yes I am sure."
The two stood there for a few more moments when they took off. Josephine winced as shouting from somewhere began broadcasting.
"HORDE! Help!"
She peeked around the cart to see the raid party that had been attacking was now coming through. Most of them were on mounts flying over head, but several were dive attacking the low levels. She knew they had no chance against the higher levels, so now would be a good time to try a little science vs. magic.
How she compared to these how level players, just a couple of 60s who were decided to camp goldshire for a few minutes, was going to be interesting. In FO4, she was usually able to get a couple of shots off while stealthed before getting some scaning activity from the enemy. However any attack in WoW would instantly break stealth. It was time to test which won out.
She finally decided on her second most powerful weapon she was carrying, a four-barreled, self-targeting and muzzled rocket launcher. Instead of having to pull it out, the weapon appeared in her hands. She lifted the scope up to her eye, focusing on the female Undead Warlock. HOlding her breathe, she lined up the crosshairs on the back of the female's head.
There was a soft woosh as the first rocket fired. It ripped through the air to hit directly on the female's head. The female was thrown forward as half of her hp was taken out. Barely letting the trigger up, the second rocket impact a second later as the female was trying to get up. Upon impact, something happened that should not have happened in WoW, the Warlock exploded into chunks of meat.
Josephine blinked as one of her perks decided to trigger, Bloody Mess where opponents occasionally exploded into juicy bits. The Undead hunter that was with the warlock was spinning in circles trying to find the source, which told Josephine her stealth was broken quite so easily.
Kylila wasn't that far away from Goldshire and heard the screams along with other commotions from the horde raid. This brought a smile to her lips, the low level mobs would have worked, however something a bit more closer to her own level would work. She perched ontop of a boulder scanning the raid for the more higher level players when she suddenly saw the undead warlock explode.
"hmmm That's new... This game has gotten more visual that's for sure.."
She smirked while watching the male next to the one explode freak out, looking around frantically. That's her target and she pin pointed him with her arrow, the visual of the target being sent to her pet. Just as she shot the first arrow, the lizard went charging for the undead.
The arrow stunned him for a moment as well as the charging lizard. He tried to cast a spell on his arrow as he went to shoot at Sir Chomp'a'lot, although he failed when her second arrow hit. Her arrows and spells were more powerful than his, his pet was off munching on another player not paying attention the white beast on its master.
The undead hunter saw where Kylila hit and redirected his winged serpent towards her, though she can see it was half health and wouldn't be difficult to kill. She pulled another arrow while casting a poisoning spell on it, shooting down the serpent. The arrows she was using now were the very last of her supply and she had to be careful of how many she shot now.
One arrow whizzed by her since her focus was on the serpent, though she was low enough on the boulder that it didn't hit her. Casting the same poison spell on another arrow, she shot it towards the undead hunter and hit him right in the chest. Within seconds he collapsed to the ground with bloody foam pouring from where the arrow buried into his chest.
Sir Chomp'a'lot came running back to her instead of attacking another target, which meant she still had control over his passive aggressive state. Sadly however, she didn't have nearly enough arrows to start another fight and she wasn't anywhere near a crafting station to make more.
"Seems like we are done here... C'mon lets get out here before we really get caught..."
She slid off the rock carefully and moved as quietly as possible as to not attract any attention to herself. In general, it would be easy in the game itself.... however.... now, things were a bit more complicated. Luckily the hippogryph had gotten distracted and wondered off to avoid the raids. Otherwise, sneaking around would be nearly impossible, though she did have big lizard following her around.
Josephine was about to target the second horde when the arrow came whizzing out to hit him. She kept the scope up and it took a couple of seconds for the second attacker to register on her hud as a diamond. Lowering the rocket launcher, it disappeared from her hands as she put it away.
"Not bad."
She commented quietly, giving Dogmeat a pet for a moment. She knew it was just a matter of time before the two horde players would respawn, probably looking to get revenge. That was if they would be able to find her. The rest of the raiding party had disappeared out of sight, so things were peaceful once more.
Watching the diamond move around, Josephine decided to follow after to see who had decided to join the party. She was soon moving quickly but stealthfull along through Goldshire with a dog right beside her. To any who looking, Dogmeat was just another wandering mob, one that didn't belong, but just another mob.
She couldn't really judge distances to her target, but she stayed back just enough to register whoever it was. It would help her explore and possibly figure out whoever this was.
Kylila walked off road and ducked behind the small hill when some of her guild members came running out towards Goldshire. They were no doubt looking for her at this point, looking at the sky as a few gryphons flew overhead. She did think about mounting up and getting out of here, however that would draw more attention and give them something to follow. Working her way towards the lake when it was all clear to give the lizard some reward for his good work.
On the way to the lake though, she would give Sir Chomp'a'lot a few commands and having him attack low level creatures. It was easier than she thought it would, pretty much like a training a dog. The icons on the computer made it so much easier, now that she is here like this, she realized just how easy this game was.
In her hands she carried the few collars that she had looking them over. The game only allowed you have a certain number of fighting pets and she had what she used most. The lizard is her main solo pet, he can take hits like mad and dps more than some of the others out there. The one she used for the dragon before the game fizzed out was more of a range, it couldn't handle half the pounding her lizard can, that one she mostly uses for raids and parties. The dragon fight though was purely a ranged fight so it worked out. The other three pets were just random ones that were rares and were decent enough to use every so often.
There was an abandoned cottage at the lake and Kylila decided to use that to hide in for a little while. It wouldn't take long before her guild gets bored of searching for her and they wouldn't be looking around here anyway. In fact it has been a long time since she's been in the low level areas, it was kind of nice and peaceful for a change. She would just wait for a short while and then get some arrows before heading out to explore.
She heard splashing and growling in the lake and she looked up, the baby dragon was attacking the huge lizard. It was all in good fun, though it wouldn't seem like it to the average person. Off in the short distance she took notice of a wolf that seemed to staring at her, it didn't fit in with the other wolves around here. Luckily it didn't appear to be threatening either, not like she couldn't handle the mobs around here.
Putting the collars to the side, she pulled out the sack with all the whistles in it and picked some random one, after all she needed to figure what one called what mount. It wasn't like she had icons anymore to tell her which mount she was summoning. Learning how to call her pets easier would have wait till later, the lizard was having too much fun and plus he was her favorite anyway.
She knew most of her mounts were dragons, each time a new one came out she was right on the path to getting it. One whistle though looked really strange, more in the shape of a key with a shrug she blew on it and waited to see what happens. In a matter of seconds the gnome made motorcycle came out of no where.
"Wow, ok... I guess even vehicles come when called...."
Keeping her distance, Josephine watching this strange hunter. Unlike the other npcs or players she had seen, there was no name plate appearing over her. That might something wasn't quite right, at least to her. Maybe it was another possible glitch, but she was needing to find out.
Her other actions were interesting as well. Josephine figured a normal player would know exactly what they were doing, although this hunter was acting like a fresh new player. The pets that were summoned did vary in levels between each, but a handful were high level and well trained.
She did give a little smirk seeing the gnome motorcycle called up. She had never been able to obtain the vehicles like that, but then she had not played just to collect things for achievements. That also made her wonder if her vertibird signal grenades worked or the vertibird for that matter. It was good for quick travel between points, but not like a mount. However she really couldn't it here since there wasn't a large enough clearing.
She knew she would have to expose her presence soon, but she wasn't sure when would be a good time.
The time she spent out here had her wondering where the true King of Stormwind had gone off too, why it was her pathetic guild leader that had control over the castle. Every so often she'd get flooded with some memories of a past she didn't know whether or not was real. For some reason it felt as if she was actually raised here and at times those strange memories had her wondering if she truly was the princess here. Though, she knew full well that the guild leader wasn't the real King, nor was he really her father. Of course, this was just a game so even with that, the King of Stormwind wouldn't be her father either.... At least that's what she kept telling herself.
These strange thoughts had her head shaking in disbelief as Kylila went through all the mount whistles and also discovered an easier way of summoning through the collars. The mounts had their own portals they came from, the dragons had huge portals and were extravagant where the others had less impressive ports. All in all, she thought that was fairly convenient and summoning everything came easier.
The whole time she kept an eye on that wolf in the bushes, seeing that it was watching her the whole time and it was higher level than the normal mobs around here. It laid down and appeared to be bored for now, it had a green aura around it which meant it was friendly. There were moments when she thought about taming it, though she couldn't do that if it was friendly. Which turned into another thought that it might be someone elses' pet, though she didn't think the hunters stealth was all that great.
There were a few options she could take here and all of them seemed fairly entertaining to her and it wasn't like she was too much of a hurry. The mounts and fighting pets had been put away all except for the motorcycle and she looked through the collars thinking of that wolf, a sly grin crept on her lips as she summoned her white four tailed fox. Kylila sent the fox towards the bushes to snoop around and its reaction told her someone was in there.
Instead of doing anything about it, she let the fox play a bit to see if it'll coax the wolf to play with it and perhaps who ever hid in the bushes would feel less threatened. She did think about shooting an arrow into the bushes as a warning, but that would have defeated the purpose of 'playing nice'. And honestly, she wasn't in the mood to fight right now as she was still trying to get her own bearings straighten out.
Josephine smirked and suppressed a giggle as the fox came towards her. Dogmeat didn't have the ability to stealth, so of course his position was given away. Though with the way Josephine tended to play, her companions were more the bait than anything. After all, they really didn't die, just slumped over once they ran out of hp until healed or the end of battle.
"Go on, go ahead."
Josephine whispered softly to the dog. Dogmeat tilted his head before getting up and sniffing at the fox. He gave a bark before running after the fox. The dog played with the fox, chasing after her for a few minutes. When Dogmeat returned, Josephine took a deep breathe for a moment.
Following after the stranger made her feel very much like a stalker, not exactly what she had in mind. Well, if she was going to get anywhere, it was now or never. With one final breathe, she rose up from the crouch, standing up. She lifted her googles up, but not off completely so she could actually see properly.
Kylila watched for a few moments as the two pets played and she started to second guess the idea that someone was hiding in the bushes. It didn't make sense for a wolf of that level to be hanging around here and it didn't fit the description of the other wild wolves here. Just when Kylila thought about taking off a figure stood up from the bushes and her first reaction was a little smirk. She knew someone hid in the bushes, not only did the wolf give them away, she felt their eyes watching her.
The second reaction however came the second she got a better look at the person in front of her, blinking with a mixture of confusion and shock. There were far too many features on this person that reminded her of the true King to Stormwind, all except for the armor.... and female... Then again this game has been very glitchy all the sudden, it would explain why he hasn't been around.
"...... Daddy?"
She blinked again unable to believe she just said that outloud, though it came so naturally like she's been calling this person that for a long time.
"Why are you out here and hiding? Kings don't need to sneak around..."
Kylila finally got to her feet and walked up to Josephine to get a better look at her, checking out the armor she wore and looking back towards the dog. Nothing added up other than Kylila was certain that Josephine had of been her father and the true King here.
"Thing have been strange since I woke up and I've been wondering where you ran off too... Daddy."
Before Kylila could think about it too much she wrapped her arms around Josephine and hugged her tightly, just like she would with her own father. Acting like she hasn't seen her in ages and though her own actions shocked her, Josephine had some strange familiarity that Kylila couldn't quite explain.
Kylila's reactions were not were she had expected to happen, eliciting her own thoughts and reactions. Those were mostly of shock and confusion. Mainly that of having another player call her Daddy. Clearly she should have been seen as female. She figured the girl was playing with her, trying to role play some fantasy of hers. Had she landed in one of the role-playing servers now? And then calling her the King. The King of Stormwind?
She didn't really have much time to react as Kylila suddenly hugged her tightly. Things were a bit confusing for her, but she felt things could be sorted out very shortly. A very good explaination of things should clear things right up, later. So that Kylila wouldn't get suspicious something was wrong, she hugged her back. She held the hug for a moment and did what a father might do, kiss the elf on the forehead lightly.
"I thought I should go out for a bit. Staying around the castle gets a bit stuffy and boring at times. I just didn't want to get recognized while I was outside, so I decided to sneak around for a bit."
There was another question that was bugging Josephine, but that was a more private matter to be address later. She let go of the hug before stepping back. Concentrating for a moment, a series of whirring filled the air as the back of her power suit opened completely and she stepped out of it for the time being. It closed up once more as Josephine stepped to the side and just sat down on the ground.
Kylila stood there stunned for a moment watching as the armor moved on its own and Josephine stepped away from it. It wasn't like anything she knew from any armor in the game, though shaking her head, Kylila sat next to her.
"The guild decided to take control over things in your absence. I guess they assumed you weren't coming back."
There were many questions she wanted to ask and yet, they would most likely make her sound foolish if she asked about game related glitches. The biggest one is wanting to know if the glitch had turned her father into a female character, though there is no way to ask that without it coming out all kinds of wrong. Josephine even had a scent that seemed familiar in which only brought out more questions.
"Has things been.... I don't know... Different to you?"
She made the question simple enough and hopefully it wouldn't make her sound too overly foolish. With a sigh, Kylila took off the shoulder pads as they were too bulky for her and soon took off her boots to put her feet in the water.
"I needed to get out of the castle too, the guild leader likes to me more like a prisoner. I was about to head out to go exploring a bit. There's a recipe for new arrows that I've been wanting to get as well."
Taking a glance over at Josephine and smiled softly, recalling what she said about the castle being stuffy.
"Would you like to go with me? I got plenty of room in the bike."
She pointed to the motorcycle with the sidecar.
She took a deep breathe for a moment, taking in the air around her for a moment. She wasn't sure that she should spoil things by trying to correct Kylila at her observations. Deciding to play things safe, she went along with it. After all, she was probably going to have to show her The Castle sometime.
"If you don't like it there, maybe it's time for you to move to someplace else. I'm sure the guild would get along fine if you weren't always there."
Another thought that came to mind was Kylila was an elf, but in the game, the king and queen of Stormwind had both been human. Well, it was too late to argue with the way things were setup. They were probably going to just get wierder.
"Things are different, but I couldn't say if they are good or bad. We probably don't have any control, so best to just go along with the way things are."
She smiled and nodded at the suggestion of going exploring some more. She stood up, dusting herself off for a moment. She also strecthed herself out a bit, her large chest bouncing a bit before she straightened. She pressed a button on the back of her suit before it opened for her. She stepped inside and the suit hugged her once more.
"You should drive, it's been awile since I used one of those. And don't worry about Dogmeat."
She rubbing the dog's head for a moment before he barked happily. Even if one of the companions fell behind, they always managed to teleport to her a short time later.
"After you my dear."
