Just without the idiots (not you of course), losers (not you either) and assholes (naturally not you) who love to put in their useless 2 cents worth.

Would like to find a place with real people who know how to treat others.

No need to reply here because then they will all know. Just PM me :)

If you get an answer that involves using a computer, someone is lying to you.

It's not my fault I'm middle aged and immature. No need for you to be calling me names. PS I am real.

I joined Lit around 10 years ago. In that time I've been invited to join several other boards originated and populated by people looking for a place without all of the drama, political rage and general human dysfunction that you are reacting to here.

Interestingly, most of the people on those other sites still maintained some affiliation with Lit, but to really varying degrees. They were generally really positive places, and maintained higher standards of interpersonal conduct than you regularly see on display here. Much, much less of the crass loutishness and disregard. People still occasionally were banned -- though not like here, where they come back like a bad penny only to offend again. (How many times has Ishmael been banned in the last year? It's like he's Laurel's drunk uncle and she feels bad for him and invites him to New Year's again next year.) Not to mention all of the alts.

The last of those boards I was a part of closed a year-or-so previously. They don't have the population and variety Lit has, and which are probably necessary to maintain a momentum. Or, maybe there are many others still in existence, and to which I was just not invited. Of course, the aggressive, sarcastic and impressively petulant responses you receive just for asking your question are par for the course.

There are good people here who are interesting and fun to talk to, and there is your ignore button for the rest. :)

I just tell the idiots off and put them on ignore. I don't actually have a huge ignore list. I think I have maybe four people on it.

Mine reads like the Manhattan phone book. Like the phone book, I suspect a great deal of those idiots are "Disconnected. No further information available about _______."

Mine was a lot like that. Plus people keep making similar new profile names. SO, one day I decided to start over. So now I have 4 people on it. It takes a lot for me to put a person on ignore. Even if I tell them off I may just ignore them for a while and not put them there. Then again there were a lot more people on here back when I joined.

There's another 17 year old vBB based bulletin board that you can discuss anything at, and disagree with people and not get banned because you pissed off a friend of the people in power?

Let me know!

Sensible Erection was good but now it's gone.

Most of the concerns are about the General Board. Try some of Literotica's other forums for (slightly) less drama and some more civilised conduct.

But most don't have the number of participants nor the high frequency of posts. The foreign language ones can be very slow indeed.

The experience of the General Board can be greatly improved by putting fewer than 10 people on ignore.

I only have one on that list at present, but there is a strong candidate for number two.

For better or worse, Lit has always been defined by the GB.

All boards are alike. 1/3rd of posters are lame retards, 1/3rd are folks you wanna fuck, and 1/3rd are folks who wouldn't fuck you on a bet.
