Have you read the details? He specifically chose these women because they're socioeconomic and criminal backgrounds made them the victims who wouldn't tell. He'd still be doing this if he hadn't messed up and picked a woman who did tell, and thanks to her, others were able to have a voice and get justice.

Almost a total media blackout until the very end, for pretty much the same reasons. Black and other social media was on it from the beginning, practically the only reason most people knew about it period...and since major news only jumped on it after the verdict, they've been getting the appropriate scathing, by some celebs as well.
That being said, this Holtzclaw shitstain was a true monster who honestly believed he was going to get away with this. That's how fucked up justice is for black women in this country. The jury was stacked against their odds in this, which is why he was bawling like a baby at the end when the tables flipped on his ass. Best caveat was that it happened on his birthday. Couldn't have been a better gift.

We had a cop like that here a few years ago. My buddy's neighbor arrested him. He told the story at poker a couple weeks ago. He's still proud of taking the shitbag down, and I commended him as a member of the community.

The only reason he was caught was he raped a black woman with no record who happened to be assigned detectives who believed her.
