Written Word

The Written Word
Here I sit,
by candle light sunder.
Eyes closed shut,
in mental pose.
Upon the keyboard,
my hands composed.
As words flow like eroding rivers;
Speaking words of never ending emotion …
taint and sorrow …love and laughter …
life and death.
The beating of my soul,
for I am, the written word.

To breathe into life
Tales of summer dreams …And winters death
Tales of loving life …And deaths despair
Tales of painted rainbows …And broken wings
Tales of buoyant euphoria …And sadistic woes
Tales of innocents …And tainted sorrows
Tales of emotion …And devouring pain
The calling of my soul,
for I am, the written word

Mystical creations of dreams unknown,
spaces in time where words are composed.
In sentences …in lines …in rhyme and form,
To feel … to dream …to weep …to morn …
Wishful words in verse to feel …
to love …to live …to breathe …
A sacred noun …a sacred verb …a sacred word …
for I am, the written word.

Raging like a midnight storm,
with the use of a single word,
to have the power to heal or to bind.
Speaking of sacred emotions,
cast with words unrefined, and
painted on wishes of tomorrow.
Where passions and powers can be felt,
where faith and dreams are reborn,
to find inspiration to fly or the courage to dream.
To lay siege to the emotions rapt inside,
striving for a mind and a voice to be heard.
Scribed in blood, every word used upon my soul,
for I am, the power of the written word.

Salvation in Chains

Salvation in Chains

I try …try so hard
To be sane
Just like the rest
But they don’t know my reign

I wait for him
Salvation in chains
To bind my soul
To fix my pains

I need it more
Must refrain
From my mind
All I hide inside

My flesh is sin
Distained in scars
Sliced from tears
Enclosed in my heart

I must play
Must pay with flesh
In pain to contain
My yearning ways

Things I’ve done
I can’t comprehend
To save my mind
That cannot mend

I’ve hurt myself
Put on display
My sainted scars
I bear it all to pay

To ease my mind
Taken from my flesh
In my silken sheets
Of bloody death

Bound in celibacy
To subdue them all
Must contain every thought
Must stop them all

A carving of my life
Embraced by shame
Coursing my soul with
My saving pain

While I wait
For him
My lustful
Salvation in chains

Of Me

Of Me

Here are my words
Part of me generously given
Scribed pictures of my life
Bound by emotions
That live inside of me
From this very moment
To every waking second
Of my past

All are sacred
Without restraints
Or reservations
As I am bound in them
To the depths of which
Even I cannot comprehend
My engraved rosaries
Painted by heart

They are fire
They are pain
They are sorrow
That bleeds from my veins

They are strong and fierce
Raging with the powers
Drawn upon life through sin and love
Bound on my crucifix …alive
As a collar adorning my neck
Entangled by the scorning
Of the mid summers sun
In the depths of hell

They are ice
They are bold
They are misery
In the shattering of my soul

They are weak and feeble
Cast in death of winters first kiss
Coveted in frail panes of shame
Descending with tempered taint
Devoured in distained ashes of snow
Buried in sheets of fury and hail
In a veil freshly adorned of misery

They are soft
They are gentle
They are genuine
To the elation of my tainted mantle

They are sublime and sweet
Whispering in spring winds
Ascended from the rebirth of innocence
And the purging of the whole world within
Lifted from the depths of my own hell
Sanctified and carried by the wings of angels
To the freedom of my dreams

The breathe in my being
The existence in my soul
The symphony of my life
The rapture of my mind
All bound by the love in my heart
Held in reserve upon my secrets
And kept by my creation
As every poem written
Is a part of me …
All of me
The completion
Of me

Coveted in a Dream

Coveted in a Dream

I remember a time
When I dreamed of you
My white knight in shining armor
My prince and savior

Protected by your oppression
Decorated as a porcelain doll
Frail, and feeble, and weak
As your goddess, as a saint

Adorned with glorious favor
Placed upon your pedestal
Coated in shimmering jewels
Of your catered affections

Kept in untouchable services
Sanctified upon sweet notions
In such sublime innocence
Of a child’s dream conceived

But now I see you
What you have become
In my minds grand view
My princely savior

In your leather and chains
With your catered whips
In the depths of my cursive oppressions
Bound as a crux upon my soul

Taking me from my pedestal
Dropped and broken to my knees
Adorning your crimson stings
As lipstick to my porcelain frame

My mind tells me to run
I want to run, to hide
To flee as a craven child
To be sane, to be safe

It tells me you are evil
The core of my greatest sin
The devil of my dreams
Sent from hell to sever me

But my heart does implore
The musky scent of your sin
It boils like a devils plague
To the decadent touch of pain

My body tells me no!
It must NOT run, will NOT run
I will taste my salty blood
Upon your purging lips of flame

Oh how it cries for you
Screaming like a ravished whore
Seeping from the depths of hell
Begging, needing for more

The shattering of my innocence
To the breaking of my porcelain shame
The waking freedom of my sexuality
Coveted in a dream of you conceived

His Grace - Bound in Sin from challenge

have updated both though since the posting of the challenge! ...you guys think his grace is to cliché????

His Grace

Bound
Collared
Veiled from vision
Splayed in pose
Restrained

Exquisite
Raw domination
In the debauchery of senses
Obscured by the rule of control
The fatal potency rapt
In the thrones of his hand

Sublime submission
Tempered on your body
Obscene in breathless cries
The feral taction of his touch
To the edging of your soul
In the absolution of power
Given to the core of sensations
When the world ceases to exist

You are no longer of flesh
No longer bound or restrained
No longer imprisoned by self
You are free as the wind
You are fierce and trembling
Caressing oblivions exhilaration
Ecstasy is your name

Euphoria

A spasm raging in the veins of life
The whimpered breathe of seduction
Bedeviled by his will kept by his fingers
And preserved by his grace

Bound in Sin

To you I must confess
The burdens on my chest
And as I bear this cross
Find solace from my guilt

My lips have tasted sin
As I have spoken them
Accepted with kisses
The bitter fruit of man

My eyes have looked on sin
With envy and desire
Nights in lust, I have spent
Begging to be sired

My hands carry the sin
From his will to my bed
To touch upon my flesh
The silken scarf’s of him

My flesh has consumed sin
Upon and within me
The caustic ruin of pain
In forfeit of myself

My soul accepts the sin
Coveted in my heart
The purging of my soul
In ecstasy of life

To you I must confess
The burdens on my chest
And as I bear this cross
Know, I am bound in sin

Nice reading, it fits so well with the piece.

My desktop mic records horribly as well, fortunately my laptop has never given me any trouble.

Deviant Soul

Deviant Soul

Touch now my broken soul,
for it bleeds! Like a defiled nightmare.
Tears flow like river streams,
I am the demons dream.

Catered flesh upon disgraceful needs,
enraged with erotic passions.
Tempered to neurotic obsessions,
taste now – the thrashing of my core.

Passions burn, desires pour,
embers of my blazing mind,
raging on my barren flesh,
desires of a sadistic lust.

Molten tears purge my essence,
to the depths of a new hell,
my mortal sins - be fed,
to the scorning fires of my sex.

Painted dreams on broken wings,
tainted and torn – I need!
A devouring obsession; a lustful seduction;
A passion to please.

Bear now my adorning heart,
for it feels! Upon bended knees,
to my Masters control,
for, I am his deviant soul

Bleed for You

Bleed for You

My un-begotten sin
Cast in pain, bound in shame
From the tongue of your demons
My soul is tamed

Your words cast in stone
Seized with chains and lace
As you call out my secrets
My demons disgrace

Some things are better
Left forever unknown
The secrets you hold
The gods could never know

Standing on the precipice
My demons consent
To your painted pictures
Of hells descent

Very few can tempt me
As you do
Very few are bound
To the darkness as you

My soul you have claimed
Chained in a bed of tears
The mirth of my being
Kept in your waking fear

Cast from your finger tips
Every drop of sin, every word spewed
Crucified on my lips
As I bleed! Bleed for you

The Broken One

The Broken One

Bring forth a master
That defines my name
In the light of his wills
I will be reborn again

To fly for once
On the devils wings
The kiss of a mortal hand
Winds of a vision it brings

Forgive me my crimes
I bear the spite of infamy
As I am a lusting soul
Bound in my empathy

Taste my tears
Sweet like honey dew
Sublime and innocent
Waiting for you

Upon the lips of sin
My heart is sung
Weighted in words of verse
To taint the sun

As I am
The broken one

as each wind of rope wraps
the delicate balance of tentative
assertion becomes clearer

new to the coarseness
new to the bond we tie tight
on your knees as eyes plead
I want to steal your lips, to plunder them
to drink down in greedy gulps the sounds
of your whimpers, to consume the trust
behind the fear

to stroke our kinks and test the limits
because vanilla became passé long ago

submissive origami

It takes imagination to create
a little force to crease
to bend in ways not known before
to ponder a moment
in origami silence

I know you
pliable, willing to fold
your edges into a shape designed
to stir tears in my eyes
ellicit a hunger for more

to find the boundaries
of your submission
how many ways you can bend
but not break

a crane folded delicate and tight
soars for me into night

Black and grey shadows
add depth to taloned feet
beak wide in shill scream
moves but frozen mid descent
trace the lines on her side as
her scream drips of the tip
of my tongue

aged cinnamon spiced candles
cast pin prick dots that flicker
on the wall
as I rasp coarse wool
over twin peaks
a gasp as she grasps
the ties that bind

a greedy crunch
as her teeth crush
raw raspberries
I lick the juice from
her chin
savour the flavour of
her mouth, tart, sweet

hands sink into
satin depths
teeth nibble on neck
and ear lobes
whispers shiver down her spine

her heat screams
like howling wind through the pines

my hands rub to ease aching muscles
avoid cramps
because we are here all night.

Shack in the Woods on a Snowy Evening

It's just a game, of course. You know
We're bored, stuck in with all this snow.
And when Sin disdains Truth for Dare,
Her face takes on a happy glow.

I hold her wrists and pull her hair.
Bernardo ties her to the chair.
She whimpers once, then quiets down,
And since we're two, I'll guess we'll share.

She's dressed in just a flimsy gown,
An odd sight here in shantytown,
But I guess for this kind of date,
Appropriate for slumming down

With Bern and me, as we debate
What punishments befall her fate.
Though poor, we'll strive to not be cheap;
We'll make her squirm, and fret, and wait.

The carpet's shag, and dark and deep.
We've expectations now to meet.
And hours of fun before we sleep.
And hours of fun before we sleep.

so ...i have ventured so far outside of my box as a reply to this poem sir ...though i must say your skill with words is well way beyond my level at the moment :P hopefully you will enjoy!

I pray you Sir
If you know me
Know me well

Though pliable
Willing to fold
Shaped and molded
Bended in ways unknown
In loyalty to each precise line
Crafted in your image
I would hold

Though fear may take me
In arrays of geometric forms
Tis but a diligent choice
A wishful dream conceived
To be created and creased

Held fast in silence
In sublime submission
Folded to that perfect perfection
To quench the origami
Of our every tempted edge

Ebonized my ink will run
As a quire for your quill
The wafer thin fibers to hold
The sacred blotches of colored hues

Painted crimson reds
And sweltering shades of blue
For the pulp in my canvas
Smudged and smeared
Would still your hungered tears

As the imagined one
Craned and creased
to the tempered bends
And willing breaks
In obedience for you

Emptiness

There’s madness in my mind
In depths of darkness it hides
Creeping through the sainted crevices
Stalking in the sulky shadows
Inserting its unholy fears
Tempting my quant sanity
As a rusted nail festering in my soul
With its unjust hatred defined
Begging for a reason to die

Just another drop of blood
In the pool of tainted misery
The never ending plague
Engraved with the pains of sorrow
The burning inflictions of my soul
With all the devouring famine inside

I am its hated life of shame
I am the emptiness of tomorrow

A game? Perhaps!
Maybe not.
As you are two
I am only one

I will tease and taunt
And push you both this day
All those big red buttons
A slave should never play
I will play them all
And I will pay

Let me tempt
Your “stout” grip of fate
The fury of your beastly rage
As the divine punishments a-wait

Burn with me tonight
For a vixen whore
Too must play

No whimpers
No cries or pleas
Will surface from my lips
As I pray your binds hold tight
As I will fiercely fight

I will infuriate with curses and foul-tes
That would damn the devils ears
Calling out your vile “manly” names
“Ha ha ha!”
As part of the deviant game

I will put fuel in your passions
As an atomic bomb in your feeble flesh
Waiting to explode
How well can you hold?

I will taste the salty ragged sins
Within the crevices of my soured blood
In the corruption of your souls
As I tempt the powers you hold

We shall exceed those expectations
To bring your demons to their knees
Where all men quiver in the sanctity of fear
In such extenuating eruptions
As I aim to please

I am Free

lol Trix even my happy pieces are tainted :P ...for you dear!

I am Free

I stood before the memories of old
In my blessed childhood home

On bended knees
I did fall
Cast in tears
In tattered pose

As memories swelled
Of joyous dreams
And wishful things

As before my eyes
I saw sanctified beauty
Written on the sea
Of the dancing waves
So strong and free

Lost in memories
In faith and dreams
Before the taint came
And took from me
All the beauty
That I now see

Is it possible?
Could it be?
Can we believe as we once did?
In a dream of innocence

Reflections of a time
When the world stood still
In awe of life
And the beauty of its seams

In a time of remembrance
Of the forgotten
I watched waves roll in
Caressing the sand and rocky shores
In its image of perfect perfection

I drifted through this memory
Of the waves in their sacred dance
The gentle touch of its cleansing powers
In the breathless beauty of the sea

I remembered what the world could be
Finally at last I am free.

Forget the Forgotten

Forget the Forgotten

Not a soul in the darkness
To hear such baneful cries
When lost and chained to the void of life
And all your broken mind screams is whys?

Fearing the possibility of this day to come
When you remember the forgotten words
Of the bitter secrets you attempted to erase
Guarded in verve and vitality of the devils curse

In the oblivion of your vanished memories
Lapsed and revered in time forever pushed aside
Alone in emptiness bound in utter darkness
You’ve spent and kept your pitiful existence

Crafted in your own bitter destruction
To the epitome of given and gifted sorrow
Embracing gingerly your soured distained soul
Attempting to save all that was once sweet and nice

As you kneel before the hands of fate
Tearing flesh and sin on scornful daggers of stone
Scathed by bloody tears of repulsive remembrance
Merely begging to forget the forgotten again

A Timid Yes

A Timid Yes

Raging storms,
billowing winds,
winters kiss descends.

Foreign words,
whispered in the dark,
upon ears of fear.

Tempted fates,
of wanton hands,
on barren flesh.

Shallow breathes,
the wakening sin,
of innocence undone.

To the loss,
of virtues tears,
forever unknown.

Caressed and
condoned,
from the lips.

Broken,
with a timid,
Yes.

In judgment,
they sat on my soul,
bound with sticks and stones,
for reasons unknown.

An outcast,
different and estranged,
from their normal ways,
in solitude kept alone.

The vigor of pain,
adorned with their hate,
sentenced in silence,
before they knew my name.

In shame defined,
painted with disgrace,
amused by my tears,
in their little rat race

An effigy to their pride,
feeding on my fears,
to be condemned,
unjustly by my peers

We Are Grief

We Are Grief

We who remember
Carried in our minds
Always and forever

Sweet breath of life
As the gods
Call their number

In minutes and days
The passing of time
The doctors say

Sent home to die
Enough morphine
To end all time

Lost to the infection
The cancer inside
As pain never dies

Flesh and mind
Fading away
Gone in a day

Stilled in silence
Kissed in death
Tears of loss

Time is lost
As they are free
And we are grief

Hi Sin.

First off, if you have recently lost someone, I'm sorry.

I really like that you are writing on a somewhat different topic than usual here. Your poem feels real to me and I especially think your ending is good--it conveys a sophisticated idea. There's a typo (it's breath, not breathe), and I think your title needs a subject to go with the verb "are," like We Are Grief. But you have some good, interesting ideas going on here and I know you welcome feedback, so I shared some. Just my opinion, of course.
