For the past 6 months Michelle had been the gopher for the receptionist staff but today, she was moving up. Even though it was only to the helper of the secretary for the bigger bosses, the owners, it was still something.
And she felt damn proud.
Although it was only a small step up, she finally felt her life was starting to change for the better. She was still in college, studying business, and working at the investment firm at the same time.
No one knew her really. Well, no one really cared, that much she came to the conclusion of. It didn't matter. She did her job and went home to study. That was it. She was familiar with every one at the firm, especially the owners and top dogs. But of course, they didn't know her.
