In that time I have NEVER heard of anyone having an adverse reaction to it. A few positive points are it is easily washed out, it leaves NO stain, remains semi solid at room temperature yet melts and remains liquid at "body temperature", tastes yummy, AND if you forget and leave it sitting on the kitchen counter, NO BIG DEAL. Everyone will just think you are into healthy cooking.
