Since the death of his wife several months ago Matt Stone had seriously contemplated whether to keep the house or sell it. So many memories in that house, most of them good. He and Barbara had a great life together for many years. But now that was past. He knew he needed change in his life, but he wasn't sure what changes. Maybe he should sell the house and start anew. However he also knew that selling the house would not fill the void in his heart from losing Barbara.
Matt was still a passionate man. He had a passion for work and was a very successful architect. And he had a passion for play. He loved the outdoors and frequently went camping, hiking, swimming, and kayaking. These activities keep his 6 foot, 185 pound body fit and trim. His work and the loss of his wife, resulted in a few gray hairs, too early in life.
Barbara had been beautiful and sensuous. Always sexy. Always a flirt. She helped make their sex life plentiful and varied. They both loved sex and enjoyed it many ways. When she died, so did his sex life. Matt hadn't had sex, or even seriously looked at a woman since. He knew he needed to get 'back in the saddle'. However he didn't want a replacement Barbara. There wasn't another woman that could replace her. He pondered what he wanted, what he needed. Possibly a younger woman to rekindle his own youthful spirit.
Matt and his wife designed and built their home 20 years ago to take advantage of the view. It was a two story house, on a hill side. The downhill neighbor's house was a single story home, set enough lower down the hill that his home office on the second story of his home had a fabulous view over the neighbor's house of the valley and the hills in the distance.
It also had a view directly into the bedroom of the neighbor's college-age daughter, Jennifer.
