this is one of the most stupid decisions I've ever heard.

Officials are also reported to be happy that the children could contact their mother using a baby monitor if they needed to get out in the middle of the night.

The grandmother of the children, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has criticised the fact the child abuser could move in just months after he was described by social workers as a “continuing risk”. ''

truthfully, if I found out that my new husband had been convicted of such crimes, I would be heartbroken at the thought of leaving a new marriage. In my opinion though.. it should have never made it to the court. He should have offered (and was probably legally required) to stay away as long as kids were in the home.
 
I found that fruits and nuts rarely fall far from their tree. That attraction to pedophiles is an inherited trait passed from ma to sis. Rats beget rats, snakes beget snakes.

Youd be amazed at how many moms get pissed when you command their daughters to get the hell off you.

I've given up on expecting CPS (Child Protective Services - different states have different TLA's) to act in any rational manner. I've seen children removed from parental custody for no justifiable reason while other children are left in dangerous circumstances. It almost appears that the decision is made by a flip of the coin as opposed to the facts of the case.

I thought this was going to be about the Maryland parents who had their kids taken away by CPS for letting them walk home alone from a park 2 blocks away.
They got them back, but now the parents aren't allowed to let their kids go outside without them.
 
I posted it before: 15 years ago I hadda court case where the state tried to place a 17 year old girl with her lesbian lover (a school teacher). I was the plaintiff for the state but said to the judge, WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT? WE CANT PLACE A MINOR WITH AN ADULT SEXUAL PARTNER. And he threw the case out. But the sheriff and school and attorney general and CPS thought it was wonderful. Mostly because the LGBT freaks wanted it. It got rolling when Ma made the girl stay away from the teacher. Then the LGBT freaks made numerous abuse allegations against ma and pa.

The LGBT freaks are sexual politicians, and my sworn enemies.

I sort of agree... the urges in themselves are not a crime. can any of us help who we are attracted to? so I have sympathy for any paedophile who has never and would never give in to the urges. and perhaps if they felt safer coming forward for support, society might prevent more from offending.

yeah. sexual attraction isn't a choice, and there are so many people out there who struggle with this disorder, feeling like they're bad and evil just because of how they feel, when it's not their fault. if they don't act on it, they haven't done anything wrong, but there are zero systems in place to help them.

Perhaps there are extenuating circumstances in this case , but I fear this is a disaster waiting to happen .

Not that I approve, but why not? We've "normalized" pretty much everything else. Homosexuality, cross-dressing, transgender... Pedophilia is just next in line.

It's always utopian to believe that a significant number of folks who sexually get off fantasizing about, or acting out with children can't help themselves, that they don't really enjoy it...

...when they most certainly do, even while fully comprehending how much, by doing so, they're violating not only their victim's individual liberty but also most definitely breaking the collective's laws.

I would argue that just as with addicts of any type, a very, very small number of pedos are psychologically unable to not fantasize and/or act their violating impulses...

...rather, like the overwhelming majority of other addicts, pedos do it because they enjoy it so much and will stop their self-destructive and other individual-harming activity only when they reach their point of not wanting to do it anymore.
