Michelle "Missy" Terrance, age 24, Native of Northern California.
Narrated Opening...
"64 days since the Emergency broadcasts stopped. 64 days since every form of transportation came to a screeching halt. 64 days since everything as we know it came to a 'dead' end. The dead have brought chaos and now they rule with a firm fist. Anyone that hoped to survive by being rescued were turned away -- shot, mutilated, destroyed on sight -- out of fear that they were infected. Brother turned against brother; mothers cast their children out and friends betrayed those close to them. Fear. Fear ran rampant through the many cities and towns on this lonesome blue planet. Cries could be heard even after many places grew silent. But they didn't last long. Sure there are survivors, but they kill to keep from being killed. Everyone has grown paranoid in the midst of Hell. But heck, wouldn't you if something like this were to happen? That's where I come in. The person literally feeling like the last woman on Earth. No men seen for days. Were there any left? I didn't know, but I set out from San Francisco to find out."
I looked into the mirror one last time. It wasn't truly my mirror. I was hiding out in a small loft, barricaded inside to fend off the invading zombies. Yep, you got it. Zombies are walking the Earth. And right now, I'm hiding from them. "Fuck, wish I had some eyeliner. My eyes are too bright.." I looked away from the mirror and stuffed more granola bars into the backpack I had. I was basically trespassing in this apartment. I'm not even from San Francisco. I was foolish enough to believe in the hype of the ships leaving this place, taking sanctuary on the open seas. But it ended up being false and the other survivors that I was running with turned after being overcome by the horde that arrived soon after the small sailboats that had sent out the message over the radio waves left.
I picked up the baseball bat that I had kept with me for a majority of this Hell and headed out. I needed to find refuge somewhere and this was just not cutting it. Somehow there had to be someone willing to pair up with me. Hell, I couldn't be the only human left now, could I? I went out the back of the building, hoping to avoid a majority of them. It was quiet. Almost too quiet. I turned a corner and came face to face with one of the sick motherfuckers. "Oh fucking hell.." I said as I backed up. "Time to be obliterated, mofo!" I swung the bat and knocked its head clean off. I had gotten a little better at that. But one thing went wrong with this decapitation. I fucking hit a street pole.
"Oh crap," I said as I ran past the bleeding body. They were on my ass and I had to hide once again. I couldn't find a place that wasn't boarded up. I was royally screwed at this point. That's when I bumped into someone. The zombies chasing my ass, I thought I had bumped into an infected. But it was a man. He took hold of my hand and dragged me along, taking me into a deserted store. The zombies ran past. It was as if they couldn't even tell that I wasn't in front of them. I was panting hard then I looked up to him. "Thanks for saving my ass back there.. I'm Missy.." I said extending my hand out to him.
