I don't get it. So the site cowsliger posted is a fake PB site but the torrent files are real? I barely used a few times years ago.

On a side note: I forgot something bad ass I can do with my Boxee Box. I can load an AVI movie (no need for conversion) to a USB drive, plug into the Boxee and it runs like a champ. I can get about 5 movies on an 8gig so then just erase the old and load the new.

I don't give a crap what everyone else experienced. It worked twice for me. So whatevah.

Thing is, torrent sites just host the trackers, not the data. So it's quite possible there are genuine trackers on there. But, and it's a big but, TPB was pretty well self policed, the scammers and virus merchants didn't survive the scrutiny.

.cr is hosting a partial list of tpb's torrents from several days ago, plus, they're uploading new torrents under the names of some of tpb's most popular uploaders in an attempt to gain legitimacy. Once they grab your cc info to "confirm registration", you end up downloading empty torrents or torrents filled with white noise files.

As for cowslinger, I imagine it's hard to walk back his "no, it's not gone statement" in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, so he's doubling down cause "as he JUST said, it worked for him". The fact that he likely dl'ed torrents created before tpb's shutdown seems to escape his addled, little mind.

I read on another site it was up, I went to it and it looked the same...and I downloaded a couple yify's. Simple as that. The rest of the drama I don't know anything about.. I posted the link cause it worked for me.

And go fuck yourself while you're at it.

All of the clone sites have legitimate tpb trackers that have been copied, nitwit. Using your logic, they're all tpb. But if you try to dl something that was uploaded since the shutdown, as .cr is showing, you'll get garbage.

Clearly you're JUST that stupid.
