I was keeping an eye out for unfamiliar people, and realized other than irascibility, and loquaciousness, I am not too sure I would know him if I saw him.

I was thinking we need a birding guide style help to prepare for the second coming.

I know he leans right politically, but it seems like not on every issue.
Will he stick to that or throw us off scent with a left hook?

Those that knew and loved him best, what are his core principles that he could not argue the other side of?

How old was he?

California, I think?

What color was his ruffled chest feathers and how long was his beak?

Would you recognize a warble or a trill from him?

It's amazing to me how quickly some can slip into the acceptance phase. I'll be in denial for weeks.

So you trying to say I'm eyer? Your stupid hurts my head.

You know there are other birds, right? ...And this thing called a metaphor; like a parody, but less funny?

I was not under the impression you and Eyer were birds of a feather...

I didn't know he had threatened to leave. To be honest, I was only aware of him in passing. But ya know what? I hope he comes back.

EYERRRRRRR EYER COME HOME!!!

The ellipses! I forgot those.

They never jarred my eye. When I was blogging...back in the day...ellipses were common.

...they gave the blog a conversational feel. Are great for....rim-shot...comedic pause.

I tend to not use them because I am obsessed with my seemingly endless requirement for them in my elongated, nearly, but not quite, run on sentences. I am pretty sure I leave them out when requisite, and put them in, unnecessarily.

Ellipses are a good way to indicate a conversational pause where there is not one from a grammatical standpoint.

The fvck and azz thing. Was it your impression that he did it for irony, or was it a hold-over from some environment where one could not use vulgarity outright?

Anyone?

Any of you fvckin' azz fvcks got an opinion?

Yes. I do.

When a new poster starts six threads a day with only one or two replies and returns the next day undaunted to repeat the process, then you will know that eyer has returned.

;) ;)

We were buds until I started a thread demonstrating this fact.

Then, he hate me.

:D :D :D

OKay, all joking aside, what made eyer so much worse than others here?

He paid no allegiance to the status quo. It's an unforgivable sin.

My opinion, he was annoying to read and always had something negative to say and usually wrapped it up in oblique metaphors. I'll admit it. I didn't like him because I couldn't understand what the fuck he was saying. Whenever I did understand it was never anything I could sympathize with. He was crotchety and mean and a pompous ass about it.

You mean, like me?

What? No!!! You're just weird and kooky, ann. *shoves you down some stairs*

eyer was not a good look for you.

I get to see the worst side of many people here, face to face. Not complaining, just the way it is. Evil comes from many places, many directions for many different reasons. After a while, you can start to see the difference.

eeyore left and I missed it?

shit...I always miss the good stuff

he was just a constant state of misery, never once had anything positive to say about anyone short of Jesus, promoted the values of "individual liberty" whilst heaping nothing but scorn distaste and judgement on those that chose to think differently about anything then him, and literally went out of his way to be patronizing and condescending

ahhh eeyore

hated by few
