Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.

John F. Kennedy
A side note:

The 38 or so who first faced the hundreds of advancing Regulars on Lexington Green were not Minutemen...

...they were all militia.

The Regulars ran into Minuteman as they came upon the Old North Bridge leading into Concord...

...and those Minutemen retreated the Regulars all the way back to Boston.

Today is the day. This morning, my wife and I go shopping for her wig and head scarves.

I love you, Jazz; hair or not.

On Feb. 15 2010, Thomas Bruso's already unpredictable life took an abrupt detour. It was the day he ceased being Thomas Bruso and became Epic Beard Man, Internet sensation.

On Nov. 29, 1972, a crude table-tennis arcade game in a garish orange cabinet was delivered to bars and pizza parlors around California, and a multi-billion-dollar industry was born. Hereís how that happened, direct from the freaks and geeks who invented a culture and paved the way for todayís tech moguls.
