Donna was happy to be home from work. "Another day another fifty cents after taxes", she muttered under her breath." She took out her keys and began to open the outside door to her apartment building. UP the street she saw her neighbor, the one in the wheelchair coming back from whereever he spent his days. She waited for him holding the door for him.
Donna patiently waited for him to cruise on up to the door and into the foyer. As they both checked their mailboxes, Donna glanced sideways at him. He wasn't an unattractive man but his condition and the wheelchair had nept her from getting to know him to well. For some reason she decided to change that right now.
"So how was your day neighbor?' she said smiling at him as she closed her mailbox. and dropped all the political ads into the trashcan nearby.
