Reading clubs?

Are there reading clubs for literotica? I ask because I see flutters of activity on my stories, like several people favoriting a story within a few days of each other. For example, just a few days ago a story of mine that is almost a year old received 2 comments, 2 favorites, and an email feedback within 2 days. Seems odd that that would happen randomly.

Any one else see this?
 
Usually when you get a comment -even on an older story-another will follow because there are people who look through the feedback forum and will follow recent comments.

I have been curious about the fav thing though. People cannot see someone recently fav a story and I have had some get faved 3 or 4 times within the same day.

But I have never seen any type of reading group here.

I've never heard of that, but I have heard that people recommend stories to each other via pm. That would probably explain what you've been seeing.
 
Actually there is a "best incest" story thread going on right now and that's gotten me some recent attention on some of my stories.

There is also a "recommend a first time story thread" going on so I guess there are "groups" of sorts.
 
I hadn't thought about a reading club per se, but some time ago in another thread I tongue-in-cheek suggested that some right wing church pastor had his parishioners read all the LW stories and give the one bombs and anon feed-backs to anything that showed a wife cheating on or dominating hubby.
