While reading some stories during the sex scenes the author has his male character's penis entering the female's cervix or her womb. As a health care worker I can tell you that this is impossible except under one set of circumstances. This can only be accomplished within minutes of a woman giving birth to a baby and after she has delivered the afterbirth provided you had the doctor's and the hospital's permission. Even if you did approval for this you would be taking a major risk as the cervix would be starting to shrink back to its normal size. The penis could get trapped inside the uterus by the cervical opening thus restricting blood flow to the penis which would lead to cellular death.
Know your anatomy. I have seen woman's vagina referred to as her womb. The womb is the common name for the woman's uterus. The cervix is the portion of the uterus that extends into the vagina or pussy.

You do realize, don't you, that many both write and read this stuff for the over-the-top arousal effect? Did I mention over-the-top arousal effect?

Well, yes, but you're forgetting the many men in these stories have 18" penises that can penetrate anything.

I do agree some stories here can cause cellular death, but its to the other head.

What's the old saying? They spend nine months trying to get out and the rest of their lives trying to get back in.

Or, perhaps the author chose word for their generic association rather than their precise meaning? Perhaps it was a stylistic affectation?

Or they were too close to completion to waste the time to look up the correct word?

Yes, it was probably just rhetorical flourish, but I agree that it does sound a little silly.

There's lots of stories that talk about the penis hitting the cervix and squirting directly into the womb. Hmmm, I wonder how anatomically true that is.

Another poster mentioned, the 26 inch penis that pushes through anything. Hmmmm plot bunny for a sci fi super-weapon thriller. The only man that can defeat the rise of the robots is ... Supercock, only he can penetrate the armor of the fem-bots that are bent on the destruction of humanity.

So it was luck on my part that I didn't have sex with my wife right after she had given birth?

Too bad - I'm sure she would totally have been up for a wild romp after half a day of labor, several stitches in tender places and squeezing out the equivalent of a soccer ball...

I've never read a story that did this kind of thing, but I remember a thread posted here some months ago lamenting some writers' ignorance of the female anatomy. Some speculated that there were sixteen-year-old boys on the site pretending to be grown ups.

Now that's the problem of fiction, isn't it ?
It does NOT have to be physically, mathematically or medically correct, does it.

Whilst your expertise in the anatomy of a female does you credit, and your point is well made, do not, I beg of you, take these wild descriptions too literally.

I think my first wife would have agreed with you. :)

So my fantasy stories about Unbirth aren't realistic?

Now there you go spoiling it again!

Modern video techniques have allowed filming from inside the vagina using implanted cameras. In these films you can clearly see the penis moving in and out. During orgasm the cervix appears to extend into the vagina and hoover up sperm. Sometimes the extending of the cervix can coincide with the thrusting of the penis, giving the impression of entering a new cavity.

Having a lot less than 18 inches I have personally experienced what felt like having my cock kissed while still deep inside my woman. I think this is what writers are referring to when they talk about entering the cervix. Personally I find the description of the sensation more powerful, so that is what I use.

But what if the guy has a pencil dick? 12 inches long but only 1/4 thick?

In other words a thin polystyrene tube.

It would be possible, that is, if an individual hand a very long 3 to 8 mm thick penis.

Stranger things have happened.

Also, the cervix is capable of expanding and contracting and flexing.

Also, the cervix opening size, and vaginal size, varies from woman to woman.

A lot of people have impregnation fetishes. It might go along with that. Also, nothing in Harry Potter could have really happened, either.

Please write this story. :D

Great use of words in the final part of the sentence, fem-bots and bent, or is that just my mind. :D

The OP has popped up on a few threads writing about the same issue. I have not read any stories where this happens, and if I did, it would not matter.

This is an erotic fiction website where vampires, werewolves, ghosts and demons hump mere mortals and incest is commonplace and everyone has hot triplet sisters who are willing to fuck every male member of their family and all the men are hung like Supercock.

Short version. Its fiction. :)

How about those stories where the guy fucks a woman's brains out. What a freaking mess that would be all over the pillows.

I don't think the OP is talking about the kind of hyperbole and metaphor we all know and love in our erotica. In some prehistoric porn movie I once heard an actress exclaim "I can feel it in my throat!" as she was riding some well endowed stud. I didn't believe for a moment that the scriptwriter believed there was a navigable passage from the vagina to the throat or that even the longest cock could make the journey.

But there's no question that some writers who contribute to Literotica (men, I assume) really DON'T KNOW THEIR WAY AROUND A PUSSY. I've seen passages quoted in the forums that are unmistakable instances of plain old anatomical ignorance, not hyperbole, metaphor, or poetic license. I think that's what's bugging the OP.

On the other hand, I don't know what to do about it, besides laugh at it.

. . .

To my mind, there is little excuse for this ignorance; straying for literary reasons may be acceptable, but not real ignorance.

It's not as if there are few sources of information these days. There are whole websites devoted to a study of the lady-bits - in considerable (not to say "anatomic"), detail. And that does not include the sites for ladies information (until I tripped over one of them, I'd never seen a picture of a cervix. But then, I never read any medical textbooks).
