I read a story recently about scientists using supercomputers to analyze what would happen if 100 nukes were detonated simultaneously in a small military conflict. The yields of the nukes were the same as the one used in Hiroshima which are a lot less powerful than modern nukes.
What they found out was that around 2 billion people would die from starvation due to the nuclear winter that would follow.
As for dropping a nuke on Gaza or Israel. That would be an insane idea since they are literally next to each other. They would end up spraying nuclear fallout on each other.
