World Wrestling Empire - WWE/TNA/NJPW AU Pro-Wrestling Roleplay (OOC)

Hey, thought I'd try my hand at a professional wrestling based roleplay with Wrestlemania approaching in a week or so. The premise is pretty straightforward. All wrestling promotions under one roof. You can choose any wrestler, past or present from any promotion, or debut a custom wrestler in NXT and have them brought up to the main roster. So, Anyone interested?

Ever wanted to put on tights and grind up against sweaty muscular people? Then a career in profressional wrestling might be for you. I'm looking for professional wrestlers, writers and other talents for a fictional alternate pro wrestling promotion loosely based on the WWE with inspirations from Hoodslam and other adult oriented promotions. This isn't your daddy's wrestling. This is wrestling strictly made for and intended for adults. You can be from any other company and you can be any other wrestler -past and present, you can even create your own superstar and rise through the ranks. Though only the best can breakthrough and make it as champions.

The life of a professional wrestler isn’t cut out for everyone. With the life of fame and glory comes trials and tribulations with family, love and heartache. Relationships are destroyed in an instant. How tough are you? Think you can handle the tough life of a wrestler? Think again!

Join a staple, hook up with a diva, cement your legend, break the streak. More than just following general events and storylines, I want to explore all the kinds of intriguing stuff that happens backstage when the cameras go off and no one is watching. The wrestling world is abuzz of rumors and urban legends. What kind of lifestyles do these people live? Backstage hazing, the binge parties, kayfabe feuds, first-class accomodations and the addictions. The Wrestling world is often at the center of controversy and infamy. With an owner as eccentric as Mr. McVance and a format as anything goes as WWE, you can expect things to get a little more than wild.

You see the WWE is very desperate for revenue as of late, so much so in fact that they've taken to promoting their talent in unconventional, more often risque & extreme style matches, the WWE is begging to market their superstars in a more adult oriented fashion, performing certain PPV "midnight" specials for adult-only audiences.
