I feel bad for whining about this weather when I know so many have it worse, but Dang, this just isn't Washington. It almost makes me miss the rain. Ok. I do miss the rain. Just not rain every day.

It's much cooler today and hardly any fires from illegal fireworks, cheer for the small things!

Our city put up signs this year explicitly stating fireworks were banned (I guess they have been banned all along, but it was loosely enforced). Sure enough, last night there were several loud explosions, followed by sirens a few minutes later...
Glad the fireworks weren't a big issue for you

I saw the springdale news and I can smell some smoke in the air, but no sirens at all last night. If this is the most we need to worry about on holidays, I am very thankful!
