What looks like large rocks are actually little icebergs that drifted ashore this year. It got that cold out this winter.
and I was actually standing on the very edge of the water. all that between the bottom of the pic up to where the icebergs are is all floating ice chunks like one big icee. It was fun watching the waves come in and then have them muffled down by the time they reached the beach.

Your pictures are all great: the light, the contrast, the composition and the colors (when you do use them) area all very good.
I personally love pictures of trees, and the one with the "melted" one is really incredible.
And of course MrBonk put a smile on my face.
