I'm still trying. I don't know if you could get drunk on my last royalty check but it will help to pay the bills. Ellora's Cave is interested in one of my manuscripts, I just have to wait now until they decide.

We're getting to be a real force, ya know it? EVERYBODY buy Messages of Love! You have an opportunity that I think is a first... you can support THREE of your writing friends at the same time. Danielle of course, Imp gets a small royalty for the cover and I was the editor.

I just think that is so fucking cool. We are becoming a real breeding ground for success in erotic epublishing. This triad deal will be repeated, too... both with Danielle's next new Phaze work and with Victoria Blisse's next release.

After the way we have always supported each other here, I love that we are now succeeding together out there.

Second In A Series

I wrote a very unusual scifi story titled, "Second Chance: God Killer."

The basis of the story is that an embittered 71-year-old man, Glarney Fered, who is a blackbelt in the self defense art of Loro, is hired as a bodyguard for some sort of religious figure, a man of perhaps 50 years old.. The religious figure proves to know things that only one who lived through the very early parts of Glarney Fered's life could have known. Glarney and the religious figure try to track down a manuscript, through a gritty, inner-city environment. In the process of the search, Glarney finds himself developing paranormal powers, presumably from association with the religious figure. The search for the manuscript finally leads Glarney and the religious figure to try to invade a temple where the manuscript is being kept. The temple invasion ends with a classic scifi battle between a desperate Glarney and the life force of the recently dead religious figure. Glarney survives the battle and slowly comes to realize that he has become somewhat younger. Further adventures convince Glarney that he can grow still younger if he continues to acquire life force. Unfortunately, Glarney needs to kill people to acquire life force. Fortunately, Glarney's life style makes the acquisition of life force a continuing thing.

Glarney travels to continue his acquistion of life force. he becomes involved with drug smugglers, who it turns out are aliens. Glarney and the alien drug smugglers are captured by the alien Primitive Culture Police. The PCP is going to execute Glarney, but they first need him to track down and kill a dangerous criminal alien. Glarney, now known as Jahn Loght, manages to track down and kill the criminal alien and also to escape before the PCP can execute him.

Second Chance: Sky Pirate opens with Jahn Loght on the run from the PCP. Jahn, needing money, teams with a lady named Risha to rob a casino money operation. The robbery goes well, except that Risha dies. Still needing money to escape the PCP, Jahn tracks a designer drug to alien suppliers. Jahn then not only talks the alien suppliers into letting him deal their drugs, instead of killing him, but also the aliens agree to furnish Jahn with an anti-gravity device. [Jahn's economic analysis shows that anti-gravity is the only way the aliens could operate profitably in th gravity well of a planet other than their own. ]

With the anti-gravity device, Jahn realizes that he can increase his bottom line profits by ripping off other drug dealers. The anti-gravity devices allow Jahn to rob drug transporter trucks. However, the number of drug transporter trucks begins to drop, due to Jahn's predations. Thus, Jahn begins to rip off the large ships that deliver the drugs in the first place.

Jahn's sky piracy operations then lead him to solve a very big problem for his alien suppliers. The aliens must dispose of a saucer ship, without bad publicity. This last Jahn manages to do, using mainly low animal cunning.

Jahn then realizes that he needs to have a Kingdom, if he is to really continue as a sky pirate. Jahn locates a small, island Kingdom and makes himself King, mainly by killing anyone who gets in his way. [Jahn Loght now becomes Justin Imperiale.]

Justin then realizes that he will have to improve the lives of his subjects, in order to maintain a solid base for his sky piracy operations. Justin then grudgingly improves the lives of his subjects, so that he can continue to rip off more very profitable drugs.

Second Chance: Sky Pirate is the second in a continuing series. The adventures will continue as a sort of race where Justin makes himself too valuable to certain advanced alien civilizations to allow other advance alien civilizations to kill him. The race is a nip and tuck affair with a great deal of adventure.
