We might not be sure about Shakespeare's birthday within a few days, but we do know the day of his death. St George's Day.

St Georges day is interesting. I'm open to correction on this, but 23rd April derives from the Julian calendar. If it was Gregorian, it would be in May.

In the Eastern church if St George's day falls before? Easter, the saints day switches to Easter Sunday - but not all eastern churches!

In some parts of the eastern Mediterranean St George has two days - another in November.
