Hey everyone. First time posting. A little about me: as the title says, I'm a booklover. I'm a professor at university in the US and I love reading, learning, and teaching. Hoping to meet some like-minded people, and this seems like a good place to start. First time posting here after working up the courage so please be kind.

Thanks Ellexa. I do enjoy wearing suits. Perhaps I'll start taking some more pics of my work outfits. I think dressing well is an important part of my job-plus I don't look much older than most of my students so I try to do something to stand apart. And you have lovely pics as well. You're quite beautiful.

Thanks Twilight. I love your T.E. Lawrence quote by the way. One of my prize books is the first American printing of Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Brilliant man: scholar and adventurer. And your profile pic is very enticing.

Thank you Talikat. I am big into ties; I probably have over 100! I think matching the right one to the right shirt can really make the outfit. And I do whatever I can to get students to come to class-can be quite difficult sometimes, especially those dreaded AM classes. You should be a professor yourself. Your pics are stunning.

Are you volunteering? I think you would make a fantastic Girl Friday. And I've always loved the old fashioned PI books. Probably read too many detective books and watched the Maltese Falcon one too many times.

Maybe I am.

But only if I get to do something more than be your secretary and drive you to the hospital after the bad guys beat you up. (You know.. the typical ass kicking before the PI reveals the person who hired him is really the master mind behind all the crimes.

) Hrmmm... I can't remember what the name of it is, but there's a PI flick that was shot completely in first person.

Well it would seemingly be perfect it with it being Easter weekend to have the rabbit make a special appearance. But he is very shy, it's quite the trick to make him come out.
